Cold Springs Golf & Country Club

A club I belong to recently held their annual dinner there. The banquet meal left a lot to be desired as the prime rib was way overcooked and tough. Also, the bartender made me one of the worst old fashion I've ever had.

Love this track, I'm not a member at this moment however I will be rejoining... this course gives you every look you could possibly need. Long 5's short 5's short 4's, long and short 3's. Elevated tee's elevated greens, elevated dog legs, and the consistently fastest greens in the area! Plus the food is great and the primary bar tender is a great person! If you play golf once a week or more this is the place to join!

THIS PLACE IS TRASH! Terrible customer service from the Pro Shop to the Bar and kitchen. The grass and greens were BURNT UP! The employees are rude and the food is disgusting. Save your money and dont buy a membership they will never let you out of the agreement and continually charge you dues. Take my advice and go to Cameron Park Country Club or Empire Ranch Country Club, better food, service and course maintenance.

My family has been a member at Cold Springs for 7 years. I learned to golf on this course. It is a very fun and unique layout that caters to all skill levels. It is one of the best values for a private club in the area. The people are extremely friendly, and it almost feels like a family. The scenery is beautiful, with very few homes surrounding the course, creeks running throughout, and a lot of wildlife. Being someone who likes to play golf every day, one benefit of Cold Springs is that they only close 9 holes until 2 on Mondays. Typically country clubs are closed completely down on Mondays to allow maintenance to do work. Another benefit is that there is never an issue getting a tee-time. You can go out on any afternoon that there isn't a tournament and get out easily without even making a time. Overall, Cold Springs is a beautiful place and I highly recommend it.

Great place to play and join. Best Country Club value going. 430 family proprietary memberships - getting a tee time not a concern. Course not surrounded by homes is a rariety these days! But don't take my word or anyone else's for that matter. Go play.

I love Cold Springs Golf Club! I've been a member for 7 years and find the course challenging , but fun! It is in great condition and our general manager has done a great job! Don't listen to negative comments from a few disenchanted people. There are always negative people in any organization. This club has wonderful, friendly people and is the best value in Northern California!

The course is in great shape even after the greens having been aerated three weeks ago. My only negative comment about the course itself is the fact it's too short, even playing from the tips. Pro shop staff were great and were very helpful. Driving range balls could use replacing. The majority of the members I engaged with were nice, but as a single player, I would have appreciated the four some to allow me to play through or they pick up the pace as no one was in front of them. I will play again in the future.

Cold Springs is a golfing treasure in the foothills! The course is challenging, yet fun to play, the general manger and staff are friendly, helpful and fun to be around. We have been members for ten years, I was new to golf when we joined and have enjoyed the experience. As a woman, I must say that I have been on several committees and boards within the Cold Springs venue and I have never experienced any problems or rude behavior by the general manager or his staff. If you are looking for a golf club that is beautiful, surrounded by trees and wild life, replete with friendly members and an accommodating staff as well as being more reasonably priced than any other 18 hole course in the greater Sacramento area, this is the place for you.
