I hate to write negative reviews but when it comes to purchasing firearms and anything relating to firearms, a reliable vendor is MUST. DAVIS GUNWORX is not it. This business was a recommended vendor by LC ACTION. I ALSO chose this business due to the location. First off, I ordered my firearm and a month or so later, Justin never contacted me that the weapon had arrived. I had to call him to inquire about the weapon. When I did call, he never picks up, answers, or returns any calls. Finally after several calls, he picks up and confirms the weapon had arrived to his business (which is located in the garage of his residence). After I get there to verify the weapon and complete the registration paper, he tells me it's going to be a few weeks before I can pick up the weapon. He never once calls me to let me know it's ready. I AGAIN have to call him and remind him a few weeks later. When it's been confirm that paper works were cleared and weapon is ready to be picked up, I call him the day prior (of course he is again hard to get a hold of, never returns calls or answers but does return texts) to inform him that I will be picking up the weapon. He says Saturday at 11am is fine. I get there the next day at 11am and no answer. After 5 minutes, he asks who I am and if I have an appointment????!??? At this point, I am seriously lost for words. I am a working professional and expect the same courtesy. I remind him YES I spoke to him yesterday and we had an appointment at 11am. 20 minute later, he lets me in. No apologies or anything. At this time, I have already been waiting outside for 30 minutes. Never again will I do business here or recommend anyone else.

I placed an order for a gun on 12/9/2023 for $3,750 with the expectation that the gun will be delivered in few months. Justin and Cassie were responsive in the beginning, but as time went on they became less and less responsive to my inquiries for delivery until they just stopped responding in May of 2024. As of now 5 months later, I still don't have the gun I ordered, my requests for refund goes unanswered, and now I have to allocate resources to take legal action.

I had some ammunition transferred to Justin a couple years ago. He let me know immediately when it came in he was professional, more than fair I would definitely do business with him again.

Oh I realized an update was overdue.I recommend this FFL. I would definitely do business with him again if only I lived closer. He has fantastic pricew on ammo I much needed and buying the AK from him was no hassle and pleasant. I strongly recommend calling before you stop by to give a lil heads up you're coming by I'm sure I'll be back when I'm in the general area

best of service and very good gun craftsmanship. The guns are very good quality. This place is the best of the best. I recommend this FFL.

Horrible customer service. The owner (Justin) rarely, if ever, returned my phone calls to inquire about the firearm I ordered. I then ordered parts for a firearm and the owner never called me back to let me know that the item arrived at his shop. I had to keep calling and inquiring if the item had arrived. Justin said he would let me know when the item arrived, but after several months, I received no phone call or text messages from him. Then several months later, I called the shop again and Justin said he had the item which had been at his shop for some time. The owner has zero people skills and even used profanity at me in his shop/garage. The owner ordered the wrong item for my firearm and insisted it was the correct item. Then after explaining to him it was not the correct item for my firearm, he wanted me to wait for him to reorder the correct item. I didn't have four more months of waiting on the item. I returned item to Justin and am still waiting for my refund. He also overcharged me for the item. I found the same item online for approximately $30 less. I would never purchase anything else from this business. Extremely inconvenient and rude.

Came into the shop as a new owner after coming to several arms dealers in the Sacramento and Bay area, by far the best customer service I've been given was from here, really appreciate the advice Justin had for me and walked away happy, with what i wanted and more, really great prices, and with plans to come back. There was no pressure to purchase and tolerance for my lack of knowledge was admirable, all questions answered truthfully and without intent to sell me on a product, greatly appreciated. Could not say the same for a lot of shops in the area. If you're into guns or getting into them, i believe this is the best service you're going to get and i would and will highly recommend this to all friends and family members.PS. The location is in a neighborhood which the fiancé found odd at first, but once you're at the address its very professional and most importantly, to me at least, stands out the most in the whole area, you will be treated with respect regardless of race, age, knowledge etc.
