It was pretty packed but we called the order in and it was quick , ordered 8 burritos and 3 tacos with a delicious horchata and it only took 15 minutes! The chips were crispy with the guacamole."

"I drove by and noticed this really cool looking vintage trailer turned into a taco truck. I figured if they take that much pride in that awesome looking trailer that the food has to be good. Well, The food is great. I told my cousin about this place and he goes there almost everyday. The people are friendly and the service is good, what more could you ask for? I am a real spicy guy, so I said make me some super super hot tacos and they did! This is my go to place for now on."

But the hospitality here from the young ladies working this particular afternoon that we visited here were very nice and polite. This but all made our visit here much more enjoyable and I would definitely revisit here just because of the service that we received from the two young ladies. The food was also fairly good the salsa you have an option between hot or spicy we chose spicy and it definitely lived up to the temperature. we had the fried ice cream dessert which was really good! They only had chocolate ice cream or not vanilla but we went ahead with the order anyways the presentation was cute also. And enjoyable to eat. Give their menu a try and their location."

"First time here and it's pretty nice. The setup is great. They have a restaurant , but unfortunately it closed just before we got there. Great selection of beer on tap, and great selection of cider on the menu.If you want to try out your axe throwing skills they also have that, I'd maybe try that out before you start drinking but up to you on that one. Bartender was friendly, asked for their best cider and got 2 choices. The one I wanted to try was out behind bar so one of the bartenders was nice enough to go get more from the fridge area. They had a band playing some good music. Place has a great vibe."

"Yeah! Found a new go to for Mexican food. We recently moved to Modesto and checking out restaurants to try. This is a keeper. I ordered the crispy chicken taco, hubby had the 2 item combo plate with crispy beef taco and chicken enchilada. Ordered a small guacamole very fresh and delicious. They give you a basket of chips and the chips are made from flour and corn tortillas also also give you a delicious salsa and bean dip. YummmmmNicely decorated and very clean restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. It's worth the little drive from home. Oakdale is a darling town. Thank you"

"The place is located right down town. Parking is great but there's something usually around the corner. They have small outdoor seating area. We sat inside, we all had tacos... chicken and asada and they were delicious the meat was well seasoned. I also had a wet burrito and it was DELICIOUS! The green sauce is thicker than I'm used to but it faced in my mouth. Is only recommend they change the tortilla chips (too thick- not fresh) but they are still Oakley with the salsa they serve"

All of the sauces with the parilladas were flavorful and great on everything. We came with our baby and they were great at accommodating us. Our waitress anticipated that we would want extra beans and a small spoon for our baby which I really appreciated. Great place for families or even a casual date night. The interior was really nice. Cool wood accents and a very unique chandelier."

The shrimp is a little boring and last place, I'd love a little tiny kick like maybe Slap Ya Momma seasoning while it cooks or something so it isn't so flat. The shrimp are big and well cooked though. All tacos were nicely stuffed full and very good, especially priced $2-4. Our new local spot for authentic tacos, yay!"

But I never tried it out before, until today and I'm so glad we did.Just a few days ago my brother had some Nachos. I asked where he got it from and he told me "He got them from here". I was like "wooooooooow". I'm going to have to get some Nachos for my baby girl. The $5 are very good they actually use Nacho cheese. My kids prefer them that way. So goaaaaaaaaaaaL yaayyy, my Princess was very happy to see that. The regular Nachos comes with Sour cream, jalapenos, tomatoes and meat of your choice beef, chicken or pork. She went with the asada, she really does love asada.We got home and she started to eat her burrito we got from someplace else and stopped and she focused on the Nachos. I always like seeing my children enjoy their meal. I just sit back and enjoy the moment. Good stuff, I tell yah.My Princess didn't get to finish her nachos so we ended up saving the rest for my son, when he was coming over later. I really don't like to waste food. I tried some and I couldn't eat too much because I got stuffed off the burrito she gave me right before. Doing what Dad's do, spending time with our kids. My three kids always comes first, everything else is a bonus in life. That owner had authentic food n although it was a little priced than normal I didn't mind paying it for good flavorful authentic sinaloense seafood. Our waitress was very nice and food came out within a reasonable amount of time. Food is served with homemade corn tortillas. These last positive remarks earned them 2 stars. I don't think I'll be back it's not what it used to be 8 years ago unfortunately"

The burrito and the tacos tasted good, especially with the hot sauce. The only slight downfall was that the tortilla for the burrito was a tad hard. The Hibiscus drink was refreshing and delicious. The service was quick and efficient. I even liked how the food was affordable. For everything, the bill was about $20.Overall, El Grullito serves decent Mexican food. It is nice to know that this place is also 24/7. I would return here in the future."

It tastes good expect I feel the Chicken should be more seasoned, mine tastes very chicken. I normally don't enjoy the boil meat flavor (I am Indian duhh)I took off one star because of the chicken.The service is excellent, the server gave two refills of the chips, mostly consumed by me. And we didn't ask for it, she asked if we want refill. Also we waited 10-15 mins for part of the family to arrive, and the server didn't ask once if we are ready to order, no rushing of any kind.A must visit Mexican place.
