We had been waiting like 2 years for Chicken Ranch to open and we were finally able to visit today! Smoking is not allowed inside, so it was nice not to have to walk through a cloud of smoke. We took our daughter straight to the arcade where they had lots of different games and great prizes - staff was super nice too! It was super clean inside with lots of hand sanitizer stations throughout. The casino is massive with a hotel and a parking garage. I saw a huge bar in the middle of the casino and even a sports bar! They had different restaurants like Wahlburgers as well! We didn't visit everything so I'm sure there was much more to see! We gambled on the slot machines, but only one of us took home money unfortunately.Casino was clean and spacious and we'll definitely be back! Not sure if I like it better than Black Oak that is 30 minutes the other way, but it's definitely a nice change of scenery! We'll be back soon!

So nice to go to a smoke-free casino! We went opening weekend in July 2024 and the air conditioning was broken. With the high ceilings and large windows, the place was roasting. I'm sure it was remedied, but it wasn't a great look for debuting a new resort. The table games were good, and there are a lot of slot machines.

I can't in good conscience give a 5 star review as we only stayed for maybe an hour and stayed near the penny machines. It's a huge new casino and you can't miss it. Parking seems sufficient. You walk in and it's bright and airy. Ceilings are so tall. So many windows all around and I'm not used to that for a casino. It was nice. Seems well ventilated and I don't think they allow smoking because my nose wasn't assaulted with cigarette smoke or remnants of such. So bright and spacious. Ground floor seems like resort check in's and a few shops. Also a very clean and well stocked bathroom. Took the escalators to the second floor which is where all the fun is. There were 4 of us and none of us are big gamblers. $20 on the penny machines is enough of a loss for us..hahahaha! However, there was a gentleman directly behind us whom stated he put in $13 and he his the jackpot ($17k) while we were there. I have never witnessed anyone win that much. It was exciting. Who wasn't excited were the attendants who were first to the scene. I nor my sister in law could figure out what all the eye rolling was about nor could I hear what she was saying to her coworker. If I were to hit a jackpot please don't come to me with a stank attitude. Not that it would matter just run me my monies...lol! We didn't even walk the entirety of the floor to look around. We each lost like $20 and we were on to the next. We are very much "you got to be in it to win it" but we aren't believers in we gotta lose thousands to know when it's time for us to walk..ha!

This was our 3rd trip since the Chicken Ranch reopened. The new building is much nicer and offers more amenities. This was the first time we stayed in the hotel. VERY NICE! The room was large, very well furnished, huge 65" tv, and a balcony! The best part was this was a comp. This has become our go to casino. I highly recommend it.

PARKING: they have a south and north garage. I parked on the third floor of the north garage and was able to walk in easily and take an escalator down to the casino floor area. INSIDE everything is brand new with a quirky chicken alien theme with photos of chickens on the walls that look AI. The casino floor isn't super big, but it gets the job done. There are 4 levels. First is the lobby check in. Second is the casino. Third are conference ballrooms. Fourth is the rooftop pool and live concert outdoor area. There's a hot tub too. Nice view. They have a couple different eating options like Wahlburgers by Mark Wahlburg and his family. Coffee place on the first floor. 209 is more of an American sit down restaurant. There is a smoking outdoor patio.

This is actually the new address 9100 People of the Mountain RdJamestown, CA 95327United StatesAnd if you want to get more accurate, these are the coordinates37.92750° N, 120.44698° WThe new casino here at chicken Ranch is amazing. The old casino used to be 18 and up well part of it was but this new casino is only 21 and up, but children are allowed to be at the restaurants and the coffee shop and downstairs at the lobby, they will be opening up a arcade for kids, which is gonna be so much fun.Everybody is really nice here and valet is really accommodating. Highly recommend checking out the gift shop.

Hey, this new place is non-smoking, and I'm thrilled about that. Made the experience so much better. Went on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded. Very enjoyable. Only issue is the air conditioning is turned down and it was actually too cold in certain areas. Ate at the 209 Sports Bar and Grill. Good experience. I had the Chickpea sandwich which is a fried falafel. I had the grilled Brussel sprouts with it. Good sandwich. My wife had the chicken cordon blue panini. She liked it but said that it had too much ham on it. Fries were good. Our friends had the Caesar salad and steak salad. They both really liked them. It's still new and the employees are learning. I had a good time and would not hesitate to go back.

I have been coming here for a few months. It was promised that we would get free play every month. Their machines are so tight. I have only seen maybe 3 hand pays in the at least 10 times I have gone.Went to the grand opening and got a free T-shirt but then lost $400 within 20 minutes. That is unacceptable. The only reason they are getting a one star is because of the extremely nice employees. I'm not coming back ever!!!!!!!!

The wife suckered me into to coming here a few times and have left pissed every time. Final straw was today. 3 of 4 machines not even a line pay. Had hoped that their grand opening would allow some return of what I lost in the past. No luck, lost over 400 in 20 minutes and have vowed to never come back. Only plus side to this place is that it is smoke free and you don't leave smelling like an ashtray. Downside of course is horrid payouts.

Place is new, looks nice inside. Staff is friendlyMy BIGGEST complaint - YOU CAN'T SLEEP IN THE ROOMS BECAUSE THE SMOKE DETECTOR LIGHT FLASHING EVERY 30 seconds. How does this resort expect ANYBODY to be able to sleep when you have a bright strobe flashing in what is supposed to be a dark room? Worst yet, you call the front desk at 4am to have the issue addressed and there wasn't anybody on staff who could do anything about it. thenext morning when I was assured the manager on duty would address my issue, nothing was ever done. No manager, no call, no email - nothing. LOOSEN up those slots. There is no d*mn good reason why the 5 people I was with only came away with a handful of wins on slots across 7 hours of play. I also heard the same complaint from other players on the game floor that their wins were few & far in between. I don't expect to walk away from this place rich or in profit by any means as I am fully aware this IS a casino, but after a night of play - this place just felt like a giant rip off. According to CA state law , slot machines must pay out between 80 percent and 100 percent over the lifetime of the machine, and well I don't feel like this place is following that law at all. All 5 family members got skunked on this trip vs a Vegas trip that gave us more wins than this place did less than 3 weeks ago.45+ minute wait for food at 209 Eats. 45 minute wait for food for TWLV - Front of house staff was VERY nice and courteous - the kitchen staff is the common denominator here - perhaps they are going through growing pains still but 45+ minutes is way, way to long to wait after ordering.THE TERRIBLE AI ART this place has on the wall. I find it hard to believe this place could not find any local artists to fill the spaces on their walls. Whomever selected or created these pieces did not do ANY kind of quality check on what the AI put out. the 4th floor image of the woman with the egg on her eye and you couldn't see the image artifacts from the AI process? With all the money this place generates, I am pretty dang sure they could afford to get local art (heck, even non AI art would do) on the walls.Look - overall, not a bad experience but I will not be back UNTIL this place FIXES THE SMOKE DETECTOR ISSUE & loosens up the slot machines/increases the wins.this whole experience just angered me beyond belief. NOT COOL.
