DC Donuts

I made a yelp account just to express how much i appreciate this doughnut shop lol, I've been here probably 10 times, every-time I enter the shop the super nice lady behind the counter always greets you with a smile and asked how your doing. The doughnuts are good, can't really ask much from a doughnut. And I feel comfortable getting my morning snack here, always leave a tip of course :))

Omg!!!! Best donuts and super sweet people!!!! Love this donut place!!! A must try!!! Super clean!! Thank you sooo much for the deliciousness!!! . Also we barely left and my holes are almost gone!

Huge donuts. Fresh made every day! They offer breakfast sandwiches as well as a great selection of fresh tasty donuts. Great service and I will definitely visit again.

Came by early Friday morning and it smelt so good!!! And it was. Lady was very nice and breakfast sandwich was good!! Thank you

To anyone reading this, WARNING, try your glazed doughnuts before you leave or just don't buy them all together if your unsure. Why is everyone giving this place 5 stars? Does this place have new owners? My husband and I are not from here but my husband decided to stop and get a couple glazed doughnuts. He said he bought two glazed doughnuts and some coffee and he said he bit into the glazed doughnut and it had a weird after taste. He went back in just to let the worker know it had a weird aftertaste. He suggested maybe the oil was bad. The lady got upset and said "we made fresh this morning and we change oil, and no refund". My husband said he was just trying to let her know but she got defensive. He proceeded to state his opinion then threw the doughnuts away. He hates wasting money , so for him to throw them away, they must have been really awful. Personally I would not return here, who knows what was in that doughnut.

Omg.....this place is so so so good. And I haven't even got to the donuts yet. I had a jalapeño ham and cheese croissant and it was the best and warm. I can't wait for my next one. I also got a #18 turkey avocado bacon croissant and WOW. I see this as my new favorite sandwich/donut shop. They are so nice there too!!!! And fast!!!!! We even got 2 free donuts!!!!

Love this place! The service is always amazing and the food is DELICIOUS!! The lady always gives us a little extra she's so nice!! Always come here when we want breakfast out! Donuts and sandwiches are delicious!

they have premade ham and cheese croissants or they will make you a custom one w bacon or sausage or veggie or whatever. I cant believe I hadnt been here before last weekend. I will definitely be back for my weekend breakfasts or even an early weekday one.

I was craving a maple bar and stumbled upon this gem of a spot. Unfortunately I did not go inside, but I was told the women on the inside was an absolute sweetheart. I ended up with a maple bar, donut holes and a chocolate old fashion. The maple bar was excellent and the donut holes were the best I've ever had. I ate the chocolate old fashion the next day and was pleased it was as fresh as my donuts the previous day. Next time I come in I have check out their filled donuts. I was told they add the filling to the donut fresh in front of you.

I rarely eat donuts...and have actually driven by this location a million times...but today I craved a donut and stopped by a nearby store front to be disappointed with the selection. I decided to finally stop in to DC Donuts and I was so impressed! Friendly help...but most importantly, the donuts were PERFECT! I had no idea how good they would make me feel! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DONUT SHOP!
