"Jason Perry the owner greeted me immediately after entering his store. I originally came in to sharpen my Benchmade 940 due to rolling the blade from cutting a dryer vent pipe. It was $7 each to sharpen a knife but you get one free if you buy a knife. The knife wall was fully stocked and it was a heavenly sight for sure. Jason showed me the few knives I wanted to see in person. He is very passionate about knives for sure! I've been buying most of my knives from Bladehq. However, after meeting Jason and seeing his selection, I'll be supporting his business for sure. Jason showed me his custom made knives and asked me my opinion on handle comfort on the MK3 model he was working on. I had such a great experience that I purchased the Gerber Fastball that I had my eye on for awhile. He sharpened my Benchmade and my Spyderco Endura also and I left a happy man!"

Gold Key is a blessing. They were closing but the manager was completely understanding and found the guys to fill up our propane tank. He went above and beyond to help us out in a pinch and we are completely grateful. As business owners in the business park we really appreciate other business owners working together. "I couldn't have been happier with the Echo Adventure tour in Yosemite. Without a doubt, when I go back there, I will use the again and will highly recommend them to everyone. I had never been to Yosemite and I chose this tour because I had no idea where to start, Yosemite is huge, I wanted a tour and I wanted it to be a private tour because we are still in a pandemic. In addition, I wanted the tour to be somewhat flexible as opposed to "be back on the bus in 15 minutes!"I knew that I could drive into and around Yosemite but I wanted to sit back and enjoy the scenery, as opposed to navigating the roads. I also wanted to get out and do some hiking. This met all of those expectations. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and I could tell that he really liked what he was doing. On the way back to my hotel, I said to my partner, I was surprised on just how knowledgeable he was about the park, the history of the park, about forestry (I had an uncle that worked for CA Department of Forestry), conservation and how these geological wonders were formed. I was vey impressed with the tour company, the tour and the tour guide."

I got a custom rack with snow attachment for skis and boards. He didn't rush me off of the phone because I was a female He was not intimidating or making me feel like I was not wanted inside of the establishment. I let him know of my concerns and he was TOP TIER to say least. After I arrived the players were friendly and the staff that checked me in was amazing!!!!!! He was friendly and patient with my son. He was also part of this tremendously considerate staff! He walked my son through everything and did not rush him. He showed him around and let him know all of the steps. He (Hispanic man) came to me and said that he would have some of the staff go on with my 13 year old so he would not feel alone for his first time. The guys were ready and so friendly. I later found out that Jacob was one of the 3 guys that went in with Brian. These guys had been working all day and had the energy and consideration to play 2-3 games with my son. I love this location. I didn't feel intimidated at all!!!!! I waited for Brian to play his games and when it was time to go. Another player came up to me and asked was it my son's first time there and ISaid yes. He then gifted my son one of his glocks!!!!!!!!! The night could not have ended any better. My son was very welcomed by many here! He wanted to return the next day. He is excited about returning. We will be returning asap!!!!!! These guys need a raise!!!!! These guys is what will keep this business going.... I jist read another review speaking about abuse to a child which is ironic because my whole review was about how great my son was treated. I hope that situation got rectified Also I forgot to mention I went into the war zone just trying to see where my son went and the guy in the back yelled at me to get from back there and I ran from back there. I WAS LAUGHING because he was not playing/ he was serious about my safety. He didn't want me to get hit by a pellet. I heard they can knock your teeth out. So they are definitely serious about safety. I also seen a gun with a laser on it that you can rent. So, I'm not for sure what the other reviewer was talking about when it mentioned not being able to use lasers. This is so unedited. I will edit and come back with an updated post... I was just excited about my son and my experience."

"On our summer trip to the Delta, I ducked in here for a little bait. The store seemed a bit empty-- not the usual eclectic collection of gear squirreled away in bins and shelves. Some tackle lined the walls, along with a few freezers containing frozen anchovy, sardine, lamprey, shad, and assorted invertebrate bait.I approached the counter and Sharon helped me out. They were "out" of regular bloodworms, and only had jumbos, apparently. For a considerable mark-up, I ordered a dozen. She hand picked them from a large bin, and having fished with blood worms my whole life, there didn't seem to be anything jumbo about them from my experience.Either way, I paid for my bait, bout a small styrofoam bait cooler for a couple days camping to keep them alive, and out the door I went. I think I paid a few cents extra for using my card, but after dropping $30 on a dozen bloodworms and a couple bags of frozen 'chovy, what's the difference?Shrugged it off as a vacation expense, and used that bait to catch hundreds of fish... sure, only one of them was legal, but had a great time in Rio Vista proper, and will likely return in the future for fun on the Sacramento River."

"The International Sportsman's Expo came back this year in Cal Expo, Sacramento. It is not as big as before and has fewer vendors. But this is what should be expected when Covid is still around. I've appreciated so many vendors still working very hard to create a great weekend event. The parking is $10, and the general admission is $16 at the gate. Not bad for events like this. Even some of the vendors have closed their booths early or no show at all for any reason. I think it would be related to the recent Covid surge. They do require proof of vaccinations or negative test results for Covid required by the state as any sports or events in California. Facemasks are also required at an indoor location. However, 90% of the vendors or visitors don't wear it. The vendors are very attentive. So many boats, sports vehicles, RVs, and many hunting and fishing equipment at the event. I'm very much enjoyed the International Sportsman's Expo this year, and thank you to the hard-working people who made it happen!"
