Copper Cove Restaurant

This is a WONDERFUL and tasty place to go ! When they say "shrimp" they mean really large prawns !!!!! Not only is the food fantastic but the amazing ambiance and attentive and warm service can not be compared....we adore them. Come one and come all...you won't regret it !!!!

Last week, my boyfriend and I wanted to get some breakfast so we decided to try Copper Cove Restaurant. We got there around 10 am and breakfast is served until 11 am. Yazmin welcomed us at the door, told us to sit wherever we would like, and there were 2 other parties seated at tables. Really cute train themed decor (including a continuous model train close to the ceilings) throughout the place.I ordered a cup of coffee and Mi Rancho (chilaquiles with choice of red or green sauce, 2 eggs how you like them, refried pinto beans and Mexican rice) with red sauce (at Yazmin's recommendation) and sunny side up eggs. My boyfriend ordered a Coke and Pancake Combo with scrambled eggs and bacon extra crispy. And we split a side order of hashbrowns with country gravy on top.The coffee was hot, tasty, and the cup was filled when it was low. The chilaquiles with red sauce was so delicious!!! The flavor was pretty close to other chilaquiles I have had around the SF Bay Area. There was an ample amount of cilantro, cotija, and crema on top. Eggs were cooked as ordered, refried beans were satisfying, and the Mexican rice was better than most I have had over the years. I was very happy!Hashbrowns with country gravy hit the spot with the potatoes having some slight excess crispiness on the edges with the extra going home for leftovers (which reheated really well in the oven). My boyfriend very much enjoyed his pancakes and scrambled eggs. But he was not familiar with this particular thicker cut of bacon, which he was not a fan of, even though they did make it extra crispy as asked.I wouldn't mind having this chilaquiles with red sauce breakfast once a week if I could! It would be nice to try some of the lunch/ dinner offerings at some point. And Yazmin was so friendly, even with the locals that would stop on in throughout the morning, which always helps for a good experience. Copper Cove Restaurant is truly a gem for Copperopolis.

Have you ever wanted the opportunity to buy a $1,200 hand carved peacock table? Or a fancy bench? you can do that here. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of them but TRUST they have artisan furniture here for the low. This is a standard breakfast place. I ate the breakfast burrito. Also if you order a hard boiled egg it will take 10 minutes. I think they serve lunch and dinner too. This restaurant is exactly what you expect it to be. See attached photos

went here with my former roomate, and fellow yelp elite. we had a great time. we caught up, talked about our lives, and experienced euphoria and nostalgia all at once while watching the horse races on the tv here. no music in the place. a beautiful set of unique furniture for sale inside, that i regretfully forgot to take a picture of... the place is quaint. Train photos in picture frames. Menu is vast. a great selection of your favorite breakfast options. We came for breakfast. we ordered many items to try. it was a great experience. service was good. Bacon was a little scary. that's all. Thank you

We originally saw the bar next door on our search. The photos looked good, but turns out they weren't serving food so they told us to check out this place. We were the last customers, but thank goodness they were open. We were starving. The waiter was kind and patient with us. He made sure to inform what infused wings were, no sauce, and that there's no way to get rid of the heat. "Bring it on!" We said. Then when the last avocado was too firm, they let us know and asked if we preferred something else or if we wanted the avocado. We agreed on mushrooms and bacon. Soooo good. French fries were HOT and crispy. Burger was a decent size and cooked well. The wings were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I don't normally need/want ranch but it helped cool the heat. Love itttt. Lagunitas IPA to top it off in a frozen glass. Now all they gotta do is change the hospital lighting to something a little warmer. Voilà top notch.

Had lunch today - fly in the iced tea, sandwich was no bueno and husband got ill once we got home. Side was "coleslaw" - warm and made with what looked like kale. Disgusting. Side of mayo was discolored ...be careful! Negative star...

I had a great breakfast this morning...huevos rancheros! So fresh and tasty. The service was excellent!

Food came out hot and delicious! The service was on point! I ordered the chilaquiles verde (green) and I had the red ones last time both are seasoned to perfection. My husband had the eggs, bacon, sausage... simple but delicious. So far everything we've tried has been delicious.

Diamond in the rough.Delicious delicious! a must stop. The tortilla soup, burgers and tacos are so flavorful! Ample variety of menu items to satisfy anyone. Chatted with the owner who was out on the floor, super nice staff. I will absolutely be back.
