"next stop on my Lodi Wine Tasting tour....I absolutely love the design and ambiance of this little spot. Snuggled next to fellow wine tasting rooms, my favorite cheese shop, eclectic antique stores and more is this open and airy brick and beam bar. A small sitting area by the front door and a few round tables toward the back invite you to kick back and enjoy a drink and some friendly conversation. On this chilly Sunday afternoon, we entered and approached the bar. The lone bartender was engaged in lively banter with 4 other guests which was easily deduced were regulars. She greeted us and explained the menu, to which only 2 of us decided to partake. We were on our second sample when the guys at the end of the bar began chanting for the bubbly. Turns out the gal next to us had wished to sample the champagne blanc de blanc but the bartender was hesitant to open a bottle just for one taste, so with a show of hands from all those at the bar, we were treated to a special off-menu sample. What a treat! That goes to show great friendly service. She was able to answer our questions about some samples and I ended up purchasing a very nice bottle of Incognito Blanc.Ambiance: warm and invitingService: helpful and friendlyPrice: great value"
"It was a great experience coming there to celebrate our dog's birthday. My family and I had a lot of fun drinking and enjoying the band. First off, the food was beyond amazing. Every single dish was perfect, especially the cheese fondue. That's my favorite! And it also helps that all the servers there were extremely polite and attentive to all our needs. None of them were rude or had a I don't care vibe. Each of them were very friendly and nice to my dog too. The food came fast too, which helps. Each of us also enjoyed the band, which we were lucky enough to arrive at the timing. So, all in all, great food, friendly service, and fun atmosphere. If you want to come for a fun and relaxing evening/night, definitely come here! I'd recommend this restaurant/bar!"
"Why do I love it here. The open kitchen. When other restaurants say this, they don't REALLY mean it. Here, it is in fact a place where you're watching and engaging with the chef. Listening to the chef idéate in real time was fun. The menu is curated in such a thoughtful way. The seasonal consideration keeps you on your toes from season to season. We had the clam steamers. Gambas (shrimp), beef Wellington, the baby artichokes and the broquetas (sardines) en vinagre. The staff makes excellent pairing recommendations throughout your meal and is attentive as much as possible.Reservations aren't required but if you want to sit at the bar (highly recommended), I'd make one and call and request the bar."
"We went there in a family gathering. First of all, the free chips and salsa are AMAZING. The chips are warm and freshly cooked. I will go again there just for the chips.Coming to the food, I ordered burrito loco which is like a Cali burrito. It comes with fries, guacamole, chicken, rice and bean inside. It tastes good expect I feel the Chicken should be more seasoned, mine tastes very chicken. I normally don't enjoy the boil meat flavor (I am Indian duhh)I took off one star because of the chicken. The service is excellent, the server gave two refills of the chips, mostly consumed by me. And we didn't ask for it, she asked if we want refill. Also we waited 10-15 mins for part of the family to arrive, and the server didn't ask once if we are ready to order, no rushing of any kind.A must visit Mexican place. I will definitely go again there."
"The food was absolutely delicious I enjoyed every taste and the marinara sauce was divine. The service was fantastic and I felt very happy about how they attended us for anything. The atmosphere felt peaceful and welcoming. Having dinner here was worth every dollar and bringing the family together for a special time. I love it"
"I recently tried this place after not being there since 2019. They have a solid list of really amazing brews, and I was so excited to see that they had sour beer on the menu (it's common that sours don't make a menu since some folks just avoid them altogether). Really surprised at how great the quality was for the price. Will definitely be back!"
"I apparently hadn't reviewed this place when I posted pics. So here we go. This place is a cute little spot in a cute little town. In the heart of their cute little downtown. Came for my husband and brother in law's birthdays. My brother in law and his wife have been here before so it came with great recommendation. Ordered some apps: calamari, baked Emberz (a duo of ooey gooey cheese) and a side of toasted crostini and olive tapenade. Both very delicious and very shareable. We both ordered the tomahawk steak which came with a side vegetable and mashed potatoes. The steak came sliced and cooked exactly as we requested. Steak of everything you want it to be since you know you are spending a pretty penny.Ambiance is nice. Service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. Highly recommend! Oh we had so much left over I was able to make 4 full size breakfast burritos with what was leftover and well as what I was able to cut off the bone. Place is family friendly and they had what looked like a well stocked bar with a variety of anything you may have a hankering for or want to pair with your meal. Don't sleep on this place!"
"Literally my favorite bar/restaurant in Tracy! Tammy & Randy (owners) are some of the nicest and most attentive owners you'll ever meet. Very good food and great wine but they also serve tasty cocktails and beer on tap. Tammy is the wine whisperer (always has a great wine recommendation!) and Randy is the foodie. Between their super attentive service and their staff's friendliness (Nicole + Gail are awesome!) you can't go wrong."
"My friend and I had the sangria and it was very refreshing, service was great and ambience is perfect , we sipped on our drinks indoor since it was a little cold outside. We will definitely be coming back again."
"We popped in before some wine tasting. My hubby and I split the soup and grilled cheese. The owner was great. Happy to split it for us and frankly when the soup came out I didn't look split. A very good size tasty bowl of tomato soup. Perfect for a fall day. The establishment is clean and the staff were super friendly. I could tell that this place is made with love and the owners clearly care about quality service and food. We will certainly return. Thank you for a great experience."
"What a pleasant surprise this weekend...my daughter and her BF have been talking up this place and so when I was down for the weekend we decided to give it a try. Be forewarned this place gets busy! I would suggest doing what my daughter's BF did and get here at 5p when they open and get your name on the wait list. It's a small place with out door seating a la well...service was outstanding and loved the vibe and ambiance. Food was amazing! Started off with the persimmon and burata salad amazing! Then went into some hot wings amazing! Then had our pizzas which were also amazing! I loved everything about this hidden gem and I know you would as well. This is a must stop in Lodi!"
"This store is quite large with lots of wine options. It's a bit overwhelming. However, didn't end up up buying anything because the service was non-existent. No hello, no asking if we need help, nothing. It was the oddest thing, I have been to many wine shops and most are so nice. I want to come back to do a tasting maybe and see if it's different. They are nice variety of wine which was appealing."

Their phone number doesn't work and the hours on the website are different than the hours on their Facebook page which are different than the hours on Yelp and those are different than the hours posted on the door. And the manager doesn't know how to work the TV!They've got a mess to clean up.

My friend and I tried. Ella's Door for the first time this evening and we can't wait to go back! The seating was so warm and welcoming, I felt like I was at someone's home. It had a rustic romantic feeling to it. I asked the bartender for a mocktail, he make me a spiced pear drink that was so refreshing. We ordered the Hummus, artichoke dip, and 2 different flat breads. Everything was fresh and tasty! Our server was sweet and attentive.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, excellent service! Our large party was happily accommodated. We sampled and shared several items from the menu, and everything was great. A must try appetizer is the bruschetta with prosciutto, arugula and fig jam!

Service was friendly, prompt, and professional. We enjoyed our drinks, meal, and dessert. We got there at 5pm and were the first ones for dinner. Everyone must eat later. The fisherman's salad had the option of salmon or basa. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare.Cocktails for $12?!? Get outta here, so cheap and liquored!

Such a wonderful place to spend the evening! I happened to visit on a Wednesday evening and was really shy because it was my first time here. I was greeted immediately by the staff, and felt so welcome. The ambiance is very warm and cozy, I enjoyed the Crab Cakes with mixed greens, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF. The wine paired perfectly with my dish, even though I enjoyed a red wine. The flavors of the crab cakes with the mixed greens and dressing were composed so beautifully. And a table of complete strangers invited me to join them because I was solo for the evening.I definitely plan on returning. As the sign says , " Good friends, good wine , good times"CHEERS!

"This place is always such a friendly and relaxing vibe. The live music is always a great change from a standing room only bar. The wine always moves me out of my regular tastes. This is the reason I joined their wine club. I stopped giving my money to Napa supplier to support a local business. I have seen the negative view about their view of lgbtq+ and I want to say from first hand experience...this business has been open and welcoming to myself and my wife."
"I went here for the first time.... And it was great!Food: the crepes were delicious! I had a savory breakfast crepe and a dessert crepe- Bananas Foster. Yummm. The only negative I can say is that I didn't care for the ice cream.Menu: they have a great variety of food... and gluten free options- just ask!Service: I don't know our waitresses name (not sure if she introduced herself- I may have just missed it). She was attentive, professional and very nice. Atmosphere: we sat outside- which was fabulous! There were a fly or two tryin to eat for free, but other than that- the weather was great (0900) and the area was decorated nicely. Price: it's an issue EVERYWHERE (at least in CA). No exception here. I will be going back- but as a special treat type of visit."
"Yummy brunch. Three drinks and two entrees only $63. That's a win! Plus kind and skilled servers AND a fun ambiance with heaters and live music."
"Stopped by on a Saturday night and it looked pretty busy but got a table for 2 in less than 5 minutes. We received complimentary bread and wow! The bread was super soft and fresh. I would eat 10 plates of their bread! They have specials on top of their main menu. I got the Fettuccine and my boyfriend got the Parmagiano. The portions are great! We definitely were super full. We got a few cocktails. I got the sangria and my boyfriend got the Pineapple Screwdriver. They were delicious and great price! I would recommend!"
"This is our regular spot, the food and service is always TOP NOTCH!Their commitment to serving our community during the scamdemic was unparalleled.Unfortunately, being a regular I have become complacent and neglected to tell the "yelp world" how fantastic they are!! Thank you for many years of GREAT food, service and times!!!"
"It had been awhile since I had lunch here. We arrived around 3:30pm and it was quiet and empty. I was unaware that they have a Happy Hour Menu until 6pm (even on a Sat). The entrees we ordered were fairly priced, even wine and a few cocktails. I thoroughly enjoyed the pear salad which had a delicious blend of greens, sliced pears (soft), crumbled pecans and bleu cheese. My fish slider sandwich had a nice crunch to it. Fresh with a good amount of slaw. The chocolate cake was delicious! Dense and very chocolatey with a creamy frosting. Our waitress was attentive enough and kept checking on us throughout our meal. Much appreciated. The interior of this place is always nice and I love sitting by the big windows. I choose this place as my fave place to dine in downtown Livermore. Consistently good food and service."
"We've been frequenting Camp 4 for many years, so I find it hard to believe that I've never reviewed it before! Simply put, this is the absolute best date spot in Modesto, Quick tip: make a reservation, just makes things easier. When you first walk in, you immediately notice the ambiance, and the front area is dimly lit seems kind of small, but it's the perfect atmosphere to enjoy yourself and your company. But don't think that's all, there is a huge annex in the back that can accommodate larger parties. The food is simply incredible, they almost always have something special on the menu that they didn't the month before. Always gives you something new to try. The wine selection is awesome and they offer wine flights, if you'd like to try a few different wines at once. I've tried most things on the menu, from the paninis to the baller board. I cannot recommend the baller board enough, it's an absolute enormous selection of meats, cheeses, nuts, and fruit selections. They explain the entire board and give you all the details about each item. Please, give Camp 4 a try if you haven't already. I promise it'll be your next go to spot."
"Food was delicious. Waiter very attentive and food came quickly. Large salads. Nice choices. Ambiance was good at 5 pm. Starting ramping by 6:30 pm due to the game on in the bar area although there is a protective glass between the bar and restaurant. Great patio seating. Will return."
"What a great find! An almost hidden gem near the fountain in Livermore. So much selection within these walls. The ladies/proprietors were lovely and knowledgeable. Real team players, hooked us up with service from Strizzi's and we enjoyed a nice evening out. Very generous wine flight pors- shared with husband and didn't feel cheated. We chose a bottle of The First Street Cab, at $30 per bottle it was a steal. Truly tasted much more expensive. Don't you just love when that happens? Can't wait to go back and discover a new favorite."
"Alessandra was fantastic on her customer Service. She was also very knowledgeable in her menu ingredients and drinks. The owner Mary Lou and Judith were very hospitable and accommodated my food allergies as best as he could. The inside of the facility is clean upbeat and fun. I would be coming back again soon. Thankful and happy to support small business owners."
"My friend and I were searching for a local Italian restaurant that did not require us going to Olive Garden. Came across this gem on Yelp and I must say it was impressive. Spacious parking. They have valet if that's your thing. A beautiful house garden filled with broccoli, dill and much more to walk through. I made a reservation prior being that it was a Friday night and my first time here. We were running a a few min behind but they did emphasize the 15 min grace period. I started off with a virgin Mona Lisa and it was delicious!! Then made our way to the ROSETTA'S ARANCINI (fried risotto ) which was also delicious. These things were massive, I ended up taking the 3rd one home. Also the bread loaf is too good. I was craving pesto but decided to go with the lasagna. If we are being honest, it tasted a little burnt and the excessive cheese was in fact a bit much. I was also searching for more pasta layers. I had high expectations being that this was a house made lasagna. When I come back I will definitely try the pesto sauce. My friend tried the CIOPPINO and demolished it! Lastly we saw a couple next to us order the THE SPUMONI and had to try it. The strawberry ice cream was the best and I'd probably order a tub of it to go if I could. Overall 5 stars and looking forward to trying out some new items on the menu. See you soon Pietros!!"
"The best wine, beer, and atmosphere in the State. Great place to rent venue for events."
"Came with a friend to try some wine for a much needed girls night. Located in downtown Brentwood, it is a very cozy and welcoming environment. Lighting is low and music was smooth. Definitely made the experience a relaxing one."
"I was hoping to love this newer addition to Twain Harte . The patio is beautiful and the menu looked appealing. Came in on a chilly Friday night on a holiday weekend. I was promptly , but Awkwardly greeted . There was a tense vibe amidst the younger servers and two middle aged women that I presumed to be owners /and/or managers .The inside was kinda meh . It felt kinda like a converted diner ? The fireplace was not lit , which was a disappointment ambience wise . The two presumed boss ladies were extra friendly to selective groups. As a single diner, I gathered my input just wasn't as important to them . My sever was a slightly older gentleman . He was super sweet , friendly , and attentive ! I agree with other commenters on the soup tasting canned . It was the minestrone and arrived lukewarm , but tasty enough . The taste of the "Caramelized" mushroom flatbread was amazing in a comfort food kinda way . However , it felt like something I could have made as a girl dinner in my oven , or even microwave from some good Trader Joe's ingredients . It lacked that wood fired crispyness I tend to associate with flat bread and was more like sourdough or maybe naan ? But , like , more doughy . Kinda like cafeteria garlic bread consistency with swapped ingredients . But it was super yummy .Nothing made me sick . It was a decent enough dining experience . I'd give then another chance after they've had a chance to keep settling in . :) I feel like they need to find their niche and adjust their menu etc . Nice music ."
"My late husband and I loved this place when we lived in CA. Highly recommend and get the pretzel"
"Wow!!!! What a chic, fun place! The charcuterie board is amazing, and the wine flights amazing! Conversation starters are fun, lively, and provoked thought! This is about to be a weekly spot!"
"This is a cute little store in Patterson, right off of I-5. I've gone several times to buy little gifts for friends. They have an assortment of snacks. Different flavors of almonds, pretzels, jams, wines, oils, etc. My personal favorite is their butter pretzels. Can't. Stop. Eating. Those. Although I've never been to one, they also hold wine tastings. If you have time, you should stop by this cute store."
"We stopped by for a quick brunch and the staff was so friendly. Kao, you were awesome. He have us plenty of recommendations. The food was fresh, and honestly large portions so, share some plates if you want to try some different items. Comfortable and beautiful decor. Will be back for another experience."
"Went there with my grandfather first time this Saturday. Service was great and the wine was amazing"
"We had the 3 course meal with wine pairings for each. Elijah was our server. He was excellent. He provided great customer service, and knowledgable information of the wines and pairings with our salad, main course and dessert. We left here happy and will definitely return."
"Concannon was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to go the next day on Monday. We did not have a reservation but got there right when they opened at 1030. On Mondays they have a special, 2 for 1 tasting price, otherwise it is $30/person. Trevor greeted us kindly at the door and was our wine expert throughout the tasting. We sat outside under the pavilion and Trevor told us all about their different wines. There is lots of seating both inside and out. Trevor was very knowledgeable and friendly ! My favorite was the "reserve rose of petite sirah". Can't wait to visit again!"
"This little area in Ripon has some amazing food options and the Vine House is on the top of that list. From the cozy ambiance to the fantastic and attention service, this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Ripon. They change their menu weekly so my food review may not apply, but their quality is top notch. Also make sure to check their website for their opening hours as Yelp is currently not up to date.I came for dinner and brunch and personally my favorite item from the dinner was actually the French Dip ($19) and for Breakfast/Brunch the The Vine House Benedict ($17) was a 10/10 as well. The French Dip doesn't come with sides, but it's filling as is and they use really high quality cuts of meat. The melted provolone and the au jus were perfect. For their breakfast I also love their Benedict because they spread spinach artichoke dip on the english muffine and it really makes it better than your standard Benedict.I would for sure come back to Vine House every time whenever I can because the great quality and service is unmatched."
"Went for my Birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! Always has been anytime we have gone! The staff is friendly and the chef has it down!!Thank you for a wonderful dinner!"
