Called2arms Gun Range

I've been coming to this range since long before ownership changed and I don't have anything but positive feedback! From Becky at the front desk answering any questions you can think of and working with Zach in the range, this place is definitely the spot for a friendly 2A environment! With the help from Zach inside the range, my shooting experience has changed for the better! I ended up purchasing the annual pass to the range and will be coming here for my CCW classes in the NEAR future!

Great place! Whether you're experienced or first time shooters. I'm a single mom of boys and this being their first time shooting at a range they were comfortable. It's a great place to teach them without the crowds. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable to the questions they had. What a great experience for them. They can't wait to go back!!!

Had a blast (pun intended) the range is well maintained and the distances are from 3, 7 & 21 yards perfect for pistol training. I'm not sure if higher caliber weapons are permitted but if they are my advice would be use ear plugs in addition with ear muffs. (probably a good idea to exercise this regardless). As a note no holster work is allowed but you can start at the #2 position and present out to focus on target acquisition and sight alignment. For new shooters here are 5 rules for handling a firearm EVERY TIME to help ensure your safety and the safety of others.1. Treat every firearm as if it's loaded.2. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.3. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.4. Be aware of your target and what's beyond it.5. Store firearms securely and safely.Remember, these rules are essential for safe handling of any firearm.Enjoy your training session!

Prior to ownership change, I was told by previous owner that the new owner would honor all range passes from the previous ownership. I had 4 range passes from CSS. Tried to use one today. I was told that since my previous membership had expired these passes were no longer valid. This is definitely not a trustworthy or veteran and senior friendly business. Barnwood is a lot friendlier

First time going to the shooting range. The staff were super helpful and extremely friendly! Made my birthday so fun! Prices were very reasonable. Location was convenient and the inside well kept. We will definitely be back!!

Great experience great staff, they are very helpful and create a great experience. They're have a great selection of Gun Rentals and also yearly memberships, this will save you a lot money I purchased one and now I can use there rentals at no charge. thank you to all the crew you guy are awesome.

Don't be a minority wearing a beanie and a hoodie because it's 40 degrees outside or you'll be stereotyped into oblivion! How is it that on your website it says "Courses Currently Accepted By: Stanislaus, Escalon PD". Then I schedule an appointment to add a gun to my San Joaquin county CCW permit and when I get there I get told they don't train for San Joaquin County. Escalon PD is in SJC right? How does that make sense? Then when I mention it, the attitude I received was highly unprofessional. Not to mention the constant judgmental looks and passive aggressive comments about not pointing guns at people? We haven't even hit the range yet and you're making assumptions on our firearm safety and common sense? Totally opposite experience compared to one I had at the gun shop. Which was excellent.

My wife and I walked in with questions and left with knowledge,Becky was phenomenal at making us feel comfortable enough to ask questions other staff members equally helpful,range is clean and had become my newest passion affordable membership and wide variety of guns to rent .thank you to all the staff for making our visit so comfortable ,will be continuing training with them

Becky was very welcoming and educational for our first time at a gun range. We will definitely be returning and telling our friends about this place. A great experience with great people!

A nice place to shoot. I'm glad someone took over after California Shooting Sports went out of business. I will definitely continue shooting there.
