Easily the best facility and trainers in all of Stockton and Lodi. I pass 3 CrossFit gyms in Lodi to get to this one.

I have been crossfitting for over 4 years and have visited approximately 20 Boxes across the country. Crossfit 209 is one of the top Crossfit gyms around. Why? Stay with me:Facility - The 209 building is one of the biggest facilities I have ever seen. They have several racks, a separate rope climb section, indoor track for runs and 20 or so rowers and bikes. I can go on and on! No shortage of equipment. Lastly, the place is very clean! Coaching - The coach for my 9am class today was knowledgable, energetic and communicated well. He worked just as well with the veteran members as he did with the newbies. I'm not an expert by any stretch, but all of his teaching methods were sound and consistent with crossfitting best practices, to the best of my knowledge. Crossfit 209 is setting the bar for Crossfit Boxes in the 209 area code and beyond. Good work guys, keep up the good work!

Today was my trial workout with one of the trainers, Sarah, and 3 regular clients. I went in with the normal "first day of school-like" jitters: anxious, nervous, excited and scared all rolled up into one. Sarah was really friendly, and inviting so It kinda took some edge off. She made sure to introduce me to the regulars which also helped me feel welcomed. This is a different type of clientele from some of the stkn, In-shape/24 hr fitness, $30-$40 a month paying customers. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and alot of times you see women walking around with makeup, earrings, and revealing workout clothes. Men are in groups gawking at most of the time. I get unmotivated by these distractions and want a more outlined, intense workout with other people who want the same. The 3 regulars I met tonight were just that type: friendly, motivating me while i was working out and congratulating me After. Ok sounds corny to some but to me that's camaraderie (must be my military background kicking in...but I like that stuff!). The workout: an hr of constant cross-training type stuff: sprints, rope climbing, sit ups, jumping on boxes off and on, jump ropes, rowing, etc. I'm sure all of these have names but im so tired I can't remember. It ain't easy let me tell ya, but I know it's going to be fulfilling. I'm thinking 3-4 days a week and throw in some in-shape days. My trainer today pushed me to finish but wasn't overly pushy. She knew when I looked like I was seriously pooped and needed to stop. For my military brothers and sisters, I was told they have a military discount (Woohoo I find out tomorrow). Overall First Impression: 5 starsTrial day workout routine: 5 starsStaff (only met one so far): 5 stars for her Price: ooooh find out tomorrow Try it out...can't hurt to see what they can offer you!

Crossfit 209 Sport is one of the best Crossfit affiliates I have ever been to. First of all, my boyfriend and I were in the area and wanted to visit, but I couldn't find much online (specific class times, price for drop-in, and a posted WOD). I emailed the first name listed on the trainer page, Gabe, with the expectation that I wouldn't hear back from him, especially since it was only an hour or two before I wanted to go in. Much to my surprise, I got an email back within the hour! Gabe answered my questions (Friday schedule for the remainder of the day was 9am, 12pm, 4pm, and there was no drop-in fee for visitors-- awesome!) and encouraged us to stop in. I was bummed that the WOD isn't posted anywhere beforehand, but I also understand and respect the methodology behind that decision.Upon getting to Crossfit 209, I found a guy who looked like he was in charge, who turned out to be Xavier (X). Xavier had us sign the liability waiver, and explained where the WOD and warmup were posted. My boyfriend and I walked over to the white board and saw a lot of terms we weren't familiar with. We were standing there for a minute or so when X came over and offered to go over it with us. I can't emphasize how much I appreciated that! He was proactive and determined to help us feel welcome at the gym. This really shouldn't be as rare as it is among affiliates! I was grateful and impressed, and it definitely helped set the tone for our workout. WOD turned out to be 5 RFT of 7 deadlifts, 7 hang cleans, 7 push presses, 7 lunges, and then 20 jumping lunges. We did a 1RM squat clean beforehand, and the trainers (Gabe and X) made it abundantly clear that good form was their highest priority, but that they still wanted us to push our limits. We saw a wide range of experience levels, but everyone seemed to be giving it their all. Overall, it was an outstanding environment to work out in. The level of attention and encouragement we received from the trainers was exceptional. The music was on-point, and the class was friendly. The only thing missing is a Crossfit 209 Sport mural to take a picture in front of! Overall, we loved this box, and can't wait to go back. If I lived in the area, there would be no question that this is the box I would want to be spending my time at.

Definitely an inspiring place. The team of coaches are very positive, encouraging, and motivating. I've been going for the last couple of months and hope this becomes an active lifestyle in keeping fit. It's nice that the workouts are always different. I enjoy that I can show up to the class and be in the class. In the past I've tried doing gym classes and I would have to show up an hour early to pick up a ticket and even that wasn't guaranteed. They offer a number of classes throughout the day which is great because there is no excuse for me to not go. If you're looking for a different workout, this place is it.

I'm so glad I signed up. Started about 3 weeks ago. Facility is amazing. It's huge with great training tools. Best part are the coaches. They have amazing positive attitudes. Very knowledgeable! My main fear was jumping in and hurting myself! They are constantly watching my form and correcting it. Also offer many substitute exercise to get my stronger to complete the real deal...... for example push up hand stands... which I doubt I'll ever be able to do. Great vibes and amazing staff. Can't wait to see my body change over the next year!!!! Slightly expensive but you pay for what you get and this is def worth every penny!!!!

Can't say enough about this place..Vince and Gabe are awesome...they put there clients first..they take the time to get to know each client.and make you feel welcome...yes you get pushed to workout but let's be real most of us would jump our butts off the treadmill without some sort of motivation...The gym is simple, your there top workout not watch sportscenter or Dr.Phil the folks working out cheer for you and always willing to go the extra mile. I trained with both Gabe and Vince for over a year and never felt better....CrossFit209 is best...they are there for you and your health...they don't pumped jesus down your throat and they are actual professionals at training ..in case you don't know any clown with a 1000 bucks can become a level 1 Cf trainer...that means nothing most are soccer moms that think it means something and others think it means they can open a gym and are expert's...sorry but not getting trained by a guy with a prison tatt on his stomach... The staff they know there trade....Gabe,Vince, X, Jo ...these men will always be there for you unlike other gyms in town you won't be just a number...

I want to start of with how I actually really liked the crossfit workouts. The coaches are motivating and very accommodating. However, it has been a rough few months for me and I haven't been able to go lately. I decided to cancel my membership with the hopes of returning once everything settles down. When I messaged the owner Gabe, I was being honest about why I had to cancel even if it's my right to keep my personal issues to myself. Seeing as I am the one paying, I feel like it's up to me to decide whether I want to terminate the service or not. Instead of respecting my decision to leave, I was met with passive aggressive behavior as seen in the screenshot below. Before committing to this, just take into consideration that you might be met with the same attitude when you want to terminate your membership.

This place is the best!!! All my grandchildren have been going here for years. They love Coach Vince and Coach Ryan. All the coaches are so respectful. I recommend talking to Coach Vince, he's amazing. After every workout he will say great job and high five them. He had a signing party for my oldest granddaughter and it was perfect. I recommend coming here.
