Captain Joe's

This is one of the best deals in the city and tons of fun. Even when I lived in SF I always did this tour, and every time I visit I want to do it again. Awesome views, amazing value!!! I guarantee you'll have fun

I have fished with Captain Joe Nazar on a few different occasions. When salmon fishing was still possible (closed last year and this year), Captain Joe was good about putting our group on the fish. Whether it is trolling or mooching, his knowledge helped us not get skunked.I am looking forward to getting out and doing some livebait striper fishing with him this season. When the livebait (anchovies) start becoming plentiful, probably by June, I look forward to getting out with him.He will take group charters out with as few as 7 or 8 people during the week, which is great...lots of elbow room. He has rod/reel rental and terminal tackle onboard if you don't have your own equipment. His boat is berthed out of Fisherman's Wharf, and the nearest parking is in a garage about 5 blocks away (he does validate parking), you have a pretty long haul if you're loaded down with fish. Also, some of his deckhands are not the most cordial.

This was the highlight of our vacation. We planned to visit Alcatraz but ended up doing this tour instead. It was a good choice. We actually learned a lot about San Francisco. It was a lot of fun and I recommend it to everyone. The guys were hilarious and very fun to be around.

Great boat, great tour, great times. If you are looking for a great family one hour tour of the SF Bay this is your guy.

An absolute treat of a time. This was a spontaneous trip, but it out to be a very memorable one with the salty wet ride and awesome views. Friendly people and a cheap price made this experience totally worth it!

I attended an event with a group on Sept 25 on SF Bay aboard Captain Joe's Kitty Kat. The boat was perfect for the event and very comfortable, we took a mooring at Angel Island and just relaxed. I'd highly recommend Captain Joe for a corporate event with a group of about 40 or less folks.

best affordable prices in town ! customer service was perfect . Joe and Anthony are very helpful and awesome . felt really welcome not like other places I've been in this city. Joe is a funny guy. boat ride was awesome went around alcatraz and under the bridge for 1 Hr all for $15 who can beat that price ! to everyone reading this come on by to joes boat ride u will feel really welcome ! I will be coming here once again forsure

Before we got to SF, we did some research on Bay Cruises. We as budget travelers decided not to book anything online and just go with the flow. BEST DECISION; we walked by and heard the guys saying it was $15 cash, so we instantly paid. They let us bring wine on the ride. We got close to Alcatraz, went near the Bridge and even saw some marine wildlife (dolphins and sea otter). We were incredibly happy with the decision! The captain was super knowledgeable with the area and the history and he even made some jokes. The best part was when he played "Boats n Hoez" from the step brother movie! When we go back, we will def do it again. The captain was a good host and made sure we had a good time! :)

We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday on Captain Joe's boat "Kitty Kat" and I cannot describe in a few words the fun time that we had. The boat was just perfect-clean, neat, spacious and very weel maintained. But more than the boat Captain Joe and his buddy were simply great. I am a person who usually freakes out on a boat and especially hate the rocking. Luckily the day of our event the weather was superb-It wasn't cold or windy. I had mentioned to Joe that we just wanted to go in calm waters and have a great time and didn't want people to get sea sick. Joe ensured our wish was fulfilled and took us around the bay where the waters were calm. We had tons of food and alcohol on the boat and Joe was not fussy about anything at all. My friends had the best time ever and my husband 30th was a super hit. I absolutely recommend using Joe's services and 5 stars to the boat "Kitty Kat".
