"First time here. No wait to get in which was nice. Basket of bread and garlic butter was a good touch. They were on it for drinks and refills as well. We had the prime rib, ribeye, personal pizza and fish/chips. The service was great. The food was good. The only part that was off was the prime rib was supposed to be medium rare and it was medium well. All in all we would go back."
"Always good food, drinks, crowd & service. The place is clean, service fairly quick which is why it is frequently the same folks week after week."
"The ambience was just what I needed.Classy and romantic. I ordered the mai tai drink and OMG sooooo good!My date ordered a ribeye and I got the wagyu.Mouthwatering steak cooked perfectly, the mushroom risotto was delicious also. We also wanted to try their crab fried rice, which I didn't really care for. Overall-besides waiting an hr to get our food, food was hot, cooked right and delicious."
"I've been here twice now and both times were fantastic! The first time was for dinner and my friend and I ordered a bunch of sushi and the crab Rangoon. The presentation for the sushi was crazy! So not expected. Our server was Jessica and she was on point! The next time was for lunchtime. My husband and I ordered the hibachi and a couple rolls. We had Josh for our server and he was excellent. We never had to ask for refills on our beverages. He kept them coming. The food was great both times and I love the atmosphere. It will be great when they get their liquor license for those who love to partake in alcohol. We will be back for sure."
"Delicious! Great price for the quality of food and service. Definitely would come back. Mashed potatoes could have been warmer but that's my only complaint!"
"We had an incredible brunch/lunch. The view and service was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that's looking for a casual place to hang out."
"Well decorated and smoked old fashioned would order again. Dinner was good but would come back for drinks and lounge"
"International Flavors is nice with it. Great customer service, was quick with my order and the food taste great. He recommended to put both sauces all over the food and he was absolutely right. Make sure you put both sauces on everything. The price might be a lot but they actually give good portions. Definitely give this place a try."
"Awesome place. We went to pizza around the corner and came here. Our bartender Zack was outstanding! He recommended drinks and told us about the bar. We should have tried the food because the menu looked awesome. You have to visit this place!"

This restaurant is extremely deceiving from the outside. You literally get the quality you pay for in your steak. I have the ribs and my husband had the steak and amazingly enough, both were very good. My ribs were fall off the bone quality and my husband steak was as he requested (rare). Customer service was exceptional, and the price was reasonable for a "steakhouse".Quality of food: A Quality of service: A Price: $$

Came here for my dad's birthday because we wanted to spoil him a little bit. I'm vegan, so I was a little nervous about the menu. When the waiter came by, we mentioned my preferences to her and she told us she would go talk to the chef to see what they could do and they told me they could make me a vegan pasta. They brought all the food out and brought me a big plate of veggie pasta adorned with pretty little edible flowers. My dad and I were the only ones who finished our entire meals! Needless to say the pasta was delicious and I loved that they were able to accommodate me. Very nice staff and the ambiance in there was very nice too.

First time here and will not be our last. Beautiful restaurant and had great service and food! We went during lunch and each ordered a hibachi lunch, one steak & chicken and one steak & shrimp. Hibachi meals had great flavor and the veggies were amazing too! The fried rice was a bit dry but we added some leftover gyoza sauce we had from our appetizer and it improved it. Appetizer- Gyoza 5/5Hibachi Meal: Miso Soup 4/5Salad w/ Ginger 5/5Salad w/ Yum Yum 5/5Meat 5/5Veggies 5/5Fried rice 2/5Crunchy Crab Roll 5/5Service: 5/5Overall Price for Food: 5/5Great place and will be returning!

What a beautiful restaurant on the river in Rio Vista. Having lived in Isleton for a brief period, we made many stops in Rio Vista but never had the chance to eat here until recently and had a great experience. They were doing a meal special for Valentines day, Prime Rib and Lobster special with sides, 2 for $90, a steal for the meal! I like pretty rare prime rib and that is what I got with a heap of horseradish, fried potatoes, and green beans. The lobster tail was a good size, nicely cooked, and served with warm butter of course. We enjoyed our evening looking out at the stormy weather- too windy and raining to keep the boat out that evening but it does have dock for guests to pull up at if you are traveling along the river. This place is not just for "fancy" evenings out, the locals come here for a good dinner and they serve lots of options so there is something for everyone. They have a full bar and serve bottles of wine. I would love to come back for lunch and try that clam chowder!

I had a truly exceptional dining experience! From the start, the fine wine selection and superior cocktails set the tone for an evening of culinary delight. The new menu, while slightly pricier than the previous one--likely due to inflation--offered a variety of dishes that were nothing short of amazing. I enjoyed a range of expertly prepared dishes, including steaks, chicken marsala, hummus, and calamari, all of which were flavorful and beautifully presented. It was clear that the restaurant is committed to using high-quality ingredients and creating memorable flavors.Equally impressive was the service. Our waitress went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met, offering attentive and thoughtful service throughout the evening. It's always a pleasure when the staff makes you feel truly taken care of, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience without any interruptions. What stood out to me even more was the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. It was so refreshing to see a place that embraces and celebrates all people, regardless of background. The inclusivity and hospitality made it feel like a place where everyone is valued and appreciated. We ended the evening with desserts all around, which was the perfect conclusion to what had been a wonderful meal. Overall, it's clear that the restaurant has crafted a menu that balances quality and creativity, making the price increase feel well worth it. This was truly an evening well spent, and both the food and service exceeded my expectations.

Super excited to try these guys out because I love hibachi style food but not necessarily the price you pay when you go to a sit down restaurant for it...I know it includes a show but really, how many times do you need to see an onion volcano? Just saying...They were posted up at Stocklandia on Friday night and we arrived right when they opened at 5. They were running late which was annoying to me only because it was really hot that day. Service was pleasant enough although not what I would call super friendly, lol. Ordered a steak and chicken plate and added mushrooms. I was told about a 35 minute wait...ok. I was only third in line so that seemed kind of long. It turned out to be closer to 45 minutes so I was really hoping this food was worth it. The food was really, really good. Steak and chicken had a nice char on it and it was served over garlic fried rice. The addition of the mushrooms was also a good call. They give you 2 sauces -a kind of sweet one and a really spicy one. Both were super good for dipping the meat in. I think it was close to $20 for my plate which may seem high for a food truck but if you've been to Domo or Shirasoni then you know this is actually a steal. Haha Overall-YES I would go again and order this super yummy and fresh food with the knowledge that I'm going to be waiting a minute, lol. If you like hibachi style food but not the price then this may be your answer!

"We went to Midgely's Public House on December 23rd to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is located in Lincoln Village in Stockton and the entire area was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I booked a reservation through Open Table and check-in was simple and easy. The lady who checked us in also wished us a Happy Anniversary which was nice! The hostess took us to a table that wasn't clean, but we stood by waiting while she quickly bussed and cleaned it. This was a little strange since the restaurant was empty and there were plenty of booths and tables available. Our server, was great - very attentive and friendly. My husband and I ordered a dozen oysters which were superb, flavorful and good sized. I had a Bailey's coffee and my husband ordered a crisp Savignon Blanc. We shared a French Onion soup (perfection) and each ordered the house ribeye steaks which were nicely done. For dessert, we split a creme brulee which was delicious. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The Happy Hour menu and specials looked pretty good and we're excited to try it!"
"We went back and saw Misty again :-) Also met the owners, the Son and his Mom. Very nice folks as well as a dining room server who greeted us and sat us. Thank you for a good experience. We had some appetizers there and also took food to go. The escargot is melt in mouth tender served with toasted soft bread and real butter. The frog legs are cooked perfectly as well and a very nice light breading maybe some cornmeal with white flower? Our family also enjoyed the beef tips stroganoff. On our way out we visited the dining room and their banquet room. I used the ladies bathroom and it was clean and tastefully decorated vintage theme with a touch 4th of July."
"Food was good and the customer service was great. The steak was good but a little bit on a pricey side. Loved their bread and soup."
"Disclaimer: I love flemings, however the service and the ambiance along with the food collectively get a 5 star review. Overall food for me this day was amazing. We ordered chicken lollipops for appetizer, my husband and I both ordered steaks, green beans and red skinned mashed potatoes. I'm more of a baked potato person but these mashers were amazing. Green beans were cooked and sautéd perfectly. Steak was juicy didn't requiere any sauce or extra butter. Host and waiter were great. For dessert we ordered banana bread pudding, wasn't a big fan bread wasn't as soft as I expected it. Would return, wish I could go now."
"We docked our boat in Isleton and went in search for something to eat. Peter's Steak House was recommended to us by a City Inspector after we asked him. He could not have recommended a better place! The food was fabulous, the service, by Peter himself was amazing, pricing is extremely fair and the ambience spectacular! Peter is a great guy, funny and full of great information. He and his son run the Steak House and His wife and daughter run their Chinese Restaurant down the street named Pineapple. His restaurant has a beautiful large room upstairs suitable for group functions. I think he said over 30 guests he does not charge for the room. We will definitely go back as often as possible, maybe hit Pineapple for lunch and the Steakhouse for Dinner. Great plan!"
"2-1-25...7:30pmAs soon as you walk in your greeted with a welcoming hello and then your eyes are fixated on the fresh steaks & lobster to choose from in the glass case. Immediately you see the grill and here the sizzle from the steaks being prepared. I sat in the bar area next to the ohh so warm fire place that was a blaze. Ordered a blended strawberry margarita & the steak and prawns plate. The ambiance definitely has an ole skool vibe to it. Service was great. I will for sure stop by this steakhouse again"
"I went back a couple days later and had a great dinner. I had a medium rare tomahawk steak, loaded baked potato and broccoli. It was all prepared very well. The steak was cooked just right. It was large enough for 2.5 meals for me. I even gnawed on the bone! The potato was very good, as were the veggies. My friend had the filet mignon. It was large, cooked to her liking and she said she it was very good. The restaurant was pretty quiet, only a couple of other tables, but it was a Thursday night, so it might have just been quiet. It allowed my friend and I to chat comfortable through dinner. We were inside looking out onto the patio, which was very cute. There was a homey, rustic victoriana feeling to the restaurant that carried out onto the patio and even into the restroom. The service was excellent. Debra served us and told us about the history of the property while she kept our glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed. My friend and I both said on the way home that we wished Debra had had more time to sit with us and talk. We both really liked her. I I'm looking forward to have a nice cozy dinner on the patio with more friends. I still would love to see their menu on their website, including the times the kitchen is serving. One caveat: THIS IS A CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT. However, they do have an ATM on site."
"Service and food excellent! I appreciated the good vibe and great service! Food excellent! This place hits all the marks. We will be back!"
"A great place to dine before going to the Gallo Center which is a block away. We had an amazing meal here! The Shrimp Bruschetta was so delicious. My husband really enjoyed the Ribeye with Gorgonzola and Mushrooms with mashed potatoes. I had the Salmon and Shrimp with roasted zucchini and red potatoes and lemon caper sauce. Loved it! Hats off to the chef! They have a bar. They could add more wine options though. They also have Jazz every other Monday."
"The food is good. I ordered 14 oz rib eye medium rare. Very good with onion and mushroom as toppings. The service is good. They're very prompt to items asked and they will check what you need frequently. The thing I don't like the most is there are flying flies throughout the course. That's really bothersome."
"Early dinner at Banta Inn tonight. The food and service was fantastic. Great hidden gem on the outskirts of town."
"The service was marginal at best OVERALL. Ambiance had only country music playing what a shocker in oakdale.... My burrito was less than desirable and my girls she though was ok... the service was good when we came initially in for chips and salsa and to refill our water cup.... the chips came out hot... the salsa had a good flavor big peaces of cilantro mostly stems.... (Yuk) so i base a Mexican restaurant by there chips and salsa partially .... So nothing to repot to bad on that part... my girl got identically to what i got pollo and me carne asada wet burrito only difference is i like mine on the side so i asked it for on the side he attempted (server) to have me get the burrito that has no wet sauce.... I expressed i want the same burrito just with the sauce on the side... i no that places will attempted to drown a burrito in sauce for a lack of spice or flavor to there meat. At that point after i took the first bite i realized ordering the burrito was a bad idea... things only got worse from here. i asked for a check i can sense he could tell i wasn't happy he asked if we want any dessert of drinks(up selling) .... Nice try but not today so the bill comes out i forgot to mention i ordered a side of beans to dip the chips in i read they were 3$ on the menu ... but he asked if we wanted cheese and sauce we said sure, so noticing the Oaxaca cheese was stale and not good. So he bring out the receipt for us to pay and it had 4 items Item $15.00 (burrito)Item $15.00 (burrito)Which i was on board with but also two other charges Item $2.00 (????)Item $8.00 (bean dip are you @&#% kidding me)I mind you i mentioned we only ordered 3 items i said id like a itemized bill so i can actually see what im paying for ... i asked what are those two charges for the 2$ for hes states the "red" sauce i said i wanted a wet burrito just the sauce on the side i was like no you guys think im a sucker. I asked is the 8$ what i think it was for the beab dip and he said yes.lol so for a some beans its 3$ but for a lil bit of queso and almost no sauce a extra 5$ lol wow. I new at that point i realized most of there customers were drinking alcohol beverages and me and my girl werent having any drinks other than water. I over heard the guy serving us saying it was his last day i figure he just had ti up sell and charge US for some items that should of came with ...... long story shot my girl used the rest room she cane out quick and i asked her ur never that quick she said i didnt use it so i automatically new she was referring to it being nasty. So i think a two stars is generous plus i no most people don't pay attention to 1star reviews. After taxes & being overcharged by 10 dollars i will never go back i will stick to Suzy Belens ever time now! So you lost a customer for over charging a customer.... The 10 dollars you got from me could of been multiplied by 4 times a month coming back to visit thats how much we eat out 4 times a month... so your loss not mine! He never brought me a itemized bill back and never took no money off the bill and brought me the bill you will see below smh ! Its rare that i think a business should go out of business i see this establishment has been open since 1998 idk how, seriously all the clients must just go for the booze and be shit faced tipsy!"
"We try something different every time we go here and everything is always amazing! You can tell the cooks know what they are doing! The owner is amazing and isn't afraid to refill water and clean tables! Definitely our go to place for date night!"
"I've been here countless times and realized I had not given this establishment a review. This is my go to spot for birthdays, Mother's Day etc... The owner Jason is very personable. Brian is in charge and he runs the house smoothly. The food has never failed to satisfy. The shaved potatoes, shrimp chili and the tempura green beans are the best. The lobster ravioli and the Alfredo's are also really good. For lunch, I love the crispy chicken sandwich, that's not on the dinner menu. They have a full bar, they have your typical drinks, your wines, beers and non alcoholic beverages. The ambiance is dressy/casual. It can get a bit loud sometimes but not enough to be disruptive, more people enjoying each others company. A bonus: 5 miles from my house!!!"
