If you want your bank account to be to be gouged and ripped off on a weekly basis; then sign right up! If you want your child to be severely hurt, then bring them on down to CBBA! Their biggest concern is their contract and how to make you honor it even though your child is intentionally hurt while the pastor and his daughter watch and cheer on the aggressor. My son 15, his opponent a 27 year old karate expert and the pastor's future son in law and his daughter's fiance and the only thing on their agenda on this tournament night was getting this future family member his next belt/rating. While they could care less that my husband hurried our son out of there to Urgent care from an illegal kicks to the kidney areas. They had the audacity to tell everyone that he left because our son was upset that he had lost. These people are suppose to be Christians, the pastor, his daughter and future son in law!!! We made several attempts to meet with them to voice our concerns and were canceled on. When finally being able to meet; the pastor was very arrogant and had been well versed legally on what to say and refused to let my son out of the contract and offered instead to put him into the kiddie program. Needless to say, almost 3 months later, they are still deducting $25 weekly and that's okay because, while they feel they got one over on another unsuspecting family, they didn't get one over on God. I hope you have enjoyed and continue to enjoy my weekly charity. My advice to anyone thinking about this place; do not sign their contract and if you do; DO NOT give them your credit/debit card or checking account for auto-withdrawal. If they insist, do yourself a favor and put it onto a prepaid credit card. You can walk-away from this contract; we found out too late and like I said I consider it our charity for the year but some of you may not be able to do that. It will cost him more in legal fees to try to take you to court than to collect his fee's or hire a collection agency. The pastor enjoyed reminding my husband that he was bound to the contract, however, we just found out that in order to be bound, the pastor and his daughter also need to be bound and when our son who is a minor was physically injured by an adult this voided the contract. They failed to uphold their promise on the contract to ensure our son's safety. We have been to other professionally well run karate programs that my son has truly enjoyed and we were hoping to continue this experience at CBBA as we relocated to the area; but this was a serious mistake; to all who are considering CBBA, this is a warning of caution before you decide to enroll your child.

What a disappointment. Prepaid for classes, daughter went to two, but now I need more money for her to finish out the rest of her classes? They also won't honor what they put in writing regarding make up classes. The funniest part is that after two classes, they said she was ready for the upcoming tournament and it costs more money. This place is just a money grab.

Althought the Taekwoondo is primary, they are offer addition Music and Dance class. My kid learn Piano and Dance here 4 months ago and they just know the general. The teacher here are not professional, they are family business. They tied me up with the 6 moths contract, and force my kid to participate the Recital on Christmast. My kid do not want to attend the Recital, because they are not feel comfident and nervous on the stage. But Mrs.Trinity said that is the requirement of program, and we have to pay the expensive fee for the Recital. If I do not let my kid to attend , they will kick my kid out the Academy and charge $450.00 for the cancelation fee. I so disappointed and sad, they did not tell me when I signed up for kid to their program. They are cheating and drip off, they open many events to clean up the parent's pocket by taking the participant fee, tickets, etc...Be aware with the Christian Black Belt Academy!!!
