The venue was wonderful with its outdoor setting and tents for our guests to opt to spend the night in. We got married May 29th, 2021 and it was the perfect day. Love that it was next to the river. So many of our guests said it was one of, or the, most beautiful weddings they had ever been too. This venue is great with the different locations allowing for a unique setting for the ceremony, dinner, cocktail hour, and dancing. There is so much space. The venue was also incredible because they informed us a local business would have a live band during our wedding and that they would work with them on the key moments. We checked in with the venue as we were concerned about our live musician, a harpist, having to compete with another live band close by, as well as our first dance. Laura worked with the business to coordinate the live band playing the following day. While I felt bad for that, I really appreciated our venue working on preserving those key moments for our wedding. We went back and forth on going with Coloma Weddings for our catering. We are SO glad we went with them; heard lots of good feedback on the dinner which was delicious!! Thank you for much for everything!"

The parking lot has "stadium lighting" to ensure proper security.Best of all, this venue won't break your piggy bank.....since they aren't a "winery" you don't have to buy their wines and you're not forced to pay for pricey plated dinners.Jamie (owner/manager) has a philosophy of not "nickel & diming" her couples, she is very easy going and helpful.Acoustics & sight lines are excellent. Probably one of the best wedding venues I've seen, in this price range."

Between our real life jobs, all the other big and small things we had to do to prepare, when it came time to figure out what company we were going to order tables, chairs, and linens from, we were pulling out our hair. At this point, we were still planning to use an iPod for our music, and we shortly realized what we needed was someone with insider information, someone that knew vendors personally, and could get us organized and back on track.We had met Kristy more than year ago at a bridal show, and remembered her fondly. Oh, and her booth was super cute and had a rustic chic thing going. After ripping apart all of our bridal show handouts (which we really never used), we made contact, met her for coffee to gauge our needs and never looked back.She not only made working with vendors a breeze (she knows a ton of people and knows what questions to ask you so that you get the things you need), but she got us a DJ which we sorely needed on really short notice. No you should not try to have an iPod as your main source of music/entertainment. I fully admit this was a bit of an insane thing I was pretty stuck on for a long time in the name of cost savings. It is NOT worth it!Our day was amazing. One of the best compliments we received from a dear friend was that she had attended a $200K+ wedding a few weeks before ours and said that ours was so much more personal, enjoyable, and beautiful. We had a pretty small budget, but having Kristy as our Wing Woman was one of the best things we spent money on, and even though we didn't plan on the expense, it made everything go smoothly and we didn't have to think about the little details, only about each other.She became a friend for life when on the day of our wedding, when my wife was set on having a purple rose for a boutineer, and the "purple roses" we ordered from the floral warehouse arrived pink, she showed up at the wedding site with a single rose in the PERFECT shade of purple and the rest is HISTORY.In short:1. She knows her stuff, is professional, and can keep you organized.2. She offers different scales of service, and can help even the best DIYer succeed.3. Don't plan your special day without her!"

They are a stone's throw away from her house and we all were equally shocked about this little hidden gem. I never knew this winery existed until she told us about this place. Upon arrival, we passed by an ostrich farm and taken down a small road which we thought Google was going to lead us astray. As we arrived, it felt like were taken away to a lovely countryside oasis out to Lodi or Napa. My friend made a reservation for 3 but only 2 of us were tasting (one of our friends was expecting so no tasting for her). Both my friend and I chose the mixed red and white wine (classic) flights. I'm more of a white wine person than red and having a varied mix is great. The other wine flight option (gold) appears to only be red. We started off with an almond champagne from Lodi. I love almond champagne! Enjoyed most of the wines offered in the wine flight but what really surprised me was the Malbec. It is a red wine and was my absolute favorite of the entire flight which had cherry notes. My least favorite was the Vermentino which was supposed to have a fruity floral note but was bitter and had an off taste to it. However, that's just me and my tongue. I wish they had an option of a bucket for when visitors don't like a certain wine in the flight, that we can just empty out to or a chance to wash our glasses with water in between tastings. The winery was pretty busy and is a great place to escape to without traveling too far away from home. They do have options for wine purchase and the ostriches made an appearance (albeit on a lunch pail)! The winery is also a beautiful lot for options of a wedding as well. They also have special events happening in June. If you're in the area or live close by, check out this hidden gem if you haven't already done so!"

We couldn't imagine going through this process without doing Full Planning with Becca. Looking back through our timeline, it was almost a year long process of planning with her. Becca was dialed in 100% of the time for our Zoom meetings, calls, and in person meetings. We felt bad because it was never us chasing down Becca for anything, it was sometimes us falling behind or her needing something from us. It was always reassuring knowing Becca had our back and was on top of anything that could've slipped through the cracks. Becca's professionalism and temperament through the whole process was a breath of fresh air. You never know what you're getting into when planning a big wedding until you start going to work on it. The encouragement on some of those more trying days was always appreciated. Working with someone who is very genuine, but also has passion about what they do is essential when picking a wedding planner. Becca is off the charts when it comes to this, nothing ever felt artificial or manufactured and it always made us excited for our meetings and planning with her.As time went on, we knew we were in store for the wedding of our dreams. Becca made sure that we were always making progress with each meeting and doing our best to put all of our focus on enjoying the process. Becca did an incredible job with her preferred vendors, all of the mockups and meetings we had with the vendors were great and this let us have even more anticipation leading into wedding week. The week of the wedding, we were getting daily check-ins and encouraging texts from Becca. All of these little gestures throughout the process lead to a ton of happiness for us. Our rehearsal day at Grand Island Mansion was an amazing day and Becca as usual had everything under control. It was nice to be able to soak in the moment the day prior and truly know that everything was going to be perfect on our wedding day (and if it wasn't, we wouldn't know :) The day of the wedding was amazing!  Both of our days started by Becca checking in with us at our hotel and making sure we were all set for the day. We didn't do a first look so while Becca was working with our vendors, she was also making sure the coast was clear when we were navigating around our venue. Fast forward to the ceremony, we couldn't of been happier with how everything turned out. All of the vendors that Becca suggested, exceeded expectations and knocked it out of the park. Becca was running around like crazy the whole night but was always there whenever we needed anything and constantly reminding us to take some time between the 2 of us and soak everything in. We couldn't of asked for a more spectacular wedding and we're forever grateful for Becca. Bartenders were generous with the amount of liquor they put in the mix drinks. They knew what they were doing and will try their best to make whatever drink you want. Bathrooms were clean. By pure coincidence, we both stumbled upon an Amador County Valentine's Day Wine tour. The six hour tour would depart Rancho Cordova via a luxury motor coach, and shuttle us to Amador County for a tour of three wineries. During the journey into Amador County, the hosts would serve beer and Mimosas (bringing your own bottle was also encouraged). With that being said, we were all in!As directed, we arrived at 9:45am sharp. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the host (Mrs. Rachelle), and her husband (Mr. Wyatt). We immediately boarded, and 15 minutes later we were on our way to Amador. Roughly 10 minutes into the trip, Rachelle & Wyatt began pouring Mimosas and offering little snacks (because we all know what happens when you drink on an empty stomach). During the 45 minute trek into Amador, we engaged in conversation with other couples on the bus (this is vital in a generation that doesn't prefer conventional interactions), while Rachelle and Wyatt mingled around the bus to ensure that everyone was fully accommodated. 45 minutes later we arrived at our first stop, Karmere winery.The staff at Karmere was extremely accommodating, and did a great job of providing some background information in regards to their winery and the overall Amador County wine tasting experience. We were so pleased by their customer service and their wine, that we purchased a couple of bottles. After an hour at Karmere, we left and headed to our next destination, Dobra Zemjla.Dobra Zemjla was a nice intimate environment, very Valentine's Day appropriate. They offered chocolates, cheese, and cheese-stuffed green olives to accompany the wine tasting. Although accommodating, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd from our bus. After everyone made their way through the wine tasting menu, we all headed outside to the picnic tables for lunch. Rachelle and Wyatt had a full platter of sandwich options, drinks, and chips prepared for consumption. This gave everyone an opportunity to converse while soaking up some of their wine. After lunch, we packed up and headed to our last stop, Bella Piazza.Bella Piazza had a beautiful backyard vibe with an elevated view of Amador County. So beautiful of a view that we decided to conduct our wine tasting outdoors on the patio with some four other couples. In between wine tasting, we had an icebreaker at the table that set the tone for some hilarious revelations! The staff did a great job of quenching our thirst at the appropriate moments (some of us even received seconds of our favorite wine). Unfortunately, all great things come to an end, so an hour later we were on the bus heading back to Rancho Cordova.My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the wine tour and most importantly, the services rendered by Rachelle and Wyatt. Throughout the tour they were professional and accommodating (due to their positive Yelp reviews, this came as no surprise). We met some great people, and may have actually met a new couple to hang out with (meeting likeminded people is always a difficult task)! We'll keep our eyes peeled for future Cain Events!"

Andrea was prompt in answering all my questions which made my wedding planning easy peezy!She setup an appointment at Ramona;s house where I was able to view all the items available for rent. Now, I believe it is at warehouse. Ramona was soo sweet. She even suggested ideas for DIYs so that we can have personalized touches to our wedding.Adding/deleting items to my order was easy. Everything is soo cute that I wanted to rent everything. They do styling but I was not able to do the styling since Ramona was not available. I did have them deliver the decor to my venue so that I didn't have to worry about it. It was all pretty easy (as I keep saying). I did have a few guest comment on them so I know they were a hit! People even wanted to borrow them but of course it was not mine =(After the wedding, the only downer was that we did have 1 burlap that was stained and one that was missing...it was easy to replace.Overall I would do it again.
