They are a great barn community who understand the sport of Endurance. If you are seeking to learn how to compete in endurance in a large barn with a lot of support then this is your place. They also offer summer camps and daily lessons for those just starting out but not ready for trail. Highly recommend.

Great barn. I've learned so much about endurance and horsemanship this past year. Although this is primarily an endurance focused barn, the instructors have a strong foundation in dressage and teach proper riding and safety. Samantha Ellis also helped me find and purchase a horse out of state. I am beyond happy with the horse she helped me purchase, who has blossomed in her training program.

RUN!!The owners (SHAWN BOWLING & LISA BOWLING) are beyond awful at holding their trainer (SAMANTHA ELLIS) accountable for anything. She constantly berated, talked down to and humiliated our daughter by having her do things that she would never ask any of the other girls to do. She even tried to sabotage one of the rides our daughter was on by intentionally withholding water from the horse she was riding (others took note of this also). And when brought to the owners attention (SHAWN BOWLING), he referred to it as a "mean girl" stunt. On the rare occasion that SAMANTHA ELLIS was actually called out on for her behavior, she would retaliate by taking it out on our other children. One time, she pushed two of our kids into the railing of the arena with a horse that she was on and when this was brought to the owners attention, they (SHAWN BOWLING & LISA BOWLING) said that they would talk with and "monitor" SAMANTHA ELLIS going forward for her irresponsible behavior; but that was a total joke. Because the incident of SAMANTHA ELLIS withholding water from our daughters horse, occurred AFTER this (the incident of her running our kids into the arena railing). There are way too many other barns around to risk or take a chance on a place who condones this type of behavior from one of their own trainers over and over. Especially when the trainers actions have been recorded via video, pictures and messages. The owners (SWAWN BOWLING & LISA BOWLING) are great talkers at making you believe that changes will be made...but it's just that. Talk. SHAWN BOWLING specifically stood right in-front of us and gave us his word that SAMANTHA ELLIS would stop with her "fits" and "tantrums"....but that was always short lived before she'd start again. They (SHAWN BOWLING & LISA BOWLING) also have a habit of shutting down the review option on their Facebook page and/or deleting reviews not in their favor. They even stoop to having their own children leave reviews just to try and boost their rating. When a company is constantly trying to cover something up, it's gotta make you wonder what they're really trying to hide. Also, we lived on this property for five months straight and the living conditions for the horses are absolutely disgusting and the worst I've seen compared to other barns in the area. The horses were constantly out of water and the owners ran out of food (hay) multiple times while we were there. There were a couple times that the horses just didn't get fed that day. Lastly, if you don't want anything stolen or "misplaced" stay clear. We actually got the trainer SAMANTHA ELLIS on recording admitting to stealing some of the clients belongs.
