Clayton Coffee & Tea

While this company may not be huge, I would put Clayton's beans against any coffee company including Starbucks, Dutch Brothers, Peets Coffee. While I used to live in California I moved to Oregon, I still get my coffee shipped to me. The coffee is smooth and has a subtle finish. I have converted family in Canada. Thank you Clayton Coffee & tea.

Ever since we found this hidden gem I can never buy store bought coffee beans! Their beans are freshly roasted and all the blends we tried are great! The service here is beyond and so friendly. Highly recommend!

What a find!!!!! I mean they've only been here for over 30 years. It started out with a tremendous website that in fine detail explained each coffee along with the history of business. Walked in and received a warm welcome from Don ( roastmaster). What an honor to meet the owner and CEO Gretchen, she was so kind and had a wealth of information about espresso. She belongs on everyone's coffee table, I could spend hours listening to her...... awesome vibe and place you won't be disappointed..... coffee is life!!!!!!!!

I first tried a esspresso made from Clayton in Placerville where it was like no other I've had before. I've since baught my own esspresso maker and go through a finely ground 1 pound bag of their Esspresso Forte each month. Now spoiled I cannot be satisfied when I'm away from home. This is the best refinded coffee,esspresso and/or tea anywhere in the . Thank You for what you do .

Came into Clayton today with my girlfriend(1/07/25) and was immediately greeted. It was our first time here so they explained more about their business and the culture they bring to your home through the way of locally roasted coffee ! The lady explained the difference in different type of beans, the different elements of brewing and brewing process to make sure we knew we where getting the right bean for us! We ended up going with half pound of espresso forte and immediately tried it when we got home and it was amazing. They do have a cute little store front with all your brewing needs and also sell loose leaf tea can't wait to try the chai and matcha! Thank you Clayton !

This is a roastery and not a cafe, so this review is for the coffee. They currently supply the coffee for Camp Mather (the San Francisco Parks & Rec family camp) and it was phenomenal. I went into camp bringing my own coffee because I'd heard how bad it was and after the first morning I put it back in a box and didn't touch it because the coffee was so good there. I asked & they said this is the coffee this summer and I was blown away. I only wish they had beans to buy at camp on my way out! I will just have to be satisfied with buying online.
