I was just there this afternoon June 20/ 2021. Santa the lady at the cash register was giving those flimsy plastic bags and the lady ahead of me got some few then when it was my turn, voluntarily she gave me one, did not have to ask her, but it's not enough so I asked her for more as I had grocery worth $15.00 and need more bags, but she said no. The guy after me got also some few he did not have to pay for it and he even gave me one of his. This Santa lady is not a nice or kind lady. I wanted to remind her that a week ago I shared the big marble cake I bought there and shared it with her and the other girl. I did it because I am nice and kind. But to ask one more of that thin plastic she told me NO! I called her when I got home to let her know I was the nice lady who bought the big cake and shared it with her, she said she doesn't have anymore of the plastic bags, but the guy behind me got some few. She lied.My husband and I have been Curry's customers when they were still at Fremont Street near highway 99 and love to shop in their warehouse.

I have been going to Curry's since I was like 4 or 5 years old. It was always a treat to go because the candy isle was always like 10 for $1. It's moved 2 different times since I was little but I've been coming to this one as often as I get a chance. 90% of the items in here are damaged or expired - that's why you're getting everything DIRT cheap. No, it is not a clean grocery store by any means.. It's a warehouse where stuff gets dumped off before they get rid of it (I'm assuming). You'll find mostly canned foods, chips/crackers, cereals, huge variety of drinks (canned and bottles), gum/candy, and just random boxed foods. They have more but that's the majority of it. About 1/3 of the items are on tables, a bit organized, and then 2/3 just in a TON of boxes. This is not a place I come to go grocery shopping but I always come because I know I'll find cereal and canned stuff WAY cheaper than the store. Last year I found 12packs of La Croix, flavored sparkling waters, for a freakin' DOLLAR. $1. They were only there because there was a typo on the box. Here's the end of this! I just went in today and spent $15.50 and got the following (none of the items below were expired. The cans and boxes were dented though):10 cans of flavored sparkling water4 different flavored boxes of Triscuits 2 boxes Thai noodles4 boxes of organic cerealFamily size Wheat ThinsBox of RitzBox of Cheez-Its4 cans of Trader Joes coconut milkCashew milkOrville popcornBox of fruit snacksI can't tell you exactly how much that would cost at a grocery store but I would have to assume at LEAST $40. So.... If you don't mind looking through a bunch of bent boxes or dented cans to get things for like 1/5 of the regular price then this place is amazing :)

I used to love Curry's, and I want so much to love it once more. When I first discovered this hidden treasure, their selection was amazing. There were shelves of neatly stacked items in the middle of the store. Most products were not expired, and everything was cheap. Since then, and it has only been close to two years, everything has changed. Most products are expired, and prices have gone way up. It's comparable to a normal grocery store. What's worse is that you are overcharged at the checkout lane.I leave you with a tip: Bring cash if you feel your purchase will be small, because all debit and credit card transaction must be a minimum of ten dollars.

This is a great place to find cheap stuff. You just have to be careful, they don't always take the expired items off the shelf. They have another store on Waterloo that is much smaller, but has great stuff too. They have been in several locations around Stockton.

Used to know it was a discount store but not any more. Many things are priced like you are shopping at Safeway or Raleys now. If you do find a good price on something it is likely to be a bait and switch anymore. this is the third time in a row they changed the prices at the register and always up(not an honest mistake). Anymore if you tell them the girls look at you like you're stupid for not being Hispanic. The way it is now may as well go to a regular store. You will pay the same and they will stand behind the quality. Also the price on the shelf is what you pay elsewhere, NOT at Currys anymore. When the old man had a hand in it it ran smooth and good, now it is run by contemptuous thieves.

I've been laggin on Yelping lately. Maybe if i didn't I'd have more fans by now.Now dat dat's out the way, Curry's is great fo da po folks like me.If you wanna go to the movies, and get a whole bunch of candy, Curry's is the place. Not the 99cent store, Curry's. they don't do the 2 for a dollah thing; more like "did you bring your garbage bag fo a dollah" thing. They used to be located out on the east side of town by 99, but now they've relocated to another weird location, with an even more weird enterance.. While it's addy is off of Bianchi, you gotta actually enter through Clowes St, which is a little road after you come from West Ln, to the right....i'm writing this review from my ma's house, and my dad yelling from the top of his lungs again at someone on the phone (usual behavior [reason i moved out])...w/ dat out the way...at dis location, dey sell furniture as well...going along with the weird motif. And they have produce here now....so basically, if ya po' and weird, this place is marinating in both. Why a five star rating? because I need razors ($4 @ the store), but I want limes and a bag o M&M's...i have 2 bucks; I buy them all for 2 bucks - oh look. A bag of imported chocolate dat's not melted over... 50 cents you say?; I buy it ALL for $2.00...dat's two Whoppers in 1996, or 2 orders of chicken nuggests @ Wendy's (which I don't go anymore because of the overwhelming 2nd-hand-two-day-old greeze smell when you enter, and the stomach cramps when you leave). Wait a minute! Aunt Louise is gettting married again this saturday? oh look...a pair of porcelain turtledoves, like the ones you see in Home Alone 2. for 20 cents you say?... and Jojo's graduating too? oh look...a 10 cent napkin dat says "happy graduation" on it, which can double as a greeting card, and something to wipe many drops of warm tears with...So you see Curry's is the place to go for all events.dad still yelling, kids dying to get dropped off, and i'm done with this review...lines are now open for new fans, compliments, and/or UFC marks.arrigato thanx grazie okun gracias che che

It's been about 3 years since I've last visited this place. Not much has changed, the candy bars used to be 3/1$, now they're 2/1$ which kinda sucks but it's whatever. I think most people confuse best by date with expiration date. They're 2 completely different things, so no, most stuff here isn't past the "expiration date". Just bought 80$ worth of stuff here for 38$. A thing worth mentioning is that sometimes they charge you dishonestly at checkout. I put 2 boxes of sparkling water in my shopping cart bc a sign was marketing 2 BOXES for 1$ but at checkout it was 2 INDIVIDUAL bottles for 1$. Which came up ringing to 12$ for both boxes. You have to keep an eye out for what they charge you at checkout, sometimes they charge you more and most of the times they refuse to change the price or fix their signs
