Del Rio Country Club

Well, well, well. What a fantastic surprise in the middle of sleepy Modesto! This oasis on the east side is a great little resort of sorts! Came here for a birthday celebration from The Bay for our good friend and Pastor! They have beautifully designed dining halls to fit all occasions from small hellos after a work out to grand weddings! The grounds are nicely kept for you outdoor golfing and tennis activities. Become a member and live the good life with your own labeled locker cabinet! The food was tasty and filled me to satisfaction also! Not to mention a full bar to quench your heat stroke! I definitely want to visit here again!!

Can't praise Amber enough for how great she was at coordinating the wedding! Her professionalism and organization, her knowledge-base and experience, her friendliness and kindness - I could go on and on. Of course the venue is beautiful, but Amber and her team are what made it spectacular experience. Many, many thanks Amber. Our whole family so appreciates all you did for us!

Easter 2024, Del Rio always makes it so fun for the little ones. Great food and seen a lot of our friends. The Easter eggs hunt was a blast again this year. Thank you DRCC

Don't recommend! I was trying to book my wedding and I never have been more disrespected. The event coordinator Amber was supposed to give us a tour and instead we had her assistant do it. She was racist, rude, and had serious attitude problems. After talking with close friends who are members of the club, I was encouraged to reach out again, I let Amber know about my bad experience and she couldn't have been more rude herself. No respect, no care, no customer service really. It feels like you are bothering them by asking a question, she wouldn't even send me information or schedule a time with me. When I say " THE WORSE" customer service I have ever seen in my life, believe me! Save your time, spend your $80k wedding at a different venue! Please!

This place is excellent. I've been a member here for 10 years and they have never let me down. A little bit pricey though

My brother belongs to many country clubs and we always enjoy breakfast or lunch at Del Rio, we partook of the Easter Luncheon Brunch buffet. The selection was outstanding, all items were fresh and constantly replenished, omelettes were made to order. Just wonderful. Then I attended a Bridal Shower held with roughly 80 women, you must understand, these ladies vary in age and attitude and not one complaint, grilled salmon , shrimp Salad or Pasta Primavera ( it was a non-meat offering per the hostesses). Excellent service and food. Lastly, this month, I attended an over the top wedding, over 200 guests. Steak, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh sautéed vegetables and a salad to die for. The steak was so tender and tasty and then the appetizer little tacos filled with veggies or chicken and a shrimp brochettes. Such a marvelous place. I recommend this venture highly.

I was a photographer at a recent wedding that took place at Del Rio Country Club. My experience there was phenomenal. Not only was the facility gorgeous and well maintained but everyone I came in contact with was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a perfectly lit ceremony and ample photographic backgrounds to choose from. If I could give them more stars I would. If you've never been to a country club, don't use this one as an example. While the facilities are very nice, the dining leaves a lot to be desired. The pierced and tattooed wait staff are marginally attentive when they are not behind the bar with their eyes glued to their phones. The food is good but the menu is the same in the grill as well as the fine dining room, which is quite odd. I wonder what happened to the dress code, as so many members and guests were not dressed appropriately. Children were running wild around tables and the music was blaring so loudly that it was difficult to converse with friends across the table. I thought perhaps we were at the mall, and not DRCC. The patio was marginally better but really, is it necessary to constantly blast the music, even outside?

My daughter recently got married (10-5-24) and had her reception at Del Rio Country Club. My daughter and her new husband, my wife, family and all of our guests were extremely pleased with everything! Wedding coordinator Amber Allen Gliege and her staff were amazing! Attentive to our every need.We lacked for nothing. Amber is a true professional and goes the extra mile with "Nordstrom" service. Her staff reflects her attention to detail. The service could not have been better, and the food was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to book a wedding reception, Christmas party or other event.
