David’z Tacos

This is crazy, I literally drove from home and was put on hold. Mind you I don't live far ( 3 minutes to be exact ). I was just trying to avoid having to wait so I called ahead. The lady asked me immediately to be put on hold waited 15 minutes for her to pick back up the phone and you can clearly see how long I was on the phone and there is NO LINE. Disappointed in their service for sure. And once she picked back up the phone she said are you still there? & I told here I sat in my car waiting for them to pick up and there is literally no line. And she said , " oh okay " and hung up. Like what?! Mind blown in this situation.

Every time I visit the 209, David'z has become my go-to taco truck in the area, and it's not even close. The highlights for me continue to be the quesotacos, which are packed with meat, melted cheese, and of course crispy to bite. The crispy part is honestly what makes this taco for me, especially when you add their chipotle sauce. It's so good, that I end up pouring it on everything. On my latest visit, I tried their al pastor street tacos, and my word, these were HELLA GOOD! Probably some of th best street tacos I've had in a really long time. Even when I'm not hungry, I could easily eat 3 of these. At 2.50 each, you can get a full on meal of tacos and a drink for under $15. Definitely recommend trying out this truck if you are in the area.

A beautiful thing about living in Turlock is all of the taco trucks are delicious. But David's does stand out among the rest. If you are looking to shake it up from a traditional burrito, go with my favorite combination of the surf and turf tacos, and a chalupa. The Baja sauce is next level you won't be disappointed.

The service was great except the order was wrong after the lady said it was possible to be done . There was not that many people and it still took approx 20 minutes . They could have had to go orders and maybe that's why it took long . The outside was clean .The food was tasty but the problem I am having was she clearly said my total was $30 and when I checked my statement it was $40 ... there's a discrepancy here .

Food was delicious! The meat was full of flavor and the salsa was the perfect. I would highly recommend!

Chalupas are the best. Been here a few times and service is good and I recommend tacos of asada and pastor. Favorite is the chalupas.

We went to see if the hype was real. We drove from Modesto! IT IS! Let me tell you, im from the East Coast and not used to eating Mexican food all the time. But -- I could eat here daily. Service is friendly, helpful and fast. The food is plain old great. I had a al pastor chicano taco ( $3) -- wow. I also had the Carnitas Chalupa ($5) -- another wow. Everyone loved their food. One issue-- no diet soda -- 2 people were diabetic and we had to go to another food truck to get diet soda ($1) I humbly suggest adding that as a convenience for your guests (and to boost sales lost to another vendor) Overall - a great experience. Yes it deserves the hype and wish them much success.

Love eating here. Pretty much eat there every Wednesday and Saturday. Today I ordered $42 worth of food. Paid with my credit card and was charged $5 service fee for using my card. That's a 12% charge for using my card. I don't mind paying a small fee for using my credit card but 12%?? When I questioned her, she said it's 8.5%?? I guarantee their fees are not 12%...if so they are getting ripped off. I told her I won't be eating there any longer. I wonder how long I have been getting charged like this. Check your credit charges as they may have been doing this for some time now. Won't happen any longer.
