I have been doing events with Capital City Catering for over 5 years. Michelle and the team are committed to delighting their customers! I use them for everything from large 300+ corporate events to small family events. As an event planner they are my very first call for delicious, reliable food for my team, customers and family.

Really great catering for my business lunch. On time, fairly priced and most important- YUMMY!!

I had the GREAT pleasure of attending the Sacramento Kings NBA draft party and it was catered by CCC. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the servers was incredibly personable, not to mention helpful. The food was fabulous (although it could have been served with plates rather than napkins) and there was no shortage of it either. I would especially like to thank/compliment the bartender, Hank (freshly transplanted to our amazing state of Cali from the Big Apple!!!), who provided excellent service and on more than one occasion came up with solutions to those odd, pesky situations that always seem to present themselves at events like these. Thanks again Hank and all the others for making this an awesome event!

Capital City Catering went above and beyond. We were extremely pleased and happy to have had them cater for our wedding. The food was amazing and delicious. The service was superb. They helped make of our special day even more amazing. We'd highly recommend Capital City Catering to anyone looking for catering services. Thanks to Brigitte for working with us!

This review is strictly based on a wedding catering proposal request. I did not have the chance to taste the food because I never received a proposal. I initially requested a proposal on 4/14 via their website contact form and received an auto-acknowledgement a few minutes later. Brigitte responded to my request on 4/19 apologizing for the delay and we hopped on a quick call to square away any lingering questions on the proposal request... I pinged Brigitte on 4/25 as I had not heard from her since our talk on 4/19. She replied the following day stating she was busy with events and had been ill so she hadn't had a chance to work on it yet. Ok... totally fine as everyone is busy and gets sick but you could have been proactive and let me know why it was taking so long. On 4/28 I received another e-mail from Brigitte claiming she was backlogged and still had not been able to work on the proposal. She asked if I could wait until Sunday, 5/1 for the proposal. I let her know I would wait (everyone deserves a few chances in my eyes), however I could not guarantee we would consider Capital City if we did not receive the proposal by Sunday.... Sunday goes by and I still haven't received any kind of correspondence. I decided to give it one final chance and e-mail Brigitte Monday to see if she had a proposal available for us... Again no response. I think my experience explains it all. I am utterly disappointed in the customer service or lack there of Capital City provided me. I believe I was extremely patient throughout the process despite the fact that I had to constantly follow up with them when I am the one trying to give them business. They lost out on a fairly large wedding and great business opportunity. I hope they do read this review and use it as a training experience for their employees on responding to prospective customers.

Amazing service, exceptional food and great attention to detail. Last year we used them for my parents 65th wedding anniversary. Lots of great comments on the food and service. This year we unfortunately needed a catering for a funeral. They could not have been more accommodating. Extremely easy to coordinate with. During this time it was great not to have to worry about the food. Steve made sure to take care of all the details.

Amazing food and set up for my wedding! I could not have asked for better food for the cost and for the service! Bridgette was amazing! She and John were there to set up the day before and she was very responsive by e-mail all throughout! Great service!

Used this caterer as we were holding a conference at the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Suites this month. I had originally asked for a separate meal for one of my staff as he has a serious onion allergy (one that will hospitalize him for days). I was then offered for the complete removal of onions to ensure this individual would be able to participate in the full meal minus one side dish. After confirming with the onsite staff that no other onions would be in the food my staff decided to eat a wrap only to find fresh green onions.Secondly, it seemed that it was all very unorganized. My Lunch and PM break was supposed to have ALL sodas as the venue was providing water all day for us and after discussing that with the onsite manager, she was going to make sure there was very little water and more soda. When she brought the order they gave her at least half water bottles, she did offer to go back for more but at that point I told her not to worry about it. Potentially poisoning one of your patrons after such care was taken to avoid this is NOT OKAY. What is also not ok is the outcome after i reached out to them. An apology that the OWNER thought no onions was limited to red onions, apparently he has owned this company for 30 years and I shudder to think of other issues he has had in the past. A 10% discount on a $2500 bill, I will be recommending the hotel no longer utilize their services because ultimately it's their reputation on the line as they directed me to this awful company.Good luck for anyone who takes that chance.

Capital City Catering went above and beyond with two MAJOR events that my company held this year, one for 5,000 attendees and the other with 1,500. Their expertise from planning to execution was excellent, and their special attention to detail to help cater our food and decoration selection to fit our event themes was such a nice touch. Brigitte Boudreau helped from step 1, suggesting menu items and quantities that would work well for the event, she even went the extra mile to do a walk-though for each of the spaces where our events were held to ensure that on the day of the event, everything was executed flawlessly. She is great! Guests thoroughly enjoyed their food, and the vegetarians were also happy to see that they were able to cater to their needs. I would highly recommend Capital City Catering for any catering service needs, their staff is extremely helpful, educated, and great to work with!
