"Recently I had occasion to visit Michael's Pizza Bar, which I had been hearing about for years. As it is nowhere near my usual routes around town, I had not tried it. Then, one of the organizations I belong to scheduled a meeting there so I was committed. If you are a motorcycle fan, you will love this place. Situated next door to the local Harley dealer, the ambiance is 100% two wheeled fun with their own collection of bikes and windows so you can see into the dealer of the American Classic while you dine. I just had the chili as I had a big lunch a few hours early. The service was friendly, on point and attentive. All of the group I was with seemed to be totally happy with their meals and service as well. I gave it 4/5 for now as I haven't had their pizza. The chili was great!"

"Im a first time customer and came in shortly after opening on a Thursday. The place gives a comfortable home type feel. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with a side of mash potatoes. The sandwich was good quality although it was lacking a flavor or some sort, I couldn't put my finger on it. (Maybe more aioli? Seasoning on the chicken? A good addition would be bacon, I don't know if they have it though!) The mash and gravy were great. I also ordered a hot caramel macchiato which was great! I originally went in for the old school red steer french dip which I haven't had in years but changed my mind last minute! The cashier was friendly and the woman that brought my food out had a pleasant smile and looked happy to be at work. I'll definitely try this place again!"

But my buddy was very pushy about going here, because he said it was the best in Stockton. Well damn, it was very good. I had a personal size meat lovers and it was good. "I originally found Uncle Moe's from Groupon.com. It seemed like a decent deal and brought in my printed groupon. I was informed by the employee who apologized and said that the owner of Uncle Moe's was no longer accepting Groupons (owner didn't like the specific deal published) and recommended that I request a refund from Groupon. I had already taken the time to drive down here, so I opted to buy a pizza anyways. It seemed shady that the owner didn't accept the groupon anymore, but the employee who seemed like a manager was nice enough (he seemed to take his job seriously and wanted to make a good pizza to our specifications.) He made our pizza with a well done crust like I requested. It was pretty good. I would give our first visit 4 stars.____On a recent Sunday night when we had out of town guests over, we decided to call in a pizza order for two pizzas around 7 pm. They close at 8 pm. The female who answered the phone said that they were closing up the kitchen soon. We were confused as to whether or not they were still open till 8 pm. So we asked if we should still place an order for pizza to be picked up whenever they were ready. She reluctantly said, "Yes." Geez, if you don't want to make pizza then just tell us and we'll order from somewhere else... and save us the trouble. We ordered two large specialty pizzas (Railroad and California Chicken) with well done crusts. We sent two people to pick up the pizzas and it seemed like the owner and his family were all there hanging out, waiting for the shop to close. The nice guy who seemed like the manager last time wasn't there this time. We probably picked up the pizzas around 7:35 - 7:40 pm. The pizza was totally different from our first visit despite ordering the same pizzas. The pizza crust was disappointingly pale and very soft. It was the last time that I'll ever order pizza here again. I try to support locally owned businesses, but when pizza hut gives you better customer service and better pizza..."

"We went to try their service during football season. The food was fresh and very flavorful. I had heard about the chopped cheese burger sandwich. It was very tasty. Ordered the seasoned waffle fries really enjoyed those too. My guest ordered the cheese burger and he approved. He is very picky about burgers too. Now it's really not $5 dollar pizzas, it's $6.99 hot and ready for generally the cheese and pepperoni pizza, and even now hot ready for cheesy bread and hot wings.This really is my go to place for those impromptu events for my kids. A couple 7 dollar pizzas fills up my kids and there friends during a play date and I can always order 5 pizzas and they be ready in literally 10 minutes. I've always found the little Caesars tastes just fine and better than frozen pizza so why cook a store bought Digorna when these can be hot and ready. And if it's for a kids pizza party, ask them to cut the slices even more and bam your ready :-)"

"Giving props to Rico's for the $30 party pizza I ordered for my basketball team. We had an away game in Hughson. Since the drive is at least an hour one way, we wouldn't have time to stop and eat. I yelped "pizza" in Hughson and came across Rico's. I needed the pizzas to be delivered by 9 pm at their high school. The game ran long, but the pizza was delivered on time! And the party pizza was huge! Enough to feed 12 hungry Varsity student-athletes and with some left overs for JV and freshman. Thanks Rico's! 5+ stars in my book!"

"This restaurant has a great location going for it and fortunately we managed to get a parking spot and a table for the 8 of us . Seating is mostly high top and they were able to accommodate our big group without having to move things around . Next great thing is the amazing bear selection on tap - there was something for all the diverse taste preferences. I immediately jumped to get Russian river as I love their beers. The food has to be ordered at the counter and since I was ordering for all 8 of us , it took a little back and forth on my end but the staff was very accommodating and let me take my time as not all our friends were present while ordering .It didn't take too long for the food to arrive and almost all of us got our entree at the same time . My pesto chicken sandwich was dry as a bone , the fried parmesan on top was unnecessary and just there for aesthetics. I heard the same sentiment from everyone who got a chicken dish. Others seemed pretty satisfied with their food. Overall , I think they are a solid place for a meal if you are in the area."

I will say that the chef does know how to cook the chicken because it is juicy and tender. My family has chosen to get the BBQ Chicken Pizza, Garlic Chicken, and the Succulent Ribeye. FIRST OFF, GARLIC CHICKEN PIZZA IS SO DAMN GOOD. 10/10If I were to recommend anything to get to anyone, it would definitely be the Garlic Chicken Pizza. It taste so hearty and flavorful. The BBQ Chicken Pizza is also very good and I love how BBQ has a good layer that doesn't make BBQ to bold to taste. 9/10THE CHEESE PULL. the pizza has the CHEESE PULL!!!!The Succulent Ribeye aka "Steak", I was taken by surprise by how tender and juicy the steak is. Thankfully, Falafel Flame was able to fulfill that need.This is a mom and pop shop tucked in a corner of a plaza that houses a variety of other small businesses. As it is a shared lot, parking was easy enough. Upon walking in, the restaurant was small, but cozy. Despite this, it seems they've built a reputable place because a good amount of people came and went, whether it was to pick up food or to dine in. We ordered a veggie burger, gyro plate, curly fries, dolma, and two bottled waters. The food came out within 10 minutes and our server/cashier was so nice and hospitable. He made sure to check up on us multiple times and gave us napkins and utensils. Hilariously, he also gave us chlorox wipes for our phones because he noticed us trying to clean the dust off of them, lol!I actually dug into the dolma and curly fries first, because I'm an avid fries girly and also enjoyed how the dolma was presented. My friend said her previous experience eating dolma left her with a mixed impression, but she liked these ones. The fries had a nice crunch to them and were so, so addicting! The burger was delicious, too. The server explained that the sauce that was served with my burger was a unique "cocktail" that had a spicy kick to it. Although I infrequently eat burgers, I always like to deck it out in toppings like onions, pickles, lettuce, etc. when I do. This burger met my expectations, and the sauce the server gave me definitely gave it an extra kick. When you check in on Yelp, you get a coupon for 1 baklava. We went up to claim it, and the server gave us not one but TWO baklava, so we could both try it (My friend isn't a yelper). Talk about amazing generosity and hospitality! I'm a sucker for great food, but I'm an even bigger sucker for great service! I'm super glad we found this place, and you bet we'll be returning for another meal."

Unfortunately for me, Binky used to be an avid bowler (he was on a team and everything....!!), and in all the years I've known him, I've never ONCE stepped into a bowling alley with him. Last night, that all changed when our friends in Modesto invited us out for a night of bowling fun. I opted to sit out because I'd much rather sit/cheer/eat/read Yelp reviews/silently meditate/fetch Binky new balls when he got angry with the one he was using/etc. than fling a much-too-heavy iron sphere down a wooden plank to knock out some white and red pins (...most likely throwing out my arm/shoulder cuff/wrist in the process.....YEAHHHH, no thank you). My only condolence was this little pizza shop in the corner of the bowling alley. I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza for our friends (only ~$15!!) and waited approximately 20 minutes for the pizza to cook. The staff behind the counter laughed at me because I kept checking in every few minutes or so to see if it was done -- I was hungry, okay!? I am happy to report that they seem to FRESHLY make each and every pizza pie (impressive for a bowling alley pizza stand).The large pizza was surprisingly enough for the five of us (....I know, I should have ordered more -- I wasn't completely thinking last night...). My expectations were rather low for the pizza, all things considering. Therefore, I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I opened the box and found a BEAUTIFUL pizza with PLENTY of pineapples and nice, slightly charred pieces of ham. I gingerly took a bite of the pizza and MMMMM OMGGGGGGGGGG I was FLOORED at how good this pizza was -- I grew up in NY, so it's been a LONG time since I've gotten really excited about pizza. The sauce to cheese ratio was PERFECTION (I prefer less sauce). The cheese was MELTY goodness (stringy/pulliness A+). AND the crust was chewy, yet firm (not too doughy). The toppings were generously distributed over our pizza -- nice, fresh ingredients. YUM, YUM, YUM, YUM. Binky loved the pizza too as I fed him bites in between turns. He loved it despite the fact that his score considerably dropped after eating the pizza (I think the deliciousness distracted him). PRO-TIP: Don't eat the pizza if you're a SERIOUS bowler -- you will undoubtedly lose all concentration upon biting into this delicious, freshly-made pizza. Bowling has become my favorites sport thanks to La Pizza Cafe. I will gladly come again and again and again and sit on the sidelines JUST to get another bite of this heavenly pizza."

"A wonderful thing I'm seeing more of in and around Lodi are these great little fusion restaurants (and in this case, also a market) that combine the foods that we know and love with more exotic flavors. Rice & Spice is no exception. They have a pretty extensive menu that offers up a lot of good stuff. I have been addicted to their pizza ever since discovering this gem. In a town where mom and pop pizza places are still more expensive than most other areas, it's nice to know that at Rice & Spice you can pay a little less and get a whole lot more. They also have a lot of signature specialties that are really great. Their BBQ Chicken Pizza has decent portions of tasty roasted chicken, and a BBQ sauce that is just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I like to get it with olives instead of onions. Definitely drop in for take-out, and be sure to pick up goods from the market. There's a lot there to spice up your kitchen!"

The bar itself was full with friendly older clientele.Beer selection: don't expect any craft beer. It's standard Bud/Coors product with Stella probably being their more quality beer. I went with an Oly which might be a hipster beer now like they did PBR/Hamm's, but can't beat it for $2.Spirits: not a huge selection but they have no need for it. They have your typical items like Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, Jameson, Bulleit, Patron, etc. Don't expect any Whistle Pig.Cool spot. Friendly people running the place along with the clientele. They also have food which I don't know what it looks like since no one was eating when we were there. I'd pop back in if I need to kill time downtown."
