Ensure that you have adequate dental insurance before biting into these petrified sweet and sour pork pieces.
Weird flavored chicken mystery reminesent of chicken pot pie anyone?
I could sharpen this garlic bread chicken skin into a prison shank or a digging tool to carve my way out.

The China Express Deli at Food 4 Less (March Lane!) is my go-to place for ordering large party trays for celebrations/big events or a small party tray for a family meal with some leftovers for the following day. The portions are extremely generous and a better value than at other Chinese restaurants, where portions can be smaller, pricer, and at times not as delicious. Grabbing a combo box on the way back from school is was a snack and meal all in one go (chow mein, fried rice, broccoli beef, and some veggie medley for the win). Also, remember, this is a deli so don't expect the same selection of items but there is a whole lot to pick from. When ordering, going in person is the best method for me - even for large party trays - since communication is better in person and I always have a few items to pick up while I'm there. The chicken chow mein, house fried rice, chicken fried rice, and Singapore noodles are the items my family usually orders. As with any place, there are some menu items that are a hit or a miss depending on personal taste or which chef is cooking (pay attention to who is cooking because the chef matters a lot and we finally identified the chef we prefer so we try ordering when he's working). Consistency is difficult to master and during my last visit, I ordered 2 regular orders and one small party tray. Two of the three items were delicious while the small party tray of chicken chow mein was loaded with chicken but the noodles were pale and a little too salty. However, being it was a meal run outside of my usual time ordering so the chef was one I didn't recognize. The salty noodles were saved at home after using the trick to rinse a part of the noodles off and mixing it back with a quick pan fry so it all worked out! I totally will continue ordering from this deli.

If you want a lot of food quickly and in the cheap then stop by here. It's in the food 4 Less and most people just grab it on the way out it's not great but you can't really say anything bad about it either. It's exactly what is sounds like, Chinese food that you get quickly.

Garlic fried chicken hard enough to sharpen into prison shanks or hard enough to max out your yearly dental plan allowance if you're stupid enough to try to eat a leg- better not have loose fillings. Kong Pao chicken? Uhhh maybe something more closely related to a chicken pot pie and a salty country gravy? Beef and broccoli?....Dude, where's my beef? Chowmein? Try your luck on the frozen microwave version "Chowman", on sale 2 for $3.99 $29 I paid, paid for the inspiration for this Yelp and the gratification of daydreaming of saving your dinner. And from destroying your filling/teeth. Your welcome.

The food is very good and affordable. They still pile on the food in your take out box (before, like everything else, the serving size was even bigger!) The ladies there are always so nice and efficient. Good place to grab some good Chinese food to go!

I mean....the aunties are nice there. There's just no passion in the cooking. The portions are huge, but the food is bland. Eat there if you're hangry.

We ordered the family dinner for 4 last night and I can honestly say it was a waste of my money. Everything tasted horrible. Please taste your guys food before having people come and order it. Noodles were not good(not enough soy sauce), chicken wings were over cooked, sweet&sour pork can break someone's tooth. All I can say is please fix your guys flavor for your food...hopefully China express reads this review and do something about their menu.

I woke up today and decided to get some Chinese food I ended up in this particular one, Biggest mistake I've made! not only was it expensive asl the food had zero flavor. I got garlic chicken and it felt like I bit concrete the chow mein had no flavor. I also got some broccoli and beef they should change the name to broccoli and some beef cus that what I got. I will never spend my hard earned money on this ever again. If you want some Chinese food I suggest you go elsewhere

My wife stopped by this place to get a quick dinner. She ordered the beef and broccoli and mushroom chicken dinners with egg rolls and fried chicken on the side. Once she got home we were starving and couldn't wait to dig in. What a disappointment. Actually that's an understatement. It was literally inedible. The chicken was so overcooked it was nothing but bone and skin. The meat was cooked to leather. It was the worst I've ever eaten and I'm not being hyperbolic. The egg rolls were so soggy and soaked with oil that they folded in half when picked up off the plate. The chicken and mushrooms tasted like the chicken was literally rotten. A sour flavor that had a horrible smell when lifted to the nose. Now we're not the type of customers who return food but in this particular instance we did. It should never have left the restaurant. The manager asked us to return the food and we would be refunded our money. Once we arrived the manager was nowhere to be found. We had to explain again why we were returning the food. After treating us like we were somehow trying to scam them we were given our $32+ bucks back. The lady behind the counter kept repeating two egg rolls missing, two egg rolls missing. Yeah because we tossed them. Everything else including the chicken bone was returned. Overall it was a terrible experience. I will never ever go to this place again. Something isn't right when food so sub par is allowed to be sold to the public. Nasty, just . Oh and the broccoli in the beef and broccoli was literally yellow. As if they took the old rotten veggies out of the produce bin. Recommend you avoid at all costs.
