Chefanelli's

They just did a big catering for our work. 7/2024 all workers were all miss matched, wearing whatever they wanted ( did not look professional) they ran out of certain types of food and cut it supper close on the hot items. I saw that a lot of people were not eating and if they did im sure they would have ran out. Food was OK, nothing to run home about. Some of the bowls still had the stickers on them as they just bought them, not small stickers, big stickers very noticeable.

Emailed Mark on Oct. 9th to cater a company luncheon for 20 people on Oct. 30th. Everything was confirmed. The morning of, I called him just to make sure all was well. Didn't reached anyone so left a message to confirm delivery. 1/2 hours before my event, I received a call from a lady to say Mark had been sick so we would not be getting any food. Half an hour before my event started? Come on... you've got to be kidding me! It's been 3 weeks now and not a single email or phone call from Mark to apologize for not following through. Needless to say, Chefanelli's has been taken off my list of caterers for our company luncheons.

Mark and his team are absolutely wonderful to work with. I work for a nonprofit and they catered a three-weekend training for us in Merced, as well as a community dinner in Fresno. Mark is kind and communicative and he worked closely with me to meet our group's diverse dietary needs. Our training participants appreciated the warm, comforting meals that made them feel taken care of. Mark and his team took care of absolutely everything -- set-up, utensils, drinks, and clean-up, so that we could focus on our busy training days. I highly recommend Chefanelli's and hope to work with them again.

Hot food was tasty. Cold foods were luke warm and salad was wilted(54 degrees that day outside so not hot). Ordered for 110 people. Barely enough food to serve the 105 that showed. Service was horrible as it was over an hour late and phone calls to check on it went unanswered. Charged fees for delivery and pick up. We agreed on pick up time but they picked up more than 4 hours late. Unreliable. Would not recommend

I absolutely love Chefanelli's Catering!! Mark has catered two weddings in my family and he and his team have always provided excellent service. I really appreciate how Mark will go out of his way to take care of every detail. The food was amazing we received so many compliments each time. Thank you Mark for going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my daughter's wedding reception was perfect. A+

We have used Chefanelli's for events at work and also used him for my wedding. His food is delicious and well priced and his employees are very well trained. We got so many compliments from that night on the dinner and he is my go to recommendation for catering. A+

Seems disorganized and unreliable. I contacted Chefanelli's to possibly cater for my wedding in the fall. I left a message and recieved a call back the next day. We scheduled a tasting and paperwork meeting for later that week. Mark text me a couple hours before the appointment that he could not make it. I confirmed to reschedule the next day at the same time. I didn't get a text back.The next day he text me an hour before the appointment that he firgot to push send and the appointment didn't work for him. He has some questions about the food then rescheduled again for Monday. I text that the day worked fine; he didn't confirm a time. Monday rolls by, no contact. I wouldn't trust him with handling my wedding. Two stars because I didn't actually get to try the food. Might be delicious...

Mark told us his crew would be at wedding reception at 1pm they didn't show up until 3:20. Reception dinner was supposed to serve at 5:30 and mark pulled up with cold food at 5:35 and started serving. My daughter and new son in law were the first served and told me there food was cold. And eight others mentioned food tastes good but should have been hot. I was embarrassed. Food should've been there early so it could heat in chafing dishes which I had to tell his crew to light. Father of the bride shouldn't have to deal with this. I made a call to mark to Express my thoughts left message but recieved no call back also text Mark with no response. So he left me no choice but to post a review.

Chefanelli's catered my fundraiser at Pageo Lavender Farms recently. They are wonderful to work with, their food is excellent, timely,professional and just a great group of people.I highly recommend them for any of your catering needs. Great job!!

Mark is the BEST! He is so sweet and accommodating. You can tell he loves what he does. He was in constant communication with us throughout planning. He provided a sit down dinner for our guests, it went smooth and it was delicious! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for catering. His prices are very reasonable! I would not hesitate to hire him again.
