Loyal to this local restaurant. Closed every Tuesday. Fresh tortillas made daily. The most authentic breakfast you'll get. Spicy chilaquiles is my favorite dish. The breakfast potato burrito is also very delicious.

I have to start this off by saying if you are looking for a fancy place to eat then this is NOT it. I love divey/ hole in the wall places so this is right up my alley. The chairs are old but who cares when your coming for the food. This place has really good food. They also have home made tortillas!!!! You will not leave here feeling like you need a triple bypass because the portions are just right. They do not accept credit/ debit so prepare ahead and have cash on hand. I definitely recommend this place over & over! The service was good too. The only problem is parking. But you can park in the back but its definitely a sketchy area.

Home made tortilla!!! There is something golden about a place that make their own tortilla and that's exactly what they offer here. My wife has been having a menudo craving as of late and I really don't trust anywhere else with such a prized commodity. Lets not forget the breakfast burrito, they have bacon and chorizo. They really do make my morning special with such amazing food. I've never had a bad experience here and the food just makes me want to always come back for more.My only complaint is the fact that this is a cash only restaurant, it does create and inconvenience at times

No...... the customer service was good but the food wasn't. The seats were uncomfortable, they don't offer chips and salsa like every other Mexican restaurant does. They don't really give you a lot of food. Just not the best...

Third time ordering take out from this little restaurant. Their food never disappoints. Normal wait times. The cashier always seems to be in a mood but after coming in a couple times we think it's just her personality. We don't mind when it's the food that counts that's why I'm giving 5 stars. We keep coming for the home made authentic tortillas. The Mexican hot chocolate was amazing and made with milk and NOT your typical watered down packet hot chocolate.

I ordered and didn't take a pic of my chorizo burrito or bean and cheese burrito. The chorizo burrito was really good! It wasn't huge but still enough to be satisfied. Probably the best chorizo around I'd say. But the problem here is always the serving size. We've been coming here for a good 20 years and the prices have gone up considerably but the sizes remain the same, small. The egg and bacon burrito was extremely disappointing. The burrito had 1 slice of bacon in the burrito, maybe crisp it up and break it and scatter throughout but 1 slice places in the center was disappointing. The burrito was not a large burrito either. The gravy and cheese was terrible a watered down mess. Won't try that again. The food is homemade and good but the serving is size is not good. Homemade tortillas are a 5 and chorizo is a 5.

I ordered two Benny special burritos and not one piece of meat was in either burrito! Two small burritos for 28$ is ridiculous, to top it off the owner is extremely rude especially over the phone. Your business will never thrive at this rate , lost a customer!

This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Stockton. Homemade flour tortillas, family recipes that are authentic and delicious. Everything is delicious here. Tip: cash only, parking is a challenge with the red zone

I posted a review regarding the small burritos and a lack of seasonings. It was at the Campesino Cafe in Stockton. So if I posted it on the wrong "Campesino Cafe" not in Stockton then I apologize. Otherwise I stick by my review and will not be eating there again.

Always good! my BFF and I frequently have breakfast there on Saturday mornings. limited hours. homemade tortillas!!!! place is clean CASH ONLY of at least its been like that lately. my go-to is the chorizo breakfast plate. laundrymat next door
