Today was our very first day. We did a trial class in the Creative Movement class, which is for 2.5-4yrs old. It was adorable and focused on fun. They stretched, did a few ballet moves (1st, 2nd, 3rd positions and Demi-pliés) and then danced in semi-silly, and semi ballet-like ways. It was adorable! The only thing that surprised me was that the dancers are separated from the parents during class. There is a large window where you can watch, but my child is a little clingy so it was an issue. Luckily, they allowed me to remain in the dance area for her comfort, which I appreciated. Then about halfway through, she needed to go potty. Afterwards, I was able to send her in with the other dancers alone. The parent area is HUGE! There are toys to play with, lots of (comfortable) places to sit, and even cold water and soda on sale ($1.00 each). Also, there are Ballet shoes available to borrow for free if you aren't ready to buy your own, or if your dancer forgot yours. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, but I was super happy with what I found inside. Oh! My $10 trial class fee? It was applied 100% to her first month tuition. ($50)Also, my daughter has a physical disability, and wears a brace on one leg. They didn't even bat an eye. Just asked me about what her limitations were. Highly, highly recommend!

I love Dance Connection! I spent my best dance years here from when I was 12 - 18! I was on the competitive team for a couple years as well and I loved every moment of it. Being on the competitive team was amazing and the best experience as it's super challenging and all the girls really help each other. You have to get selected to be on the team, so if you try your hardest, anyone has a chance. The owners, Janie and Elizabeth, are total sweethearts! The teachers, though I think they've changed a bit in the past couple years, are great! The dances are all creative and have fun music. Recitals are great and all the time that the teachers spend prepping your kids for it is really special. Overall it's a very challenging and positive atmosphere as all the teachers push you to do your best and to give your all. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new studio in the area.

I received my check of $15.00 today in the mail. No apology but at least my trial fee was returned.

Yes , I love this place. Both my daughters have had great experiences here and continue to do so. The staff is really passionate about the kids and dance. It really does show. Yes, this place could use a little sprucing up. But , the kids aren't there for how pretty the building looks. They are there to make friends, learn to dance, and have fun doing it. It's all about the kids, not the parents. So as far as the previous reviews go. You have to experience this family orientated organization for your self. Somebody else's trash is always someone else's treasure.

Horrible! Took our daughter there towards the end of the "season" (who knew there were seasons for dance!?) and was forced to buy the costume for the recital that was a month away. My daughter is 3 and couldn't care less about the show. She just wanted to have fun and learn to dance like Angelina ballerina. The front desk lady was so rude and obnoxious when I told her we wouldn't be at the show. A month before we weren't going to be there so what does it matter!? My daughter barely knew the dance. The teacher never introduced herself or acknowledged our presence either. So glad we paid to be ignored. Facility is dumpy too. No ac so when it's 100 outside, it's 100 inside too. Floors were dirty and tons of dust bunnies on the dance floors. Best person there was Skylar and she was an assistant. She should be the main teacher!! Would NEVER recommend this place.

I've been dancing for quite a few years now and this past semester has been horrible, my old teacher left and was left with a new one who was a meanie. I've known the new one for a while now but shes mean as the old maid. One of the key owners left and I realized that's when everything started going down hill. The corheography was sub par not even sub par more like below sub par and they wouldn't let me move up into a different class. The dance teacher that I had was just very rude to me and I hope she gets fired because you know some people just shouldn't and she shouldn't! Ways that she was mean to me was that I asked how the completion went and she said "well didn't you see all the trophies out there" and I'm all like well I was just asking a question because you know if you choreographed they probably got last place. Now don't get me wrong there are some wonderful teachers at this studio but this one is just very rude. She made my friend choose between two things she loved, and she chose shockingly not dance. This past semester hasn't been fun for me it was more of a chore. Oh I have to go to dance ugh. And I wasn't learning anything new they weren't moving me foward, I had to learn point on my own! I have significant back problems and when my back hurts I can't do anything for like a couple days to a couple weeks so the fact that I didn't come one day and she said "well you could have came and sat on the floor and watched " like what would that have done, make my back hurt even more because I case you didn't know I can't sit on the floor while my back is hurting. Plus why would watching them help me in any sort of way?!?!? I would have forgot it all so what's the point. All in all before the old owners left it was a great but it went downhill after that.
