Cutting Edge Martial Arts

I personally have never been into martial arts. I've always heard positive things from parents that have their kids in taekwondo. I had checked out Robinsons in Lodi before, but I wasn't a huge fan. However, Cutting Edge has been something totally different. I really see the passion these instructors have for what they teach. I like that they're attentive to the kids, teach them to be disciplined, and teach them other important values. They don't play with nonsense, but will be patient with kids that aren't listening and talk to them in a caring but firm manner. I love the way they put on belt testing for the kids. It was such a cool thing to see. My kids love it and I love seeing my kids learning something that they enjoy with instructors that have a true passion for what they teach.

Our grandson takes classes here and we could not be happier with the way that classes are run, the care that the owner and instructor give to the children, the discipline that is taught and the pride the children have in their accomplishments. Great place to send your children!

I love this place! My daughter just started with Mr. Lo's martial arts studio and she is enjoying this as much as I do. Both Mr. Lo and Mr. Marco are very patient and kind to the kids, they know each kid's name. They also take the time to make sure that the kids are doing well off and on the mat. I am so glad that I found this place for my child. This is my type of community and I am so glad that I found a safe place for my child to learn self defense, good manners, self control and restraint.

I can recommend Cutting Edge enough! Mr. Marco and Mr. Lo have changed our lives for the better. They are so patient and kind with our kids (and tough when needed) and they not only teach Taekwondo, but they help teach our kids valuable life skills.

My son Joseph has been a student of Mr. Lo's martial arts studio for many years. It is a great environment for kids of all ages teaching kids good manners, self control/restraint, self-discipline and self-defense. Mr. Lol is accompanied by a great assistant, Mr. Marco McAlpin. Grooming kids to achieve success by not giving up and giving 100% in a kid friendly environment.

We do not live in the area anymore, but my daughter attended Cutting Edge for many years. They were like a second family to us. They teach your children more than just how to punch and kick. They teach lifelong lessons that aide in making your child a good person and aware of their surroundings. They are truly invested in your child's success. I can't say enough good things about this school if there was an option for more stars I would definitely give it. This place is amazing. They are more than just a martial arts School they make you feel like family. They have helped my son through hard times emotionally and physically. They have even help him with his school work at times when I just didn't understand it. They are very supportive in every aspect of life. Woild definitely recommend them. My children love it there. Thank you Mr Lo and Mr Marco for being a amazing teacher and friend.

My kids have been going to Cuttimg Edge for years. In all the time they have gone to Cutting Edge I have always been pleased with the school and especially Master John Lo. Not only do good students attend this fantastic school but so do his own children. Master Lo cares deeply about his students on and off the mat in every aspect. He loves them all as if they were his own. His doors are always open to his students and their family. I can go on and on about the school and Master Lo in lots of positive ways. But the biggest things that it comes down to is Trust, Respect and Honesty that works both ways between all parties. If you are looking for an A+ Takewondo school for your children or yourself, I highly recommend Cutting Edge Martial Arts.

Mr. Marco & Mr. Lo are amazing. I highly recommend Cutting Edge! They put focus on the physical aspect & technique, but also take time each lesson to sit down & review different topics such as integrity, bullying, compassion, etc. I originally enrolled my son due to his short attention span & impulse control. When he is in class he is 100% focused, and since he has so much respect for Mr. Marco he doesn't want to disappoint out of class either. The entire team puts focus on helping the students to be successful & pushing them to achieve their goals. I'm so thankful we are part of the Cutting Edge family!!!!

Excellent training and great atmosphere for kids to learn and grow. I recommend this for both girls and boys.
