"Da Boccery has definitely changed under its new ownership! A few years ago, there were four bocce courts inside, but now there are only two--the rest of the space has been taken over by four golf simulators. The whole place has a much more modern, hip, and open floor plan, making it feel less formal than before. Instead of a traditional dining setup, it's mostly booths and tall communal tables, giving it a more casual, social vibe. There's also an arcade area with loud music, adding to the energetic atmosphere. Outside, the bocce courts remain, but they've also added two axe-throwing stations. Pricing is on the higher side--$75/hour for bocce, $30 per person for axe throwing, and $25/hour for shuffleboard. Food-wise, it was solid. The appetizers, like fries and calamari, were good, and they offer a decent selection of pizzas, salads, pastas, and sandwiches. Overall, Da Boccery is a fun spot for a night out with friends or family if you're looking for an interactive, lively environment rather than a traditional dining experience."

"Our first time here a few weeks ago when my sister and her family were all visiting from Ohio for the week. We reserved 2 lanes side by side and had the best of times bowling and enojoying the clean and friendly environment at FLB. The bowling place overall is well kept and in a very organized manner. The staff very friendly and welcoming and the entire experience was truly never ending fun filled with smiles galore and laughter with cheers as we bowled and had fun with the music as well. Love that the music wasn't too loud. Some places the music is so loud you need to yell in order to hear one another however FLB had the music just loud enough to enjoy and still be able to talk to one another and hear one another. Plenty of parking as well which is a nice plus. The only draw back to this bowling place is as soon as the hour or 2 hour time frame in our case is up the score board ends as well. We were not able to finish our last turn for 2 of us to get our final scores. Just about 2 to 3 minutes or so and we would have been able to finish the game. Would prefer if we could pay by how many rounds we could play instead of per hour so that we could complete each round. We were laughing and trying our fastest to finish up before the clock reached the final second hour however just missed it by a few minutes! Still was a funtastic overall experience and we are surely going to be return bowlers!"

"A true dive! Not saying that just bc the bartender said that either. In an old brick building and inside it looks dated like a bar you'd expect in the 80s/90s? It is however, clean! You won't feel like you need to think twice about touching the bar top, sitting on their chairs, or drinking from their glasses.They have 3 or 4 TVs which had college football on when we went in. The bar itself was full with friendly older clientele.Beer selection: don't expect any craft beer. It's standard Bud/Coors product with Stella probably being their more quality beer. I went with an Oly which might be a hipster beer now like they did PBR/Hamm's, but can't beat it for $2.Spirits: not a huge selection but they have no need for it. They have your typical items like Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, Jameson, Bulleit, Patron, etc. Don't expect any Whistle Pig.Cool spot. Friendly people running the place along with the clientele. They also have food which I don't know what it looks like since no one was eating when we were there. I'd pop back in if I need to kill time downtown."

It is right next to the Santa Fe railroad tracks so you hear and feel trains going past. Really nice menu with lots of delicious sounding options. Unfortunately pizza oven was inoperable the day we went. We both chose different burgers he had the Mac attack and I had the take em to the station. Interesting thick curly fries with good flavor and texture. Best burger I have had in a while. Nice drink selection. Enjoyed the blood orange Cali squeeze. "Took the family here (party of 8) for a night before Christmas Eve dinner. Only one table of 4 was occupied when we arrived. The restaurant was hot and stuffy! We asked if it could be cooler? They tried, but it couldn't... We should've sat outside! Ordered meals for 8. 3 more tables arrived AFTER we got there. They all got their food before us. After about 45 minutes, our food trickled out, one plate at a time, over the next 15 minutes. Kids cheese pizza worse than frozen. The salads were served on hot plates with the main courses. (So salads were hot) One of the salads did not have the salad dressing on it.Popcorn chicken was served, tossed in bbq sauce, instead of BBQ on the side (as requested). The chicken parm sandwich wasn't made from chicken breast. It was inedible parts of the chicken breaded.Our server abandoned us after the food was delivered, but I went to the bar and asked for drink refills and another server cheerful helped! There was one good thing: All of the fries were hot and crispy! This place has 'lots of potential' with a few adjustments in the kitchen and the server."

Service was quick, responsive and welcoming. We got in the queue and my son and I got to sing a song together for the first time... More than Words by Extreme and we killed it! So this year because of Covid-19. Everything in Stocktanistan, CA has been shut down for a Koo minute. Places started opening up here and there. So one of my cousins hit me up. It was Taco Tuesday. My cuzo Marky Mark hit me up. Told me about this bar and a taco truck right in front. He told me it was Taco Tuesday dollar tacos and the tacos are on fire. So get out the house. Now yer bOi V to the D. Has been on that hermit status for a few years. I've been doing that stay at home, before it was a thing. Plus rocking the facemasks for years, before it was a thing too. Look at my Yelp profile pics for proof, if you're questioning it. Yer Boi VD, always one step ahead. My life has been changing and I was improving myself. So it was a big step for me to get out the crib. Note; The hut was my safe place. So I said to myself, "Let's do this". I rolled up and the bouncer asked me for my ID. I didn't have my ID I left it in the car. I didn't think I was going to get carded so that's why I left it but I wasn't tripping. The bouncer was doing his job. I rolled back up showed the bouncer my ID. Rocking my mask. He asked me if I was Gucci I told that guy I'm super Gucci. I walked in and there was tents everywhere. With chairs and lots of people. The music was bumping and everyone was having a good time. So I'm like hell yeah, this is my jam. I saw three of my cousins sitting at a table and I walked up and sat with them. We had a pretty good time drinking modelos and having tacos. Now on this visit we couldn't go inside the bar but we didn't trip because we're outside. Now for the tacos there's a taco truck outside. But you could bring your food inside the bar and get your grub on. Now the Taco sitting right out side is called (Oo_boy_Tacos) follow them on Instagram. I'll do a review for them next. Because this will be like a two part review. Because both places rocked HARD. Now up in Stocktanistan, CA it's been super hot in the months of September and October. Still hitting 100 degrees. What is up with that? So the bar had fans outside and I was loving it.I got lost in thought for a quick second. Because a song was playing in the background. The Weeknd "I feel it coming" this was the first song that the special Woman in my life sent me. I immediately started thinking of her. So I grabbed my phone and recorded a video & sent it to her via IG. I couldn't be with her that night with me. But listening to the song, I felt like she was right there with me. Seriously a beautiful feeling. I really had a good time with my three cousins. Even drinking and talking about whatever. A beautiful moment yo. Now on my second visit my cousin Marky Mark hit me up. So I decided to roll up after work. I had my ID on me this time. I showed the bouncer and it was all good and I just walked in. Inside of the bar was open this time. It was pretty cool to see people inside the bar. To me it seemed like everybody was having a good time. That's what's up and that's what matters. I saw my brother-in-law ordering some drinks at the bar. So I chilled with him. I didn't drink this night all I ordered was water. So we waited at the bar for our drinks. Now I won't lie it took a little bit of time. Even for the change. But it was all good. My brother-in-law and I walked outside. I saw my cousin Marky Mark. Fun fact: Marky Mark is my favorite cousin. But in Truth, I love him like if he is my little brother. Love you foo. We walked outside and sat at our table. I handed my cousin his drink. He mentioned about the girl in my life. So I showed my brother-in-law a picture of her and told him about her. I really love talking about her always. Because she means that much too me.The night was coming to an end and we all had a good time. I had an awesome night and that's what matters most to me always.. Sincerely VD XOXO"

His song selection is unmatched, the sound system is top-notch, and he has a way of making everyone feel welcome.
