If I could put ZERO stars I would. We drove far & spent a lot of money here bcuz our boy loves to fence, but in the end it wasn't worth it. Every week we were supposed to confirm each meetup which we did. The issue is that Coach Z tells us he's going out of town for 3 weeks & NEVER sent us the link to confirm our next practice. Then after, he sends a message asking where were we? I was waiting for you? THEN has the audacity to send an invoice for a missed practice? Trust that he never communicated to us about this practice. Complete ripoff. He burned the bridge with us. We were gonna return but now no more.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable trainers. I would recommend any parents to start their children in fencing at a young age. They will love it. My daughter was in the teen class for several months before she started slacking off. She met another girl in her class and started mimicking her obnoxious behavior. Her father and I were so disappointed that she ruined the only opportunity she had to fence with such great trainers in the Central Valley.

The owner is a complete jerk and very dismissive and disrespectful to women. The prices for classes are very high and the actual time training is only approximately 20 minutes. The kids run laps and stretch for 40 minutes. The owner runs late to class and is still setting up the equipment when class has technically already started. Completely unprofessional and a joke for the absurd price you pay! Beware and don't waste your time and money. Unfortunately it's the kids who suffer from this place! My son is able to come for Saturday classes, however they overfill the class because their only concern is for the money & getting more kids than the space allows. His wife, Maya is very sweet and offered my son a private session to make up the day he wasn't able to attend. On the day of the makeup session, no one shows. They forgot. Today, When I asked for a make up session, the owner was completely dismissive to me & said my sons are no long able to come! He walked away with his holier than thow attitude & refused to speak to me. His English is somewhat broken, and it's his way or the highway! My boys love fencing, and now they are no longer able. Zoran "doesn't want to deal with it" and that is it! Completely chauvinistic and unprofessional!!!

If you have never tried fencing and want to, this is the best place (and way) to do it. The instructors, Maja and Zoran, are incredibly patient and knowledgable. You don't have to have any of your own equipment, they provide it all. And as a bonus, you don't even have to drive to Stockton. They now offer classes in Livermore and Tracy, through the local park and rec centers. The instructors explain form and strategy, work on stretching and agility and each class has time for practice bouts with your classmates. Cannot say enough positive things about this school. But if you haven't tried it, you have no idea what you're missing.
