Canyon Creek Park

Canyon Creek Park is nostalgic to me as I used to play here as a child and now visit with my toddler. It's been completely demolished and redone! The park has two different play areas: one for little kids and one for older kids. In the little kid area, there are fun swings to swing your baby and swing yourself at the same time. There is a small play structure with two different slides. On the big kid side, the slides are huge! There are also innovative swings that seat three people. There is a climbing structure and a balance beam.There is a large seating area with tons of shade. A single bathroom is also on the property. Next to the park is a large field, big enough to play fetch with your dog.Huge upgrade and a great place to take your kid.

Canyon Creek Park is located in the City of Galt, California. The park is nestled in the lovely Greenwood area of Galt . Earlier in the year I visited Lake Canyon Park which is just a short distance from Canyon Creek Park. While at the park I found out that the two parks are connected by a scenic trail. This sounded very intriguing, so naturally I had to check it out.Canyon Creek Park was everything that I had imagined and more ! The park was quite large and very well maintained. It has an play area for older children as well as for younger children. Both play areas have swings, slides, and climbing structures . Wisteria vines covering the picnic area provided plenty of shade. Other amenities that the park had to offer was one/half basketball court, restroom, and a scenic walking/biking trail that will take you to another park just a short distance away "Lake Canyon Park."Wonderful park for your weekend family gathering, or morning / evening walks !
