I haven't been to Daiso in a while. We decided to check this spot out since we were in the area. Store is clean and well organized. My mom and I got confused on how much the items are. The products here are under the Japanese yen. They do have a conversion chart which is nice. If the item does not have the yen symbol or a price then it's $1.75. At first I was looking at it wrong and thought an item was $15. Glad it wasn't the case. We did ask someone and they cleared up our confusion. We ended up buying a few items and some asian snacks.

I waited in line for a short hour and a half (with about 180 other people) for the grand opening of this store. WORTH IT!Daisies did not disappoint. The team members were on their game and helped the line move quickly. Everything was well organized and a team member at every turn to speed the process. Checkout had a hiccup when the American Express api wasn't working on the kiosk, but a quick change to Visa did the trick. Great job people, and welcome to the Trinity Parkway neighborhood! Glad to finally have you.

The good- this daiso in the trinity shopping center (stockton) is clean, organized, and well stocked. It is also huge in comparison to other daisos I have been to. The not so good- one employee, a young asian guy (filipino?) was.... strange. he repeatedly stated that all items are non returnable, all sales final. one of my items was a set of hangers, missing a price tag & paper wrapper. He asked another worker to find another item that had both, she did. I asked to buy the item that had the price tag/wrapping, he asked me "why?" Strange young fellow. He asked me if I needed the receipt, I said yes. His answer? "Of course you do! We have to keep track of all that $$ we spent at daiso!" Me- "You're weird. And rude."
