My son loves his coaches. This is a great way for boys to learn and get mma training. We have to keep our boys strong for the future!

This is a great school. Let's start off with it's Charles Gracie from the famed Gracie Family. The instructors here are top notch. My daughter has gone there since the beginning of 2023. I highly recommend this school to anyone who's looking to join a Jiu-Jitsu school. I wish she didn't move away so she could have kept training there. I wish the school nothing but the best We had nothing but top notch experiences here definitely sign up and take classes here.

We have been with Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu academy in Tracy California for a year. My son is 10 years old and he's been training for over 5 years. The instruction is well structured to allow students of all ages to learn together quickly. Master Charles Gracie and coaches are professionals and they truly care for every student. This academy offers a first-class facility that's well lit, clean, and safe. I encourage everyone to give Jiu-Jitsu a try and to come to try it with the best! You can thank me later

Before I decided to write this review, I gave the bad reviews a once over because I couldn't figure out why this place doesn't have five stars. I read a few regarding some third party billing, which they haven't used in quite some time, paying for belt promotions, which I've never heard of (even in other martial arts schools we've attended), and some not agreeing with contract terms. Because I like this place so much, now I feel the need to make a few comments. If you're signing a contract, please read through it. Unforseen circumstances happen, but a contract is binding. And in this school, you are allowed to make up missed classes within the month. The instructors are pretty understanding here and I'm sure they will work with you to figure something out. My little girl loves coming here. The instructors are very attentive and encouraging. She has been coming here for almost a year now and has been loving it since day one. The place is very clean. I think they take pride on that and it shows. All of the staff are ready to assist customers and they offer a free introductory class for those who want to try it. Give this place a try! Oh, and Master Charles Gracie is around a lot so don't be late to class and come prepared! Don't be intimidated though because he's super friendly and always has a smile on his face. I think it's so cool that we attend a school that he frequents!

I absolutely love the staff here, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Everyone is so pleasant, professional, and patient. My son is extremely young to be starting Jiu-Jitsu; however, was ready for the challenge. Because of all the great instructors he is thriving and learning to have discipline, follow instructions, and work with others.Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and dedication to the students.

We were looking for Self defense/Martial Arts class for our 11 year old son that for the first time is experiencing some bullying at School so to build his self esteem and defend himself in case he needs to We wanted to sign him up! After looking around through internet search we came across Charles Gracie Jiu - Jitsu even though it had some less than favorable reviews we liked the video on Covid-19 protocols this academy was implementing ( Very impressive) so we showed up for their free session and meet with Ryan whom by the way was fantastic! Supper nice and absolutely NO pressure! Throughout the whole process! Our son reported he had a great time but expressed concern over NO mask being worn and during activity his mask was removed as he quickly but it back on !! we are extremely saddened and deeply disappointed as we write this review as follows:1. The Covid-19 Protocol that was shown on there website Video was extremely misleading and false! No temperature checks , only 1 person besides our son was wearing mask that we seen , no social distancing and even-though we stayed after class I did not see the cleaning protocol as shown on their website video! We are still in Covid and NOW delta variant and most kids are still unvaccinated but, Charles Gracie is acting like Pre-Covid times while this is indoors contact sport I thought this to be reckless! 2. If we wanted to join this academy: We live In Tracy Hills area and have money but, despite the fact we could pay Cash! Check or any other form of payment they still wanted us to sign a contract with (AAC) a 3rd party! Affiliated Acceptance Corporation (AAC) which had really BAD reviews , complaints with "BBB" and if you read these reviews and do your own investigation YOU BETTER GET YOURSELF PSYCHIATRIC HELP! If you still sign this what I and others call crooked contract from a crooked company! So unfortunately we give them 1 Star!

I just want to take a minute to write this review. Charles Gracie academy is a great place to build self confidence discipline and motivation in one of the most safest and cleanest environment you could ever want!!!! When you join Charles Gracie Jujitsu Academy you're not just signing up for a class but for a whole new outlook on life. I highly recommend it for everyone no matter what your age, size or gender is. I've been here for roughly 4 months and lost 15 pounds And never felt better about myself.

We relocated to Tracy last year and Decided to put my daughter into jiu jitsu one day to help her with school bullies in middle school and it was our best decision we made. My husband used to train awhile back at a different gym but immediately after having our daughter here at Charles Gracie he was ready to join this gym and get back on the mats then we enrolled my 5 year old, It's now a family affair !! The coaches are all amazing and we look forward to continue coming here and future competitions!

Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy has changed my life for the better in every aspect of life. Jiu-Jitsu has taught me discipline, structure, and the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have learned confidence, respect, and humility at the same time. The family atmosphere is what I admire the most about Charles Gracie Jiu-jitsu Academy. The instructors and team at the academy welcome all with open arms.
