Carniceria La Rancherita

Ordered 1 pork tamale and 1 chile verde burrito. The masa in the tamale was raw and the masa to meat ratio was way off. More masa than meat. The chile verde burrito tasted like dry carnitas no chile verde taste at all. The rice was cooked well and beans were ok, but over all not very good.

5 stars! Great service, and friendly environment. This location has a large variety of foods, and fresh produce.

This place never has a cashier available to ring you up, it never fails. I don't know what their issue is but they never have someone ready to ring you up which is annoying. When they do get someone to ring you up they act all flustered like you're inconveniencing them lolThe meat selection is ok but you can tell some meats have been sitting there for some time and the people aren't friendly or welcoming.

I usually don't do this. But someone had to do it.. my coworkers and myself were feeling burritos, we thought we'd give a local business a try since we've been going to taco trucks and they didn't accept debit cards, so we ended up here.. To say the least, it would of been best if we took the extra time and went to the bank to pull cash instead. Our Carne asada burritos were terrible, the meat was so dry and salty it almost tasted like beef Jerky. We called the store and complained about the situation and we were told to return the burritos and they would give us fresh asada instead, even were accused of lying. Obviously we didn't have enough time in our lunch break to return the burritos so instead I'll express myself publicly. Never again

I travel to Turlock monthly, and I'm used to some amazing Mexican food back home. This is by far not only the best bang for your buck, but definitely the best Mexican food I've had in traveling here over the last several years. Solid carne asada and pastor, stellar beans and flour tortilla. Salsas and sides are on point as well. Definitely going back!

I'm from LA and must say they have one of the best carnitas I ever tasted!! And the Uchepos and champurrado is a must try!!

Wonderful place with great prices. We had lunch here today. Got the burrito that has three meats and three different chilies in it. Was so delicious. Only sold on Thursdays. You must come try it.

Honestly their tortas are ok, as far as the salsas they kinda tasted the same Torta barely had any meat But regardless the taco I had was good it was just weird that the tortilla itself was cold. Expected better but it is what it is

Really disliked the service. Everyone in the kitchen was really rude and I didn't like seeing a worker standing on top of the grill cleaning while all the debris fell on the grill top. Definitely not coming back!

Great meat counter here. I love their pre-chopped and marinated taco meat, I buy asada, pastor and chicken here regularly and it's all fresh and tasty. It's priced reasonably and all you have to do is cook it, makes for a fast and easy dinner. Their taqueria is also good.This is also a good place to pick up specialty Mexican spices /sauces but it's a little more expensive than the Mexican aisle at a regular grocery store, so I usually only buy packaged things here that I can't find anywhere else. They do have a small produce section but it's usually not super fresh. It's okay if I'm having tacos for dinner anyway and need a few limes and cilantro, but I wouldn't come here specifically for produce nor would I expect to get all my shopping done here. The meat counter and taqueria are the main draw. A really random side note - I don't know why but the sour cream they package and sell here is so delicious. So much better than the stuff from the store, Mexican brand crema or regular.
