WOW this place is gorgeous. Definitely the place to stop by for a tasting. $20 per tasting or the tasting is waived with the purchase of two bottles. The scenery is gorgeous and we love that it was dog friendly. They do tastings both inside and outside and they pizzas looked delicious! We'll be back to try them.Brittany helped us out and she was so nice and diligent in explaining the different wines we tasted. We will definitely be back for the next rotation :)

The location is probably one of my favorites, from the winery's I have visited In Sacramento. Had a girls weekend, and this was one of our stops. I did not like the white wines but the reds were amazing. The BUBBLY was one of the best I have ever had. It was so delicious. We got a charcuterie board. The goat cheese was my favorite thing. Very pretty. The figs were also delicious

This beautiful winery is away from the others, about 3 miles further from the cluster of wineries on Shenandoah Road. As you enter the tasting room, it's like walking into someone's home. Well, later on we found out it is the owner's home. High ceilings with wood beams across. An open kitchen with counter space and a large dining table next to it. Floor to ceiling windows/french doors brings incredible light to the space. Sigh - I want to live here! There are also outdoor seating and throughout the property, but we decided to stay inside and enjoy the gorgeous space. We tasted several wines. They are all phenomenal! My top choices are 2018 Grenache Blanc and 2017 Tempranillo, and I bought a bottle of each to take home. This is my first-time tasting Grenache Blanc at any winery or even heard of it. It's rich, buttery with cinnamon finish. I prefer this over pinot grigio. Tempranillo tasted like a Sangiovese that I like at another winery. It's a red grape that's indigenous to Spain with a nice finish. Matt (Manager) did a fantastic job explaining the history of the winery and each wine.I highly recommend visiting Casino Mine Ranch when you are in Amador. You need to call or reserve on their website in advance unless you are a member. They are currently open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Pretty new winery in the area. Lovely modern tasting room with open air feel that opens right up onto the patio.Currently the tasting room and patio are 21 and over only and not dog friendly, aside from service animals. However, once the garden area is open they will have a family friendly area serving food. Late spring they will also open up the pizza oven! Should be good!Portfolio tasting is $20/person, but is waived with the purchase of two bottles. Small meat/cheese plates are available for purchase - $24.While I think the tasting room is lovely, I feel like they're pricing for tasting and provisions (cheese plate was listed at $24- I was charged $30- and compared to Element 79, was much smaller!) leans more towards Napa pricing....and this isn't Napa! Most of the other tasting rooms I've visited in the area are at $10/person, waived with the purchase of a single bottle. There are some very nice wineries in this area that aren't charging as much.

This winery is way overpriced. I agree with the other comments remarking about the yuppie feel. $20 a tasting -- waived only for one person with the purchase of 2 bottles of overpriced wine. But it was the attitude and arrogance that turned me off. After ordering some light snacks and purchasing a bottle of overpriced wine, a women came from the back and with a snarky tone said, "the kitchen is now closed." The wine pourer was more interested in drinking wine with a customer than pouring. I think the folks running this forget they're are in Plymouth and not Napa. This caught me surprise -- then I read the label of the wine "Produced and bottled Napa, CaliforniQuite disappointed because they have such nice grounds to enjoy a bottle of wine. Note: there are many wineries with better wine that is more reasonably priced in the area. All without the attitude and arrogance.
