Cannon Station Park

This park has so many options for whatever you're looking for. I usually start a walk around the neighborhood here when in the area. There is a full basketball court along with tennis and play areas for kids. Nice and calm area with no bs.

My daughter and I have been on a quest to visit new parks lately. We had no idea there were so many so close to us too!This one ended up being a nice surprise. I initially thought it would be rather small with not much to do, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Like most parks, this one is divided into a section for kids 5 and under and another for the big kids. I was happy to see that this playground has some cool features on top of the things I look for as a parent. The play area was very clean and the grass had just been cut that morning. Lots of room to run around here. There's a tennis court and 2 half basketball courts to the right of the play area too. I like that there's a drinking fountain, even if it's not in the best location (tucked against the tennis court entrance) and that there are plenty of seating options. Unfortunately, none of the benches or tables have any permanent awning over them, but a few will be shaded by trees at the right time of day. My daughter loved playing with the scoop toy and racing me down the blue slides. This playground must get packed after school and during the summer. We'll definitely be back by then to have even more fun!

Park is very nice and well kept. But this park seems to be for bigger kids not so much for small kids. The playground and the slides are very tall. I do like the rubber bark instead of the old wood bark.

Great park and playground. We live right across the street so, can't beat the location. We even had my 3yr old bday party there. It's usually pretty clean. My kids enjoy the playground as well as the basketball court and plenty of grass to run and play...perfect for a picnic!
