Diablo Bowmen Archery Club

I called and left a message about a month ago to try to register for a beginner class for my wife's birthday. No one called back or left a message. Website is difficult to understand if you need a membership or not to do the beginner class, no clue what the pricing is for the class and you can't register online. I figured our family of 4 could just show up and join a beginner class, but no way to enter and no one picked up the phone again when I called at the entrance. All future beginner classes are now full and looks like no other ones are scheduled for this season. This has been a very disappointing experience. I wish they cared a little more for customer service and being able to book online.

Let me preface this by saying I am no expert, in fact I've never had the desire to even hold a bow and arrow. Further, I only went to Diablo Bowmen because my daughter's Girl Scout troop hosted an event today.However, as soon as we arrived I was stoked!!!! The mountains were gorgeous, the bows were so shiny and the targets seemed to scream "hit me." Our instructor was very informal and fun, but also very effective in teaching us the safety and guidelines of archery. Initially, my arrows lamely fell to the ground but with gentle encouragement and guidance from our instructors, I eventually shot a bulls eye! Diablo Bowmen is for members only so I definitely plan to look into that more. They also do community outreach so please contact them for further information if your group, school, family or friends are interested in learning more and experiencing the sport.

I love shooting arrows at this private club. 52 acres of archery paradise. The best part is that annual dues are cheap and I can go there anytime day or night.

Diablo Bowmen has a beautiful, vast, and well-kept archery range for field, 3D, and target shooting. I became a member right away after taking the archery class they offer through the city of Concord's Park and Rec.The club has loaner equipment for someone starting out and interested in archery. The senior members are helpful with advice on techniques and what gears to get.There's nothing more fun than shooting arrows, surrounded by the beautiful Mt. Diablo scenery.

We were at an indoor archery range when the outreach manager came over and invited us over to this place for a bit of an idea of what shooting outdoor is like. She was very generous and showed us around the property, showing us the amazing shooting trails and range. This place is very family oriented and i would highly recommend looking into getting a membership.
