Really great barn with a lot of wonderful people. I've had nothing but good experiences here with the training staff as well as fellow boarders. Started taking lessons here about two months ago, bought my first horse with the help of my trainer and looking for a second for my wife. We love this place, you won't find a better stable

I had a lesson with Kylie last Friday and it was great! Cerro Vista was easy to find and is a nice facility nestled in the vineyards of Livermore. Kylie made me feel very comfortable and I did not feel rushed to get things done as I have in the past with other lessons. Getting back into riding after 5 years, the lesson was not too slow or boring nor was it too much for me. I had a blast! She is also VERY affordable. Looking forward to continuing my lessons with Kylie and hopefully buying/boarding at Cerro Vista in the future.

I came here to rent a room through AirBNB initially, because I just sold my house and was in the process of purchasing a new one and could not take on a apartment lease however, 5 minutes after I unpacked my truck and settled in the owner's wife came in the hallway screaming who left the door open and came pounding on my door immediately yelling at me about the door. I told the woman screaming at me at the door that her husband left it open and I didn't even get a key for my room yet. I asked the lady to give me my money back because this isn't how you treat a customer. The wife then said why don't you pack your stuff and leave. This was the most horrible and unprofessional experience I have ever been through. Alan Cerro's wife was psycho. I would definitely never come to this place again.

It's been almost 3 years now for us with Ms. Kylie, and she has been an excellent trainer for our daughter. Very pleasant and provides a very positive reinforcements when kids make mistakes. She points those mistakes in a manner that kids correct the mistakes without breaking their confidence. She helped us bought a Pony (3-4 months process) - With significant patience she helped us find a right pony (vs. just making us buy something for the heck of it).Besides Kylie, Cerro Vista as a Ranch has been an excellent place for us. We have become part of extended Cerro Vista family and now truly feels part of this community. Nice boarding/lodging along with covered/open arenas and couple of pastures.. Overall a great Continued experience.

I have been boarding at this barn for apox. 3 years and I just love it. The facilities are great 2 round pens 2 arenas, heated wash rack, and fun schooling hunter/jumper shows in the summer. They feed the horses 3 times a day so there are no skinny horses in sight, and the owner and trainers on site are extremely helpful and easy to talk to. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an active fun barn.

I've been coming here for about 6 months. Kylie is an AMAZING trainer. She found the perfect horse for me and the improvement in her, after only a few months, is incredible. She is a very positive instructor, gives great feedback and encouragement, and also works very well with my 10 y.o.son, who is also taking lessons. Cerro Vista is a very well organized barn yet still family-friendly. I couldn't be happier.
