Capital Diesel

Yet another 5 star review for Alex and Capital Diesel. We were motoring along on I-80 when someone on the road waved us over, pointing at our trailer. We pulled off, my husband got under the trailer and saw we had a broken leaf spring. He's a mechanic, but without his tools and equipment, we needed help! After a few calls around with no luck, we got a hold of Alex, who was available to come out and help us, roadside! He said he'd be there in half an hour, and he was. My husband already had the tire off, but that was about all he could do - Alex arrived, took over, and got to work. He took out the leaf spring and took it to the shop to buy a replacement - they didn't have a 5 leaf pack to replace ours, so he came back with a 6 leaf pack and installed it. He also took the time to jack up the other side of the trailer and check the other leaf springs, so we'd know the status of those ones, as well as do a little post-mortem with my husband about why the one had failed.Start to finish, we're back on the road in less than 3 hours. Alex was super friendly, professional and told us that if we're anywhere within 100 miles of Sacramento, we should call him with any other troubles. And we will!!

He rescued me last week! He responded to me after my desperate call at 6am. He spent the day helping me figure out what was wrong with my truck after he fixed what I told him it was and it still didn't run. He even called me the next day to be sure everything worked out. He did not gouge me even knowing how much I needed to get back on road and he was responsive and professional throughout the process. I highly recommend Capital Diesel.

I was stranded on a Sunday and could get know one to come out and repair a tire on my pusher. He came out after church and did my repairs at a fair price. I would highly recommend him

Nowadays, its hard to find a good and honest mechanic. I got stocked in Newcastle, CA for leaking air dryer exhaust. The air doesn't build up anymore because of the air leak..I googled and find a 24 hour mobile service but the mechanic told me that he can only bypass the air dryer leak and doesn't guarantee that it will last long...so, I decided to find another option from other 24/7 roadside mechanic and I found the Capital Diesel 24/7 repair and. bingo the guy that I found was an honest and straight forward mechanic named Alex..Because I am one of the owner operator guy that thinks that, every money saved and spent on repair of the truck counts..The mechanic guy (Alex) explained that he would install the damaged air dryer exhaust kit first before changing the air filter..and test it first how it would work..for less than an hour of working on the air leak he found the solution and the leak was repaired... I saved a lot for what Alex have done..Tne truck work perfectly fine again...Thanks for the help... We were so thankful to have found Alex, and received help for our RV wheel issue. We drive a Class A diesel pusher, and live in it full-time. He came right to our RV Park where he did the repair. He is so knowledgeable, and does outstanding work. We felt his charges were very reasonable. We will definitely be calling him again for any issues we may have in the future.

I don't usually make online comments but in this case, I feel compelled. Diesel motorhome not building brake air pressure, and a hidden diesel fuel leak. I won't bore you with the whole story. I'll just say that Alex, who is also the owner, simply does honorable business. These two repairs could easily have been spun into a couple of $thousand, just like my Dash AC work at Polar Bear AC. Alex needs 10 stars. After being messed around and stranded by another mechanic we had the good fortune of calling Capital Diesel. They came out and worked extremely hard to get our Country Coach motorhome back together after someone else had the radiator 1/3 of the way out and left us. Alex is a very knowledgeable mechanic and fair priced and willing to go above and beyond to get you on the road. Kudos Alex you are the best.

If it were possible we would rate Alex 7 stars!!! He has repaired our motor home twice and both times he has been professional, neat, timely and has diagnosed the problem quickly. He is honest and his rates are reasonable. We highly recommend him without hesitation.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Alex, the owner, was responsive, on time and a man of integrity. My family and I were traveling through Sacramento with a 27ft travel trailer when one of our wheel bearings blew out. Stranded on the side of the road, we found Alex on Yelp and called. Alex said he would arrive in 20mins and he was right on time. He had all the tools necessary to perform the repair. He took me into town to purchase a replacement hub & bearing assembly. After the repair was completed, he inspected the rest of the bearings and identified a blister on the inside sidewall of one of my other tires. He put the spare on and adjusted all the breaks. I would definitely use Alex again! Thank you Alex!!!!
