The Team was so supportive in getting our tents, tables, and chairs to our event! I made an error in the process for reserving the order, but they were all hands on deck to fix my error and our event went off well. If you value kind customer service and timely support, these are the vendors to go with!

We contracted tent rentals for the 31st Annual Chalk It Up Chalk Art & Music Festival in September 2021 and can speak highly enough about them. We rented two 40' x 40' tents and a handful of 10'x10'.Michelle was fantastic to work with, always responsive to texts, calls, and emails. The tents were high quality and clean. Installers arrived right on time and we're super friendly and helpful. They suggested a different type of curtaining wall than we had originally planned for and drove back to the shop to get it when we agreed.We have already contracted with them for our 32nd festival in 2022. Well done.

Hello - I've been trying to get a contract in place with your company. I signed an invoice and sent it back on 7/23 and followed up on 8/6. I have not gotten any response. Can someone please call me? I really want to do business with you but this is it. I'm very nervous about the ability to deliver of I can't even get a timely response.

Good customer service and rental pricing. Through a number of changes and questions, and very last minute changes and add-ons, Lexi communicated well and helped us meet our client's needs, including permit/inspection requirements.

All around amazing company! The staff is so helpful and polite, they answered all my questions and helped me choose the perfect tent size for my daughters birthday. Their prices are realistic and they have a great selection to choose from! Renting from them was a seamless experience from beginning to end. Inquired and no one bothered to return my call. If this is how they treat people people then what do they do the day of your event? No thanks, I think I will just call a company who understands what customer service means and how to treat people with respect. Apparently, these people don't need any more business because they're too busy to return calls!

In preparing for our wedding reception I got the distinct impression that a lot of wedding vendors can have a "take it or leave it" approach that forces people to choose between their vision or budget. Happily, Capitol Tent City very much the exception and we were very glad they worked with us to pull off the event!Initially we were discouraged with vendors having found a few that were astronomically out of our budget range and/or not a good fit because of tent size, etc. Worse, we had a few similar vendors that answered questions ambiguously (or not at all) and at least one that just stopped calling back after a few interactions.Thankfully, Capitol Tent City really came through from early outreach, followups, day of event and during returns. Not only did they have tents big enough for the event (needing to seat over 200 people), they were helpful in suggesting how to lay out the seating to most efficiently fit everyone in without crowding. Even better, they offered package deals with the tent, tables and seats that made all the difference between making our budget vs having to skip the cake because of cost.We had a basic 40'x100' tent with tables, table cloths and seating but they have a few tent sizes and styles plus additional services like lighting, draping, etc. that you can see on their site if needed. Capitol Tent City didn't EVERYTHING we needed but what they didn't have was totally reasonable (eg, clamp mounted fans) and they still offered to look into those items for us. Additionally, when we wanted to see one of their tents in person they were good enough to give us a date and local event to check out how exactly everything came together. Similarly, their site visit to our event location was very easy to set up within the limited window we had coordinating from out of town and helpful planning tent setup and breakdown in conjunction with everything else needed on the day of.I wish there was a setting between four and five stars because removing a star seems harsh for this one caveat: It could be slightly hard to reach our contact at the company at times which made us a bit anxious coordinating from halfway across the state. However, in the end Capitol Tent City addressed all our questions and concerns and were attentive for the small hiccups (as when we needed a table swapped out). To conclude where this review began, wedding vendors can be hard to work with and feel like the only game in town but we're very grateful to Capitol Tent City for leveling the playing field with their hard work and reasonable rates and highly recommend them to anyone with tent/event needs.
