Defense Shot

Best of the best. I was referred to Defense shot by my FFL. I gotta say, the course was informational and helped get me 30:30 to qualify later that day. Many basic concepts covered and very interested in the intermediate and advanced courses. Beyond all that they recommended a cool holster upsell I took advantage of and man it's soft and also very concealable. Next step: call EDSO to arrange to drop off my app in person and schedule my interview. At the end of the day, it was a lotta fun.

We've taken many courses from Defense Shot and they are incredible teachers with safety always being the priority. John has so many tips and up to date information and he always spent the extra time to show us what was needed to improve and advice to make us feel comfortable and confident. I would recommend people go to Defense Shot even if it's a drive from your hometown because the money we spent on all of our training was well spent!

John was awesome!!!My 11 year old son and I took the course. We had a great time learning appropriate gun safety information.We got to shoot a variety of guns which helped us understand the differences and made us feel very comfortable handling them safely.Safety was a priority always.Highly recommend!!!!!

The instructors at Defense Shot were absolutely amazing! Both John and John Sr made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. They both went above and beyond the normal three hours to work with us until we were confident. We asked a multitude of questions and they answered them all without hesitation, drawing from all of their experience and knowledge. I've taken a beginners class before, but nothing as good as this one! I strongly recommend Defense Shot for anyone and urge you to help support our family businesses.

Ccw 8 hour class. What a great class - not because I had to take it, but a class I think every hand gun owner should take. The way how the class is structured you learn about every aspect of being a hand gun owner. There were so many things I learned walking away from this class.
