Cruiser Haven Marina

The new ownership of Cruiser Haven Marina is A+. The previous ownership was piece of trash. The new owner, Richard, is a really nice guy and has already put sooooo much work into improving the Marina and has much more planned ahead. I would and have recommended Cruiser Marina and their boat storage and services to many people that enjoy the Delta but tow and launch each time from Livermore, etc. Richard has some big goals and work planned for the Marina. Wish him all the best with it.

Great location! Access to fast water is minutes away. And docks are sheltered from passing boats and wind. Site is safe and secure. Absolutely the most helpful and best service ever. Rich and team are doing an amazing job to revitalize the marina and surroundings. Been here a year and it's been great to see the progress and to be helped by the Cruiser Haven team. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful place to dock your boat or just hang out on the dock . The staff here is very helpful and go out their way to assist you in any way. There are also electric and water use for your convenience . I love this place because its a little more private than the average marina with the beautiful scenery. I will recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to find their Boat a home.

Signing a rental agreement this week, nice People and well ran Facility not sure what other ppl are saying about the place. Excellent location for boating and fishing with Orewood Resort down and around the corner for fuel what more can you ask for, If you want more pay more!

New ownership has really upgraded (still upgrading) this very nice secluded marina, quiet, great fishing!!! Harbor master is on top of everything. Great Ca. Delta location to get to some of the best fishing in the Delta.

My wife and I stayed in the rental home at the Holland Riverside marina and it was AWESOME! I can hardly say more than awesome but I will anyway. A house in the water with enough room for the Brady bunch with a lot of class.Well, we will be back and may be buying and renting a space there or Cruiser Haven but not sure yet.Some people posted bad things about Cruiser but it sounds like bitter souls, who knows. Most people say they are both great but Cruiser is not a pass-through and is on the fast water so it really does sound great so far. Looking forward to playing in the water out there!We were even given a tour by the owners and they showed us all the upgrades that have been done as well as what is in the works.That is some great customer service if you ask me so I am not sure what is up with the others but I was happy and will be making it a part-time home soon.

This place is the pits. My very dear friends have been here since shortly after the new owners, Kevin & Sean, took over. The marina is not at all maintained and is falling apart. The location is fabulous... right off of fast water and in a wonderful protected cove that offers spectacular sunsets. I had visited many times before purchasing a boat of my own. I was perfectly willing to pay an additional fee to use a slip with their hydro hoist. However, when Kevin called and said a previous tenant was selling his hoist and asked me to please not tell his wife Sean that he shared this with me, I began to be concerned as to why I should keep secrets between a husband and wife. The wife then explained to me that I would have to pay for the slip that occupied the hoist I was purchasing until I had a company relocate it... THEN I would also need to start paying for the slip that I was going to put my hoist in. Cha ching. She came up with a move-in price of nearly $600. I moved my boat to Discovery Bay Yacht Harbor (for only $20 more per month) exactly 8 days after I bought my boat. She sent me a final billing for $260 and held the hoist I was purchasing hostage until I paid her. The slip rate was $150 per month and the hoist rental was $85 per month. How do you charge someone that much for a week and still sleep at night. Unfortunately that little deal cost them three other slips as my friends promptly gave notice and have moved to Discovery Bay as well. Hopefully this marina will go out of business and someone else will acquire it and allow it to see the great potential that is has to offer... in the mean time I have renamed it "LOSER HAVEN MARINA" and feel sorry for anyone who is stuck there dealing with the two most greedy, deceitful and incompetent people I have personally ever dealt with.

I once gave this Marina really high marks, but sadly this Marina has gone downhill, no maintenance or care has been put into this Marina. Not even toilet paper in the bathrooms and some really sketchy shenanigans happening here. It seems more like a drug haven then cruiser haven.

I don't know what the problem is for the negative reviewers. I have been in the marina since May of 2011 and find the place and the owner very agreeable. The response to my quries is quick and I have been allowed to make imporvements or have the management make imporvements to my berth with no problems. I have had not problems with "money grabbing" and have not been charged for anything except the my slip fee to which I agreed when I signed my lease. I have about 10 friends and there boats with me here in Cruiser Haven Marina - most arrived in 2011 - and they all argee that this place is great. The owner is working on slip renovation to accomodate others I know of. We are happy with our berth, the facilities, and the management.
