One of the best parts of my wedding was the venue. We looked at numerous venues all over Northern CA and when we drove up to David Girard I just knew it was the one! The entrance is jaw dropping, the ceremony site is beautiful, and the reception area is the perfect party spot! The wraparound deck at the reception site is overlooking the vineyard and it gives great photo opportunities for your guests while they wait for you to take your own pictures. Between the sunset and the vineyard in the background, it's amazing! I can't tell you how many of my guests changed their profile picture on Facebook to a picture they took at David Girard with the vineyard in the background. The other reason I give this review 5 starts is because Keri, Diana, and Darci are AMAZING! They listened to every request of ours and they more than accommodated everything. From the first meeting, to the weekly phone calls I made with questions, to the day of the wedding they were beyond helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through the stressful process of planning a wedding. We knew we wanted a venue that included most things (ceremony and reception site, day of coordinating, catering, DJ, etc.). David Girard provided all of that! The food was such a hit! We chose the buffet and everyone loved it. The DJ (Steve) was awesome, the girls (Keri, Diana, and Darci) couldn't have been a better fit for us, and like I said before, the venue itself is just breathtaking. I wish I could relive my wedding day once a year; that's how perfect everything was! Note: We got married in October, 2016 and the weather was perfect.

The team at Wedgewood Wedding at David Girard Vineyard knows how to organize, create, and execute a magical wedding like you wouldn't believe. We booked this venue about 1.5 years before our wedding date. They provided timelines and suggestions on what to do to prepare for your wedding. Then reminded you when you had appointments coming up and were flexible if you were running slightly late. They had tons of options to make the wedding personalized for you, from the food to the decorations and even the timeline. I told them that I did not want to be stressed out at my wedding, I had heard horror stories about brides not enjoying their wedding because of this or that. Liz did a fantastic job of wrangling all the wedding party together, organizing the first looks, putting someone in charge to make sure we got some of the food we purchased. I threw last minute add-ons like drone pictures and a remote control car with a 2 yr old in it at her and she handled as the pro she is. We used the recommended flower shop (Camino Flower shop) to provide the flowers. She is such a fun lady to work with. I'm not a person who usually can express exactly what I want, but she read between the lines and created a truely unique bouquet with the blue orchids (did you know there was such a thing?). We also used Cocomont (not included the wedgewood package) to help us with our decoration. This included a elegant rustic wooden panel and huge drapes to go high into the beams. It really added the personal touch we were looking for. Frank's Bakery from Cameron Park was the vendor for our desserts. He made the most delicious lemon bars and cupcakes. Then Grant DJ was our MC, who kept the party going till it was time to turn-off the lights. We were dancing all night long, with no lulls in the music. Overall this is a romantic, elegant, and beautiful venue run by a management who are truely the professionals at what they do. I was able to actually enjoy my wedding and not worry about whether we were on time. This is something you won't hear many brides say, just ask your friends. I loved every minute of my wedding and I will remember it for eternity. Thank you Wedgewood Weddings at David Girard Vineyards!

We got married at David Girard on May 18, 2019 and booked through Wedgewood Weddings. From the first time we saw the property in person, it instantly had that "Wow!" factor we were going for and each venue we toured after DG didn't even come close!! In addition to the beautiful property, once we saw the value and ease of the Wedgewood packages, there was no going back. The vineyards/grounds are unparalleled and offer endless EPIC photo opportunities. The reception hall is gorgeous and spacious, and even the back-up plan for rain (which we ended up having to use) is gorgeous. The Wedgewood team, specifically our day-of-coordinator Liz, made the process of planning a wedding as stress-free as possible, and handled the changes in the plans due to rain with ease. Our friends/family kept commenting on how organized we were - but really it was Wedgewood's (and Liz's) experience with weddings that made every single last detail come together flawlessly. They schedule multiple planning meetings with you and even give you a planning binder that helps you think of every detail. We couldn't be happier with the location and all our guests were in awe. David Girard recently did some renovations and expanded the girls' get-ready-room - which is now very spacious and perfect for any size bridal party to get ready in. The wine is incredible. We used several of Wedgewood's recommended vendors (including Camino Floral for flowers, Cocomont Styling for Staging, Frank Vilt's for cake/dessert bar, and Jake Roberts for the DJ) and we were SO glad we did. Every vendor was so professional and delivered high-quality services. Best of all, Liz communicated with the vendors for us, so she let Dottie at Camino Floral know how many tables there were for centerpieces and let Frank know how our final guest count for the dessert bar, etc. AND everything was there and ready by the time we arrived to do our 'first look.' Staging was complete, the bouquets were waiting for us in water in the get-ready room, and the DJ was already playing our pre-ceremony music. It was seamless and relieved so much stress for us not having to worry about communicating with each vendor to finalize little (last-minute) details. AND the vendors know the venue, so they knew which decor would look best, how tall to make the centerpieces, how big of a table they needed for the dessert bar, where to set up the slideshow and photobooth, etc. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Wouldn't change a thing and we cannot believe the great value we got for such high quality vendors, location, day-of-coordination services, etc. We are so glad a neighbor recommended we check out David Girard for our wedding venue, and I don't know what we would have done without the experts (Liz and Matt) at Wedgewood helping us plan the wedding of our dreams!!

You get what you pay for! I got married at DG 3 weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. Although the price can seem expensive in the beginning it is probably the best money you will spend on a wedding. They took care of all the coordinating on the wedding day so my husband and I didn't have to think about one thing- literally. They would say "it's time for you to mingle" or "we are doing the cake cutting now" which was super nice to not have to worry about anything besides enjoying the day. They also were super flexible and helpful during the planning process and Diana was sooo awesome. This is an honest review and if I could do the whole day over again I would do it in a heart beat because the staff made it so easy for us to enjoy every second. They made our day!

Food is absolutely disgusting, all the dinners were cold. Cheap cuts of beef, frozen chicken breasts and frozen vegetables. It tasted like we were eating from the $.98 store I would never use them and it was the biggest waste of money that I can remember. HORRIBLE I had to give them one star because I couldn't give them none!!!

We got married this November here! Diana and Darci were absolutely incredible in helping us plan this wedding in 2 months! These two women of wedgewood are absolutely amazing. My wedding was so seamless and they took care of everything. No words can describe our experience with working with them to have our wedding so quick. Diana bustled my complicated dress that bridesmaid couldn't without watching a video. The food was amazing. All our Guests loved the venue, how it looked and how amazing the wine was! I would recommend Wedgewood weddings at sequoia mansion to everyone! Most amazing wedding ever! Love Diana and Darci! Thankyou

This was the perfect venue for our wedding! You definitely get what you pay for and it's absolutely worth every penny! My husband and I had an absolute blast. The staff is amazing and really make it stress free for the entire family, especially the bride and groom! I wouldn't change a single thing about this venue or how Wedgwood runs the event. We still have people calling us to tell us how amazing it was. It was perfect and I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone getting married!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I am only writing this review to warn other brides. I made an appointment at 12:45pm this last Friday and was told to wait at the gate and that someone from Wedgwood would meet my mother, fiancé and I and the gate to let us in the property. We arrived at around 12:30(we drove all the way from Roseville). NO ONE CAME UNTIL PAST 1!!! The gal, Darci I believe her name was, was extremely unorganized and unprofessional. So we began our tour of the property, which is very pretty. But after the ceremony they expect all of your guests to walk up this extremely steep hill to get to the reception!!! But she said "well if you are old or disabled we can take you in a golf cart but everyone else has to walk. So that was red flag number one. We then get to the reception site, which Darci had no brochures or pictures to show us about how it looks when it is all decorated. It was so clear that she truly had no idea what she was talking about. There is no bridal suite, there is just a room that is a size of a closet that can be used as (her words exactly) "just to put your dress on most brides come here ready to go". So that was red flag number 2.Also there is no hotel near this venue. Unless you want to drive 20-25 minutes and be at a mom and pop bed and breakfast that has 10 rooms. The drive to there from Roseville is extremely windy it made all of us carsick!!!!! For how much they include in their package I wouldn't trust these people with my money or my wedding ever!!!!!! So just don't even bother scheduling a consultation and save yourself the headache!!! I mean, unless having a extremely unprofessional and disorganized wedding staff is your thing.
