Horrible customer service, never pay in full first. My new housemate went there and ordered a new mattress today (Oct 31)around 5PM. They never gave her an expected time of arrival. She was surprised when she got to my house at 7:15PM that they weren't here yet. She called and left a msg. We need to go grocery shopping or east find a place for food, and she needs to go back to her old place to move the rest of her things. Finally arrived at 7:45PM. She asked if he can move it upstairs and if he can take off his shoes. I was still here, and I even said "please". This is when it turns nasty. He said he doesn't have time to take off his shoes. Seriously? It only takes 2 minutes max. Besides this house is only a year old, and I would like to keep it clean. And it's been raining all day today since noon. If it was dirty carpet, then I won't mind it so much if people had shoes on or not. I then asked if he would at least wipe his shoes, and this is when he just walked out. While on the way out, he proceed to close the door really hard. I have an automatic lock system that auto locks after 30mins. When he try to close the door, the bolt was out and thus it hit hard against the frame and cause some damage (see picture attached). I bet if my housemate hadn't paid in full ahead, he won't have acted this way.

Very poor customer service!!!!! Took months for couch to come in. Then says it's stuck in some warehouse out of town! Paid in advance!!!! The owner Daniel never answers his phone!!! Not even a courtesy call back!! I am very upset! Daniel is a nice guy BEWARE!!!!! Furniture lacks quality. Buyer beware!!!! I recommend NOT coming in unless you have cash and expect low quality furniture!

I've bought many pieces of furniture from this store. I know the owner well and he's never given me the run around. Due to being a loyal customer, he's offered reasonable discounts for my purchases. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is that the delivery process can take some time but due to it being brought overseas, it's understandable. I just bought a dining table set, bedroom set, and a mattress but due to the table being damaged upon arriving to the store, he had to order another one so the delivery took a bit longer for it to arrive. I'm glad he checked the items prior to bringing them to my home because I would have been very upset and had him take it back. He still delivered the other items as scheduled.

We bought bed room furniture paid in full waited for the delivery and when it was delivered it was mismatched furniture we won't be going there again & he never gave us the other pieces i told him to come & get the the pieces that didnt match he gave us are money back but we will never do business with him again

These disgusting people scammed my elderly father out of hundreds of dollars. We went to this place because we thought it was a different store. First of all, it took them ALMOST A MONTH to deliver the couch. Then, they delivered the wrong couch and refused to take it back claiming that the one we ordered "they don't sell". Absolutely dirty, filthy store. I will be calling the Stockton Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.

This place sells garbage and gets away with it. I tried to resolve a problem with a mattress. It makes springs noises. You can hear springs when you move.He stated it told me it was no good. Really im going to buy a faulty mattress. When i called he said go in and buy another more expensive one. Can do anything about my problem but i hope this review wil cause people to use caution when dealing with these people.Went to better business bureau and got no help. It still doesn't look like the one I seen in the store. But lesson learned stay away from these cheap places. Please if you're thinking of going here please read other reviews.

When we moved to a new house in a small town south of Stockton in 2007 we needed a lot of furniture. We couldn't find a store we liked in the area so I looked online and found California Furniture Outlet. We went to the store and spoke with Daniel. He was very helpful while we decided on what we needed to buy. We ended up spending over $5,000 on furniture. We needed everything for our 2 story house except the master bedroom bed. Daniel and a couple of assistants delivered the furniture to our house the next day. They set up everything including two huge recliners that had to go upstairs to the master retreat. I found the entire experience to be very easy. The next year we bought two more dining room table chairs from Daniel. Again it was a very good buying experience.

Bought a mattress set, wasn't delivered on date we agreed on. Then when I got home mattress made noises like springs popping. When I called he said he told me it was cheap and should buy better set. This conversation never happened. Also stated he never exchanges. I understand this but no one willing buys a faulty mattress. I sure wouldn't. Bought a mattress refurbished that lasted 10 yrs not 10 minutes!!!! Now I'm going to take a loss never going to this cheap faulty place again.
