I stopped in a few weeks ago and talked to Ryan about a few ebike questions. He was super friendly and informative. Ryan also spent the necessary time answering my question in a very relaxed manor. I'm not quite ready for a ebike yet but I now have a go to when I finally do.Thanks Ryan, really nice meeting you.

I walked in and met Ryan the owner and was pleasantly greeted. I was looking at getting a commuter ebike. I've had a fat tire e-bike for 5 years and I wanted something a little lighter and more nimble and faster. I was looking at the Velotric Discover 1 E-Bike. We were talking and Ryan introduced me to a different bike that was a little bit more powerful but around the same price. I was able to test ride it and I was pleasantly surprised. It was exactly what I was looking for. Erica his wife rang me up right after that and I've been happy with the bike ever since. I even had some issues that I caused and they still warrantied the repair and had it returned in a reasonable amount of time. I totally recommend this ebike shop. It's family owned and operated and I love doing business with them.

On our first visit to California Ebikes, we were greeted warmly by Ryan, despite the fact that we were bringing in a bike we purchased online. When we showed him our Jason EB7 ST bike with a broken shifter (from a crash), Ryan said they'd be able to replace/fix it, no problem. Also, at our request, he installed a thumb throttle to replace the bar throttle that contributed to the crash (user error). When we picked it up a few days later, not only was the work done expertly, but Ryan had also touched up the crash-scraped brake handles with matching paint and fixed any crash-based misalignments he could find (like handlebars and wheels). Based on the low fee, I'm pretty sure he didn't charge us for all the parts and labor involved. (If he did all that to encourage us first-timers to come back, he succeeded... Thanks, Ryan!) I will definitely recommend California Ebikes to anyone who needs service for their e-wheelers.

I bought an ebike on Amazon and it didn't fit my wife, so we knew there was an eBike shop down the street. So off we went on my new bike and her old pedal bike. We didn't have locks, so we weren't sure what to do and the gentleman from the shop said, "Go ahead and bring them in." We came in originally to just size my wife for an eBike and then off to the internet as usual for purchase. I was mistaken to think, as I have experienced at other shops, to be snubbed when I asked about things about my bike (Purchased elsewhere). I had introduced myself to the gentleman (Ryan) and he proceeded to answer questions about servicing my bike for flats, some solutions I might consider when/if I get a flat to reduce future flats. All of my question were answered and no BS. My wife tried several bikes and Ryan was very informative as to her selection. She made up her mind and we went home. I believe in shopping local when at all possible. The price was good, I didn't have to assemble it and there wouldn't be multiple messages through Amazon (As with my bike) to get the order right and bike working. After figuring the $ out we went back and bought the bike my wife picked out after all price point was great, local, I didn't have to spend all the time putting it together and the customer service was top notch. After our second ride my wife's screen came loose and a screw had fallen out. We stopped by after they opened, and Ryan was right on it and fixed it right on the spot. I am glad to have a great shop so close to home and look forward to future service.

I had a flat tire on my etrike today and called around trying to find someone to repair it. California ebikes didn't originally pop up in my first few searches but when it did I called and he texted me back right away saying he could fix it. I arrived as soon as they opened expecting it would be in the shop for a few days but he said he could do it right then. As we chatted about the bike he told me about upgrades he could do, and I jumped at getting more performance out of it. So we have upgrades on order. I'm so glad I found this shop. This will be my go to guy from now on

I purchased two used E-bikes and didn't know much about them. I brought them to California E-bikes to be checked out and do some minor maintenance. Ryan and his wife Erica the owners were so helpful and super friendly and personable. Christian their bike mechanic took both bikes in the back and 20 minutes later we were out riding our bikes. We just can't say enough about the friendliness and caring service. I'll certainly keep going back if needed.

I can't recommend this bike shop. The owner (Erica) will say anything to make a sale. I wanted an e bike that could go off road with my husband. He has a mountain e-bike. She stated several times that the Hemiway mid drive Zebra could do this. This is not the case. The bike is great as a cruiser, but can't go off road and around tight corners. After taking it out, I tried to return it because it just couldn't do what we were sold it could. They refused to allow us to return the bike.The worst sales technique and even worse customer service.

Oh my gosh!!!! I cannot say enough good things about CA EBikes! Ryan was SO incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a huge variety of bikes and brands and he knows all of the ins and outs of all of them. We will definitely be back!
