I didn't catch her name but she had purple highlights. Coach Lisa put on a great program that was simple to follow yet effective. The facility was clean and had up to date equipment. Their bathrooms even had amenities and a shower. We love that our membership can be used anywhere in the US. Fitness is what brings everyone together, consistency is key and the camp makes it possible to still workout even when you are not at home. "This review is LONG OVERDUE. I discovered SWEAT when I came home last year for a friend's wedding. Not wanting to slack on my exercise plans, I signed up for some spin classes here. The Real Ryder bikes were something else! I'd done plenty of spin classes before, but these bikes gave me a workout I hadn't felt before. The downside of no longer living in Stockton is not being a regular here, but when I'm home for the holidays or other occasions, I try to make a point of doing a class or two.I definitely recommend SWEAT! I do not agree with "imelda"'s review .. my son is three years old. He is learning to listen, and follow instructions. The teachers are strict , patience and fun. My son loves the class. And I love the way the teachers encourage my son to learn. I enrolled my four year old daughter as well. I highly recommend this martial art studio. I visit three studios to compre our options and Manteca Martial Marts is the best one.

Really great place for kids to go and learn some disipline while still becoming their own person. Teachers and other students are truly amazing. They also do lion-dances for parades and such--- its quite breath taking if you havnt experienced it-- you must! Studio is super clean and organzied, a must for any potential student from 5-500!

Love it! I came here for the motivation after having my third baby. The Camp has not disappointed, I come for one hour of me time and I leave feeling so refreshed. I am stronger since starting here and continue to feel the motivation to show up! The Coaches are helpful and interactive. I love that everyone here is at a different level and you're not being judged for what level of fitness you're at. Also the hours work! As a working mom of three I can always find a class time that is best for my day and busy schedule!Try it, you won't regret it! Invest in yourself!

I've been a member at CrossFit Tracy (CFT) for almost 1.5 years now, which is by far the longest I have stuck with ANY workout program or training regiment--EVER. If you read nothing else, know this: If you commit to it, be it 2 days a week, or 7 days a week...CFT produces amazing results and does so amongst an amazing group of people.I started as a 29yr. old, moderate health--my only real exercise routine was some occasional running (3-4 miles/mo. if I was lucky). The coaching at CFT is the secret sauce for success. All you have to do is show up (they offer a ton of class times, from as early as 530am all the way to 830pm), and the coaches will lead you from there. There is a strong attention to good form and mechanics, and the entire coaching staff adapts well to leading groups of 10-25, while still managing a thorough 1-on-1 interaction. They truly make fitness fun and something that you WANT to be better at, and it feels personalized to your own progress.I wasn't particularly keen on the idea of working out in a group of people: it intimidated me, I am highly competitive, yet scared of failure. What I found though (almost immediately) is that the CrossFit community isn't your typical juiced up globo-gym crowd. Everyone here is at different levels of fitness, of different shapes and sizes, but EVERYONE encourages each other towards progress. The workouts (WODs) will definitely humble you, but what gets you through it is the constant encouragement of the CFT members doing the same workout, right next to you. 1.5 years in for me, and the community aspect is something I enjoy the most about CFT. I've made some lifelong friends here and week after week we push one another to be better than yesterday.RESULTS. Plain and simple, you'll get results at CFT. I started to see strength gains after about 3 months of effort, attending regular CF classes 3-4 days a week (they also have entry level bootcamp classes). After 6 months or so, physically, I could see improvements in muscle definition (I previously had none, haha), quality of life improved dramatically (lower back soreness gone, sleeping better, more energy day-to-day). Over a year into it, I've got abs that I haven't seen since I was in high school. CFT is something I look forward to on a daily basis now. I have been attending classes regularly 4-6 times a week, and absolutely love it.If you're intimidated, don't be. CrossFit Tracy is by far one of the best decisions I've made for myself in a long time. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Pure Form Fitness Training is a great place for anyone of all skill levels.At first I was a bit skeptical when I first signed up for the group classes and walked in on the first day. Looking around at the other members in my group (not meaning to sound conceited) but I thought the workout was going to be a breeze. Boy was I wrong. It was one of the most intense workouts I've had; and at the end of the first session, I was lying on the sidewalk out side the gym for at least 15 minutes before I event felt comfortable to attempt to drive home.Now, don't be intimidated by my experience. The neat thing about the workout is you put as much into it as you want. You determine how hard you want to push yourself. As un-intuitive as it seems, this is a "one-size-fits-all" workout that really works for EVERYONE. Trust me.The only down-side of this training center is the hours. The hours were very limited and I wasn't sure how often I would be able to make it with my busy and varied schedule as a grad student. However, coming in January, I heard Carl ("THE" trainer) is going to be increasing the hours!Finally, Carl "THE" trainer is great. He is very encouraging and knowledgeable. He even sends out occasional emails with tips and reminders on eating healthy and other fitness tips. I really look forward to those emails as well and forward them to several of my friends!Overall, a great work out program. I highly recommend it.

We love this place! Coach Adam is an amazing teacher and has such a love for the game - it really shows. Spacious area with multiple hitting bays and workout area in back. You can rent the bays for team practices or workouts and the owners are such good people. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for baseball or softball instruction and/or facility rental.

"I was officially introduced to Get Fit by my workplace who participated in their 6 week business program called Corp Fit. I have heard about Get Fit from other people who I've seen has lost a lot of weight and looks healthy and strong: men & women. Doing Corp Fit has rearranged my perspective on food and how it's supposed to fuel your body and not meant to be a battle three-five times a day. The program has strengthen my exercise endurance, encouragement to others, and motivation to live a healthy and clean lifestyle. I am currently in my second week of Corp Fit and already I am seeing a lot changes! Thanks to the accountability of my co-workers, coaches, friends and family, I have been able to change my lifestyle and the way I do life in general. Working out at Get Fit was a bit intimidating at first because there were just so many people! Each class has at least 30-50 people working at different stations and doing different things. During the first 5-10 minutes of class, they demonstrate to you each of the moves at Level 2 and 3 and sometimes Level 1. They encourage you to do Level 2, but you can always ask the instructor or assistant what's the Level 1 equivalent. I love how you can always hear the instructor by his headset with every word of instruction or encouragement given. What's unique about Get Fit are the assistants who are the second pair of eyes for the coaches who are watching you to make sure you are doing the moves correctly as to not injury yourself. I would definitely come here more often after my Corp Fit program is finished, and continue building a healthy lifestyle! "This gym has everything I need for a great workout. No more days where I'd go to the gym, grab some weights lift, run, and then lift some more without any idea of what I'm doing. All I cared about was lifting more or running faster. Coach Liz is very attentive and excellent at correcting your form in her boot camps or personal training. Her main focus is making sure her clients are doing her workouts in the proper form where you won't damage or hurt yourself leading to bettering yourself in her workouts. Come in for one of her written up workouts and you'll be coming back. Lodi is extremely lucky to have this personalized gym just outside of downtown."
"I belonged to SOS Club until the facility closed a few days ago. Back in February, I noticed a man about my age (+/- 60) working out and in very good condition and good strength, doing several pull-ups at a time, etc. I asked him how long it took him to get in shape, he said a year. When I asked him how he did it, he referred me to Kevin at Sculpt Fitness.I have struggled with my weight for 30 years as I commute to the Bay Area and am a desk jockey at work. At the beginning of this year, and age 59, I found myself 90 pounds overweight. I joined Sculpt Fitness about February 1 of 2017 and lost 40 pounds but end of May thru strength and core training. This kind of training is superior to cardio training, because your metabolism stays elevated for a day or two afterwards it, cardio dies down shortly after work out. My balance has greatly improved.Unfortunately, two three week vacations in the last 2 months I put a few pounds back on, but after three weeks back in Modesto, I am back down 40 pounds from where I started. I just signed up for a new round of personal training that will take me towards the end of 2017. I look forward to more success, with a goal of losing another 40 lb by the end of the year.The equipment in this small gym is outstanding, the latest stuff in very good condition. The personal attention, and excellent workouts are well worth the money spent.This place is not cheap, but I have been very pleased with the results and I'm sure you will be too.When considering the cost, be sure to compare the alternative of inactivity and a unhealthy lifestyle. "If you are looking for a good CrossFit Gym, AOF is a great place. It is not the biggest gym, but it has everything you need to get a good CrossFit style workout. CrossFit can be intimidating if you are new, but all the instructors are awesome. All of the gym members are very friendly and welcoming with new members. They have a bunch of morning classes and a few evening classes that should accommodate most people's work schedule. They recently started offering keycard access for members electing to workout outside of regular group class schedules. To take advantage of this feature, it is an additional $30 a month and time slots to utilize the gym are as follows: 3AM-430AM, 1030AM-430PM & 7PM-1159pmAll in all, this is a great gym for beginners to advanced CrossFitters."

After attending a free class for evaluation, he immediately enjoyed it and wanted to do it again.A lot of his friends go to other martial arts schools in the Bay Area, the rates here are higher than what my fellow parents are paying. $120/month for attending 3-4 times a week or $65/month for a once a week class. I am giving it a 5-star though because I feel like they do have a great program for my son's age group (3-1/2 to 6 years old). He looks forward to every class because his instructors are great. His favorite is Mr. Young. He teaches discipline and manners aside from the usual martial arts moves that the kids need to learn. He is also very engaging and funny but strict when the situation needs it to be.Their belt system is respectable. I've heard of other schools that will award black belts in a span of few weeks! I think that's ridiculous. I believe being a black belt is like getting a bachelor's degree. All the moves must come second nature to you before you graduate to that degree. But that could just be me and my high standards. Woah!I'm contemplating on taking their adult Muay Thai/Kickboxing classes and maybe update my review afterwards. But if you are a parent in the Tracy area looking for a Martial Arts school for you kids, I highly recommend that you check out this place. "Hungry for Success Athletics (H4S) is a indoor performance facility located on the east end of Tracy, California. My daughter began training with Coach Jon in the fall of 2017. She had a goal to make the high school girls varsity basketball team for the high school she would be attending in the fall of 2018. When she first began training with coach Jon, she truly didn't understand her own body mechanics and now through training strength, speed and agility it has better prepared her on the hardwood. Almost 10 month later, my daughter who is now entering into her freshmen year of high school has not only played with, but has started in every game with the high school girls varsity basketball team throughout the 2018 summer league. Not only has the training provided by H4S helped with her strength and agility, but it's helped with injury prevention as well. Girls and boys bodies differ in the way they grow, thus this is why it is imperative to protect their bodies as they continue to grow throughout their adolescent years through proper training. Coach Jon prides himself on teaching youth and teen athletes the benefits of hard work, dedication and attention to detail. The facility is equipped with open hitting tunnels for the baseball/softball athlete, TRX Squat racks, resisitence bans, medicine balls, Olympic barbells, rubber plates, kettle bells and a much more. "Who says you can't just pole dance....for fun?! My friends and I came here to use our $5 coupon for an "Intro to Pole Dancing" class! This place is kind of hard to find because it's located right under a freeway and the entrance is in the back. There's a small room in the back of a warehouse like area where it's nicely furnished with about 9 poles from ceiling to floor all in front of a huge mirror for you to check yourself out while doing the class! Oh and...COME EARLY!! If you don't come early enough, you might have to share pole with another person! The one hour class was really fun and the instructor does a good job of transitioning you into learning harder moves. And don't be scared to come to this class! My friends and I were scared we wouldn't be able to do anything when we got here but we actually got more done that we thought we could! And everybody who showed up that day was a newbie too so we all felt good about ourselves :)Your arms and inner thighs are really sore the next couple of days but it's totally worth it. She teaches you how to climb up the pole, do a couple of twirls, and spin around the pole too. Also, WEAR SHORTS TO THE CLASS. Your skin has better traction than your pants, and she'll ask you to roll up your pants anyway if you show up in pants. She also offers fun "Girls' Nights" if you want to come in a group of girlfriends. She also offers discounts for students as well.So come here with an open attitude and ready to be sexy!"
"Our visits here were always pretty cordial and quiet. Lots of people frequent this location. They do get pretty busy during their peak hours which tends to be after the 3pm hour. They open fairly early Monday-Friday which is nice for commuters or people that work early or like to be the early bird getting the work so to speak. There are classes offered, indoor pool, personal trainers, and a fair amount of equipment to choose from. They are open on weekends but close earlier on those days. When we signed up back in September of last year, it was nice to know that it is month to month and no contract with no attached cancellation fees. Convenient location for us being living close to the location."

They are good people and want the best for all of their Got Muscle family. It is busy around 5pm Monday through Friday and busy Saturday mornings..
