"Delta Bistro & Lounge is nestled within one of the most stylish hotels in Downtown Stockton with a scenic view of the Delta. The venue is as appealing as the food it serves lending to the charm of dining here. Brunch is definitely an occasion worth avoid hitting the snooze button for. Drawing in streams of people to the restaurant to dive into some of their great comfort foods. There's everything from fresh fruits to pastries to prime ribs and plenty of other "great day starters" in an AYCE buffet style dining. Guests can lounge around the trendy outdoor patio enjoying coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and endless mimosas. Most notably their AYCE prime rib was amazing! It was well seasoned and succulent. Request for the au jus to pour over your steak to further enhance the flavor. Their classic breakfast lineup was just as delightful. It's a bit pricey but, not outrageous considering the location. The venue is open to everyone whether you're a hotel guest or not. Impeccable service paired with delicious food is what's attracting the locals here every Sunday."
"I'm not a fan of this place. The service isn't great. Nobody seems to have a good attitude or like their job working there. Every time I've gone in (because my mom likes it) it always takes forever just to get service. Took us 30 min just to get drinks today or even a waiter come to our table. We had to wave someone down. The food is overpriced when it's just mediocre. Nothing special about the food. There are so many better places."
"Karaoke on Tuesdays is a blast! A lot of locals go here and it was fun to make new friends! The bartenders are super sweet and work at being as fast as they can considering how crowded it can get. Pool tables in the back if that's what you're into!"
"so happy we found this bar!!we love the back door entrance!!so many of our favorite bars have that. went here on a saturday for a quick beverage before going to an art show & a movie.....ended up staying for 3hrs. was treated with such hospitality from the time we walked in. mariano is such a cool guy. we got to meet some of the regulars & they were all awesome & we had a great time.try the "cherry bomb!" we ordered (restaurant connected) chicken fajitas & they were delicious.tortillas were amazing!we had some type of amazing beans w/ cheese & enchilada sauce, that my husband ordered special & they made it & we ate it w/ mariano's chips & salsa!!!so tasty!!we had such a good time playing music on the 2018 internet based "jukebox!" we played such a huge eclectic collection of music!!we will be back stpatrick's! "quizas quizas quizas!" good times!"
"I am regularly on conference calls which originate in the boardroom. I have gone to corporate and had meetings in the boardroom. I had never enjoyed a salad and a manhattan in the boardroom before. When I spotted this place on yelp and saw it was within walking distance of my hotel I immediately planned on heading over for dinner and a cocktail. The site said there was a dress code so I donned my sport coat before heading out. I felt a little silly...there was not another sport coat or suit wearing man within 5 miles of me.When I entered I was one of two customers and I had to wait for the bartender to get done messing around on his cell phone for a minute before I was acknowledged. Not the best foot forward.Service overall ended up being good but distracted. The food was pretty good but the star of this boardroom was the manhattan, well executed (as it should be for about 9 bucks) with the traditional rye whiskey."
"Lodi Bowl is definitely a great spot for all events from casual to celebrations! It has become a tradition that we stop by here for any family birthdays! Not only is the vibe here really great but so is the selection of food! To top it all off the staff is really accommodating and we have always been more than happy with the service! As a family run business, it is a great addition to downtown Lodi and you can genuinely see the attention to detail! Also bookings are super easy to make online!"
"Bartender Krysta makes the experience, fun and welcoming! She always is attentive make sure everybody is taken care of! Makes it a fun environment on holidays! I have attended a Halloween costume party, Christmas party, Valentine's Day, event! My favorite place to go for drinks and karaoke!"
"On our way up to Pinecrest to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary we stopped at Black Oak Casino to gamble since check it time for our AirBnB wasn't until 4pm Seven Sisters Restaurant, located on the third floor of the Black Oak Casino outside of Sonora, offers award-winning fine dining with top-notch service and tableside manner paying attention to even the unspoken details of guests along with offering a picturesque view of the Sierra Foothills.Seven Sisters uses only the finest ingredients for its menu items that rotate with the seasons. The restaurant menu is constantly adding specials to suit the seasons and item availability, including locally grown produce from an on-site vegetable garden. The menu is full of a variety of specialty fresh meat dishes and seafood selections that are flown in day-to-day. Sauces, breads and desserts are prepared as labors of love by the chefs on a daily basis.Seven Sisters, named after the matriarchs of the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Tribe, has a romantic and luxury ambiance that would be great for a special occasion or dinner date!We shared roasted brussel sprouts and a spring salad. Husband had a filet mignon and I had to the Corkshew Chicken Pesto Pasta! After a few drinks from the bar we ordered dessert and the waitress brought a surprise for our anniversary and the best crème brûlée!"
"Went by recently after a few attempts and found they were closed despite the sign saying it was during business hours. I was a little disappointed that they've really trimmed their tapas menu and have added some steakhouse dishes, which to me feels like they've deviated a little from their original identity. BUT- I get that they have to do what they have to do to keep the business running and cater to a larger market. Unfortunately, my husband's steak was over cooked BUT they did make him a new one which was nice! I still love that there's a place to get cocktails and Spanish tapas. I'll need to come back again. We didn't get the paella this time but it was good in the past. I still like the vibe and there was some live music playing when we went. It was still pretty empty though and I wish more people would check it out."
"Great dive bar cool people clean pool tables and awesome bartenders. do i need to say more?????"
"Total dive bar located inside the McHenry Village!I came here for a drink to take back to Bauer's 66 1/2 next door. Since they don't serve alcohol at Bauer's, they allow you to come to Vieira's to buy a drink & take it back to enjoy with your meal. They have a pretty big selection of well drinks, beers, and wines. I was excited to see that they carried Red Stripe so with no hesitation I ordered one to take back and enjoy with my burger. They have a pool table, foosball table, & dartboard. The crowd seemed older and more mature, unlike the gangsta & thug crowds downtown. My only complaint would be that the bartender seemed as though she did not want to be there because not once did she crack a smile and when I asked for some recommendations on a drink for my cousin she seemed irritated. All in all, when I'm in town & want to be on chill mode, I'd go back again for a drink or two."

My family and I chose to eat breakfast at the Delta Bistro since it was right downstairs from our room. It was around 10am, and there was only one waitress working. There were definitely too many customers for that one waitress to take care of herself. She was very busy and it took a long time for us to receive our food (around half an hour). We ordered the pancakes and two omelettes. I didn't try any of the pancakes but I enjoyed my three egg omelette. Considering that it was food at a hotel restaurant, the price wasn't horrible, and the portions were pretty big.I do wish that the could have had more waiters working. I felt bad for the one waitress that had to take car of everyone on the patio and inside.

The Secret Garden has a very Instagrammy type of vibe especially when it comes to some of their pancake/french toast dishes. The whole ambiance gives off that ambiance as well. I decided to give this restaurant in Modesto a shot. I would say the service is friendly, but the downside is the food does take a long time to arrive. Once we ordered, my table waited 40 minutes to get our food which is too long for in my opinion basic breakfast food dishes. What I ordered personally was the South Of The Border Omelette ($18). It appealed to me because it wasn't a omelette I see at every restaurant and it had ingredients like pepper jack cheese, chorizo, refried beans, avocado, sour cream, etc. With my first bite of the omelette, I tasted something familiar. You know those El Monterey frozen beef and bean burritos? Those are my favorite frozen burritos of all time. This omelette tasted exactly like that. I wasn't mad at it. It was honestly great. It joined the clean plate club. They did serve avocado on top that was really browning which is a minus point. The hash browns also weren't crisp on the service and the shredded potatoes were a little mushier than I would've liked.Personally, the long wait times plus the service not being the most attentive was a drawback for me. Some things I tasted were a bit hit or miss like a smoked salmon I ate off someone's plate being way too salty or the country potatoes being too oily. I enjoyed my omelette a lot, but overall The Secret Garden is a 6.5-7 out of 10 type of restaurant to me.

I really really like this place! I'm way under dressed, but got no pressure. Here I am in ripped up jeans and a Hurley T-Shirt with flip flops!!!Christina was awesome! We met her once, working at Rivets. So glad we ran into her here! She looks AMAZING and serves up great cocktails! It was a treat. We made new friends, had three drinks, and cashed out!

Went into Lodi bowl last night. It was my second time here. The bowling attendances were great, but the best part was the bar energy. Jackson specifically had a great vibe and made it more enjoyable. My experience went from a 7/10 to a 10/10 due to his great attitude and recommendations. If you're looking for a good time and fun vibe definitely request Jackson.

This review is a 4.4/5. Came here for my belated birthday dinner. Everyone was very nice and professional. We never had to ask for anything and we never had a plate in front of us that we were done with for more than a minute or two. The ambiance is cozy and warm, the seating is comfortable. It can get a little noisy when it's busy, but we could still hear just fine. We got the Brussels sprouts for a starter and if you haven't had them before, you must. They are 1000% worth it. Between the starter and main course they came by with a palate cleanser that was a very tart cranberry orange sorbet like bite. It was very sharp, but I enjoyed it. My dad and I got the maple chipotle pork chop. It comes with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Divine. It was phenomenal. My mom got the filet with the potatoes, she ate it all and said it was great. Hubs got the wagyu burger. It was huge and very messy, but he said flavor wise it was different and very tasty. Only real complaint was the amount and quality of the shoestring fries that came with the burger. There was a mound... like too many. And they were very over done, pretty easy to do when they're so thin. Overall, this has always been a nice spot for a special occasion and this trip was no different. Would recommend!

"I was really disappointed with this place. Vibes inside and cozy couches were cool but terrible service. The bartender wanted nothing to do with us, almost like we were an inconvenience. She sat at the bar like a customer while we sat with empty drinks wanting to order another round. I asked for recommendations on drinks and she wasn't any help. She kind of described the drink I was ordering but forgot to mention it tasted like pure licorice, yuck. A lovely local restaurant recommended this bar for us out of towners but we should have gone somewhere else."
"This restaurant is so nice! I see why people get married here. I was a little worried I was underdressed but they have a very chill atmosphere. Tonight they have a comedy show and a 2 for $13 shots special. The service was wonderful!"
"First time in Twain Harte and it was so peaceful and pretty. Before heading to our cabin, we stopped by Ed's and could not have stopped at a better bar. The bartender was so friendly and welcoming. He was very professional and made sure to attend to each customer in the order they came in which I respect. We ordered a shot of gin with sprite and a gin n' tonic. It came out to $8 and I couldn't believe it! I'm so use to high prices out in the Stockton Area and Bay Area. One thing to keep in mind is that they only take cash but they also have an ATM to use if needed."
"Had an amazing side salad that is actually a main course! So fresh and so delicious! The service is is fast and considerate. It's always a pleasure to eat here. Dessert is always an option and they tend to be very yummy as well!"
"The food is okay, service is good, bowling is funI don't think I can comment much on the bowling, it was fun, but my bowling high score was 75... They had bumper bowling for the kids and adults too. They had a blast playing. There are also bowling assisted equipment there. They also have Laser tag, $8 per person, but we didn't try it this time around. The chili was good, the Korean boneless chicken wings were okay, not crunchy enough, and the garlic fries were excellent. The atmosphere was nice not too loud. They have an arcade inside but a little bit expensive to play the games."
"Thank you for hosting me and my family to celebrate our mom's bday. We enjoyed our birthday brunch that paired with individual yogurt parfaits and a pastry. Both were delicious. They even ask if anyone has a gluten, dairy or any type of allergy!I made reservations via the website and recd an emailfrom Tracey. She confirmed and provided additional information. It was refreshing to hear back so swiftly! The restaurant is adorable. Looks like it was a home or hotel converted with indoor and outdoor seating. Very unique. I enjoyed my crab omelette. The touch of the salad was nice. They were kind enough to cut my mom's cake (there is a $3.50 per person fee) but that's of the norm like any other restaurant. Huge shoutout to Monica for being so patient and kind with our family. She provided excellent and friendly service. She's an outstanding host! This place is located at Wine and Roses. We had discovered it back in 2014 when we were wedding venue shopping. When we came for my mom's brunch, we noticed a wedding was being set up. We adored it when from afar when leaving. I would absolutely come back here!"
"Went there again today. The food is addicting! Very exceptional food! Not your average bar menu. The bloody Mary's are the best ever! Just the right amount of everything..."
"Wow! Wow! Environment: super neatly decorated. you sort of want to dress for the aesthetic, but no worries, just a perfect excuse to dress up in your finest clothes. Service: waiters and waitresses are so helpful with finding the right food you want to try, patient with orders, great friendly attitude, and very attentive to any needs or concerns Food: So SO tasty and mouth watering. I love my pasta, and enjoyed the charcuterie cage thing. Skip the broccolini and the Mac and cheese. They're like 7.5/10. The steak is DELICIOUS. The mashed potatoes! AH, get them. Also, bathroom, so aesthetically pleasing from the swan sink spouts to the shiny green walls. The whole restaurant was so well thought ohy to the smallest detail."
"Came here for a bday celebration and it's low key very chill. The place is open and decorated nicely. The staff is amazing and kind. My fries were amazing! The bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice."
"First time here and place is dope, gives me nostalgia with its old fashion style / decor, even has popcorn ceilings ! How old school is that ,I don't care what anyone says PLEASE DONT MODERNIZE THIS PLACE just because most can't appreciate some O.G style restaurants .."
"The food was good. The pasta portion was huge, I took half of it home which was nice because I had it for lunch the next day. The tri tip nachos were hella good. My son got a regular cheeseburger that I unfortunately didn't take a picture of but he devoured it; so I'm guessing it was good lol. My boyfriend got a Tri tip sandwich (not sure of the name because this visit was from July) but he said the sandwich was ok. Our server was super nice."
"Saturday Night--this bar is quite new! Connected to one of the more famous Thai restaurant in Merced. Drink menus are available on one of their Flat screen tv which takes some time to switch out....the night we went was pretty pack mostly every table taken and bar stool almost filled up....it's a bar nothing special to write about a bar lol but it's super clean and new. Only one gender neutral bathroom. You can order food from the restaurant side and they serve you on the bar side just let them know...Bartenders were super nice and hard working but I felt like they struggling a little....seems like they were new at bartending (I could be wrong) one of the bartender broke a glass in front of us poor thing...I'm not sure if it's a bar policy or just that certain bar but the bartender was like I have to keep your card to open??? (I've been to a few bars an usually I can just order a drink(s) and close it right after) kind of threw me off but oh well..."
"Pretty cool little place. If you are looking for a simple cheese burger and a beer or maybe a cocktail, this place is a great little spot. Great customer service (we sat at the bar) and fast food service as well even though the place was packed. Bg's is hidden behind Mel's and has the back door bar feel. Very "dive" ish. Personally, I love dive bars and when I find my self in Jackson again, I will definitely return for a cold beer and the moo burger cheese burger. It doesn't hurt that the place has my initials."
"We love coming here after dinner downtown. We love the bartender Diego! He's super nice and works very hard to greet each person that comes in. I love the themed nights here. Goth night is my favorite. It's a small fun place where you can play old video games at the bar."
"The food is good. I ordered 14 oz rib eye medium rare. Very good with onion and mushroom as toppings. The service is good. They're very prompt to items asked and they will check what you need frequently. The thing I don't like the most is there are flying flies throughout the course. That's really bothersome."
"Ah, the Main Event! This is a great spot to stop for a break in the drive between Tahoe & the Bay Area to watch a game. Or at least have some beers and watch your friend watch the game and talk to other (very friendly) patrons. On the afternoon in question, people had all brought in food and there was a *free* BBQ happening. Everyone was so incredibly nice there - when I said I was vegan, the chef was sympathetic and put together a veggie sandwich for me that included tomatoes his wife had grown at home! Beers are reasonably priced and cold, bathrooms are reasonably clean and it's tolerable cool inside on a hot afternoon."
"First time out after the pandemic and what better way to commemorate than by celebrating your besties bday month AND supporting one of your fave dj's?Parking was easy because it's off their little downtown area. Entrance is down a little walkway and you are greeted by a pleasant smile and welcome. It's a quaint little bar and dance floor. Music was bumping and drinks flowing. I do highly suggest you pay for bottle service and a table. We were seated right next to the dj booth. Perfect! Our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. She even danced with me a couple times. Ambiance was great. There is a dress code, the guys need to confirm that before going because they told one of our guys he needed to keep his jacket on because his long sleeve shirt went against dress code. Bathroom woulda been clean had someone not thrown up in the smaller stall early in the evening...she probably started early and was day drinking..lol! Our crew closed the place down and we wouldn't mind coming back. The dj had the whole place going until the very end. They need to keep him on rotation! It says a lot when you don't want it to end despite your feet hurting from your heels...lol!"
