Cassidy's Jewelry & Loan

I went to Cassidy's Jewelry and Loan. Even though I was not able to get what I was hoping for and decided against the loan, the man there was very professional. He told me that one set of jewelry I had was not white gold, but was silver. I wasn't happy to hear that, but it wasn't his fault the place I got it lied to me. Ok, so they don't deal in silver. Most pawn shops don't. He made me an unacceptable offer on a wedding set I have. Even though it wasn't as productive as I was hoping, he was very professional the whole time. I did see a good selection of gold jewelry there. When I'm in the market for gold jewelry, I will definitely check out his selection.

I stopped by Cassidy's while in Stockton on another errand just to look around, and I am very glad that I did. There is lots of beautiful jewelry here for what I consider to be very reasonable prices. I've been to many pawn shops before, and have had issues where I don't feel I am being taken seriously as a customer, not the case here at Cassidy's. The associates working here were more than happy to let me see and try anything I liked and gave me as much information as they knew of the pieces I was considering. Cassidy's will always have a place in my heart because here I found the rings I proposed to my partner with! I will be back again and again for all of my jewelry hunting desires because of the very helpful staff and the interesting and varied selection.

I go around town and try to leave good reviews at business, but these days it's really hard. With that being said, I walked in to this JEWELRY place. I seen all kinds of silver and gold. Anyway. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted at all. Mind you I was the ONLY customer in the building. I asked if they sold silver coins. The guy tells me no. I walk around a little more, and ask if they take silver out on loan. Im just getting a feeling to see if I want to do business with these people. The guy tells me, "we don't deal in silver at all, there's no value in it".....LMAO WHAAAAAAAAAT! A jewelry place that doesn't buy silver, but sells it. Wtf am am I missing here. I had $2500 in my pocket to spend on a new GOLD chain. I will never walk into that place again. What a bunch of idiots in my opinion. That was my first experience dealing with them. The first and LAST! How do you let money just walk out like that???

This is just the facts... I've been a loyal customer of Cassidy's Jewelry & Loan, on & off, since 1980 at the age of 18, before entering into the US Army. I've never allowed my loans to go over the 30 days to retrieve my property, in fact just 5 or 6 months ago I had pawned my Cannon 5Ds R, a pro level zoom lens, battery grip w/ 2 batteries. As usual, I paid the loan off within the 30 days and picked my photo equipment. Today I went into Cassidy's to get another loan for this same set up with one additional pro lens... as I walked up to the counter, the first agent said "we don't take those!". I informed him that I had it in just a few months earlier. He looked up the loan for $160, and said I would only get the same $160. I explained that I was adding another lens and needed $240... he responded "NO, only $160!". He referred me to talk to the one who had given me the loan a few months back, he also said "NO!". I then asked to talk with the owner, I was told "he won't give you any more than I'm offering you!" (I guess the owner has no authority in his own business?). I walked out saying to myself "I'll never come here again!!!!". over $5,200 worth of pro photo gear!!I drove straight to the Stockton Loan & Jewelry, where they said "no problem, I'll cover that amount ($240), but we need the charger, and I'll do it just for the body and the lens on it, you won't need the extra lens". I will now be coming to this business, since the one I've been coming to for 39 years doesn't want my business anymore!!!!Have a Great Holiday Stockton Loan & Jewelry!! You'll be my first choice from now on!

Great place, great people, definitely the best Shops I've been too. If you need quick loans this place is really helpful. No BS just right to the point. If your someone in need of quick cash this place is good. Also is a nice place to get jewelry for someone special.

went there to spend some money and the customer service was the worst ever der was one guy watching videos on his iPad and couldnt be bothered and its not the first time i experienced that. i will definitely not go der again. -F

Honest and fair. Love this place! They got me through the rough times as a single mom and now I enjoy shopping there. I can't say enough about their honesty and integrity! Fabulous people!

great place to go if you need a little extra cash! employees are very friendly and helpful. they also have a great selection of jewelry!
