Still the best of the best preschool around. As a parent with a degree in early child education this is everything I hoped for and wanted for my child. Not only that but this school came highly recommended from not only parents but professors in the field of ECE. My daughter was happy and excited to go to school each day and loved her teachers. We will miss the teachers the classroom and the friends that we meet at the school!! Ms.Barb & Ms.Mel are simply THE BEST.

Great staff! The teachers truly love the kids, and are patient and warm. The parent community is really supportive and down to earth. We are Bay Area transplants and most of our friends here in Stockton have come from CMNS.

We love CMNS! Our oldest daughter is currently in her last year here (the 4's program). We started her in the 2's program and have loved each year. All of the teachers are great. The playground is age appropriate and our daughter has learned so much these past three years. They work on such fun projects each day. The kids are given jobs and weekly homework in the 4's class and our daughter loves it. They also offer after school care which is great - more time for kids to play outside and work on more projects. Our youngest daughter will start the 2's class this fall and I know she will love it. I can't recommend this school enough. The prices are extremely reasonable too.

I went to this preschool 25 or so years ago. I recently visited the place and it's as great as it was years ago if not much better! Unfortunately they are always booked because they run an excellent program.

I thank God everyday that I found this school for my son! I can't say enough good things about it. When I went to preview the school, what really sold me was the teachers. They are truly caring, great with the children, understand the student's development and needs, humorous and silly yet structured and firm, great communicators with the children and parents, and they make everything the kids do so special. Amazing! The class is very much structured like a kindergarten classroom with centers. There are always parent volunteers, so at least 3 adults in a classroom of 16 students. It is very affordable in the world of private preschools. My son is in Mrs. Kellie's and Mrs. Phylis' 3's class twice a week. He used to attend a different preschool and when I'd ask him about his day he would hardly mutter 2 words and tell me they did nothing. There were no expectations and in a matter of 6 months he brought home maybe 3 pieces of art work. Now that he is at CMNS he cannot wait to tell me everything he did in detail. They do fun projects everyday. His cubby is packed FULL everyday I pick him up with art projects and learning materials. My son sits in a designated spot and follow directions. He understands the rules. The kids are reminded to use the potty, wash their hands, use antibacterial gel before eating and before coming into the classroom. The school sends home newsletters on everything your child is doing and keep you very informed. CMNS is very hands on and gives the kids experiences that they will never forget. My son talks about school ALL THE TIME. I love this school and so does my son. He can hardly wait to go to his class twice a week. I have to admit, I was very hesitant to send my son to school in Stockton. I only wanted him in Lodi because I felt he was safer. Now, I feel bad that that was the one thing that held me back from finding this school sooner. CMNS comes highly recommended by me! I will definitely be sending my daughter to this school as well.

Good school. We liked it very much. But if you expect that once you are in you will continue to be there. You would be wrong. They do a lottery for enrollment each year. We got in for a 3 year old class. Didn't get picked for the 4s.... Oh well off to another school we go.

CMNS does not disappoint on the play based, hands on and age appropriate curriculum they advertise. My son loved his experience at CMNS (he was in the 2's, 3's and 4's programs). He is currently in kindergarten and was socially, emotionally and academically ready to tackle the demands of grade school. I also loved the welcoming atmosphere and caring staff. I am looking forward to enrolling my 9 month old in a few years!

We love CMNS! We recently returned to Stockton and are so happy Central had spots open for our twins in the three day pm class with Ms. Barb. My twins have very different personalities and she knows just how to work with both of them. She is incredibly patient, kind, loving, fun, and talented at what she does. My kids are so happy and love going to school. She is also especially great at teaching to the level of the child. While they are learning so much and preparing for Kindergarten, I love that this is a play-based, child-led school. I believe strongly in letting kids be kids and take on challenges when they are developmentally ready. This school allows them to do just that. With that in mind my kids have come home with a wealth of projects, activities and knowledge. I also love that CMNS encourages parents to volunteer in the classroom (but it is not required if you can't) and they even give you a tuition discount on the already affordable tuition. They have fun field trips and extra activities too. We are so happy here and can't say enough good things!
