"Good food, very quiet at the time I was there, and delicious sweets to take home with me. A good travel stop for me and I will stamp here again."
"This is a hidden gem. Located in its own little nook at the Chevron station. Very good customer experience. It's tiny so recommended for takeout only but they do have a small stool section if you need a break from your drive."

"While my boyfriend was busy chit chatting with his teammates during his jiu jitsu competition, I got busy looking for delicious food to eat and found this gem online. First of all, you know a restaurant is good when it is tucked away in a little grocery plaza. Second, it isn't fancy (if you're looking for that, look elsewhere), which means they spend their time and energy making bomb food. Happy runs the joint and he was a cool guy. We ordered the:Dahi Bhalla Chaat - super tasty. Never had anything like this before. It is served on the cooler side because of the yogurt, and the chutney is homemade in house, with pure tamarind, and crunchy bits. The texture was wild, and fun. Delish. Punjabi Kulcha - their answer to a delicious bao bun. But, it is filled with tender, spiced, garbanzos, with onions and a sumptuous sauce. So freaking good. Everyone in the restaurant had one of these on their plates! Baingan Bharta - this eggplant dish was phenomenal. I have never ate anything this delicious/exciting in my life (not counting my mom's cooking, obviously), and trust me, I eat a lot. This was insanely good with the Garlic Naan we ordered :) We scraped that dish clean!Rasmalai - we finished off our fabulous meal with this delicious dessert. It looks like a cake, and we chose the cardamom flavored one (it was the orange looking one). It was light. Like a cloud. And, being Asian, I already don't like super sweet desserts, and this nailed it. It wasn't super sweet, and it was the best finish to a good meal. This place is very affordable, and you can tell their meals are made with care. Just be aware, it is vegetarian here and they don't serve beer. Don't let this deter you though. Check this spot out if you're in or close to Stockton. I wish they had Punjabi restaurants this tasty in San Francisco, because they don't exist there."
"This is my new favorite Indian food spot in Turlock. I used to go to Punjab Express but the quality hasn't been there. I have tried all the spots here in Turlock and this one stands out for sure. I had the chicken tikka masala and my mom had the butter chicken. Everything was really flavorful."
"One the best Indian places in town and surrounding towns. I have not found one dish that I dislike. The environment makes me feel like I'm having a home cooked meal at home with my family, great service as well. All the staff are friendly and quick. Forever a costumer!"
"If you're looking for amazing and delicious Dosa's, this is an awesome place to visit. They have a variety of different flavors and the chutneys and sambar that come with the dosa's are pretty good. Right along the food truck they have some tables and chairs to sit down and eat so you don't have to take your food to go if you don't want to. The Dosa itself was fresh, crispy and a big portion! The service was friendly! Definitely would come back. Support small businesses! :)"
"Ordered delivery from this place , the food is just ok nothing special.I had the butter chicken , Tiki masala chicken, rice with garlic naan, The garlic naan is just one piece of bread cut in half for $3.If you're craving Indian food, there's gotta be something better around than this place , it's just mediocre."
"Stopped by this area for a quick evening snack. The mango lassi definitely stood out and so glad I tried this specific one because there's definitely a different flavor compared to other places. Some places just taste like a tangy mango smoothie, but this one does have a spice/peppery after taste. I'm thinking cardamom? Definitely my go to for mango lassi now though"
"I was going to make butter chicken so I need some ingredients that you can find at a Indian Grocery store. This is a small family owned & ran business. Grocery store is in the front & they have a little counter in the back where you can get vegetarian Indian food. As soon as I entered I was greeted by Abhi. Him and his mom was there running the business. He was helping people in the store & his mom was in the back cooking. He was very nice! He answered all my questions and even helped me shop . He walked me around and showed me what to get . And explained about the different food items. He said he was a vegetarian so the food they cook at the store is vegetarian street food. They have a great selection of groceries & spices. They even have pre made sauces for when you don't want to cook & have a quick meal."
"Absolutely delicious! I've heard the chef is from Bombay, so the spice and flavor is a bit different than other Indian restaurants in this area. Mh wife and I came here for the first time today and it is our new favorite! We tried several dishes and they were all amazing! The food came out cooked fresh. Very reasonably priced, too! We will definitely be going back!"
"I think they changed hands, and after a rocky start, they're really rocking. They've surpassed Dhaba now, and now one of our favorite places for Indian food. Their sister location in N Stockton is SPECTACULAR, btw."
"Brand new Indian restaurant just opened a week ago. The prices are affordable. They have meat and vegetarian options. They also have lunch buffet everyday for $20 which is a nice deal that I look forward to in the future. I had ordered the chicken tikka masala and an order of the samosas and garlic naan bread. The masala comes with rice. Even though I ordered mild, it was not at all spicy. I will try medium spicy next time. The garlic naan was very tasty. The samosas are very different than other indian places. Their version has a lot more green peas which I think is a delight and healthy. The fry on it was nice and soft and crispy at the same time. Price for Portion wise is very good. You could feed two people for one order of curry unless you are truly very hungry."

We found about this food truck through our local group, went to try out and we were actually late but they still took our order, we placed order for Idly which was freshly made, masala dosa and rava masala dosa, all of the dishes tasted better then what they make in restaurants, highly recommended!

This is a small restaurant located in a plaza with shared parking lot so it can a little hard to find parking. Restaurant is clean and has various sweets displayed. It's an order first at the counter and self seating. We ordered samosas, Goat Curry, Butter Chicken, Tikka Chicken Masala and of course Naan. Food was delicious and very filling. Chicken Masala was full of flavor. My family and I will definitely return and try other dishes.

"Best food best taste. Give them a try waiting is bit longer but they still growing. Couple table to sit. Overall better then other food trucks around."
"Ambiance was clean but empty. I could immediately tell that this place is new. I'm originally from Modesto and there's not a lot of Indian food restaurants there. I was pleasantly surprised to see one at the mall. We gave this place a shot and my partner and I were amazed by the samosas with chaat. They were so delicious and full of flavor. The chaat is a garbanzo bean salsa freshly made and a tad bit spicy but everything complimented each other. The pizza was okay I'd say. Thin crust, more of mixed cheese and not much tomato sauce. I wish it was more saucier. I'd be willing to try the other dishes here next time. The service was phenomenal. The owner came out to check on us to see how the food was, he explained everything in it and how he made it. Very friendly, family restaurant owners. Thank you!"
"They were parked outside of a concert at brethren brewing and I ordered fries. And I made a mistake with my order and when my husband went back to buy more food he ended up comping us the meal. What an awesome dude all around thank you so much for your kindness! By the way the food was amazing the flavor that you have come up with is spicy tangy and an explosion! Fries are cooked to perfection!!"
"I went to the oakdale location! It was soooo good !!! I got the lamb biryani and it was absolutely perfect ... perfect spice perfect fresh the meat was amazing! The couple who were working inside were so sweet as well :) thank you for the sprite!!! Will definitely be back soon :)"
"Wanted to try something that we haven't tried before for dinner, and landed on Dhaba! We tried to order takeout via phone so that things would hopefully be ready by the time we got there, but was sent straight to voicemail twice :( But alas, we were determined to try their food, so we drove over and ordered at the restaurant. We were given a 20 minute estimate wait and our order was just about ready within those 20 minutes. We tried the butter chicken, basmati rice, and garlic naan.+ Butter Chicken (3/5): This was piping hot by the time we got home to eat it! It didn't quite have the richness I was looking for. We ordered this at a medium spice level but it felt closer to mild.+ Garlic Naan (2/5): I was looking forward to this the most as a garlic aficionado, but the naan looked nothing like the photos. The garlic was just in small, random lumps around the naan vs. evenly spread throughout. I was also looking for more cilantro on the naan itself but this was also very minimal.Overall, we felt like the food was pretty neutral - nothing too spectacular but also not quite enough to make us want to come back."
"Tried this new spot and the ambiance is nice. Nice chairs and decor inside. Service was good, our waitress was nice and patient. Alright let's get to the food....Aloo tikki appetizer- delicious, it's similar to a potato croquette but with Indian flavors and served with the chutney and sweet red sauce.Chicken tikka masala- now I've eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and the one they served me didn't really look or taste like tikka masala. It look more like goat curry but with chicken.... It was good but not what I expected or wanted.Jeera rice- good flavor and basic riceGarlic naan- nice and crispyDrink- nice variety of drink options, from cocktails to mocktailsSpice levels- the waitress warned me that hot level is not what I can take.... So we ordered medium.... And didn't taste spicy at all..... so had to ask for a side of spicy chili sauce.Hoping someone posts their order of chicken tikka masala so I can compare, because I wanna know if I got jipped...."
"I have mad appreciation for India 4 U. They are open much later than other restaurants in the area. So when I was driving to my home in Oakdale from SFO, I was supremely grateful that I had a stop where I could get a late meal to go and enjoy a drink in the full bar while my delicious meal was prepared. The atmosphere is totally unlike anything in the Central Valley or East Bay. It would be at home in a major city with its unique art and stylish vibe. I have been here for takeout several times and ordered their: Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, rice, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. I tend to order items medium spicy. Each has been the best that I've found within a reasonable drive of my home. I look forward to coming in and enjoying a full meal here in the super cool dining environment."
"Ordered samosas at the Ripon Main Street Day. Absolutely delicious and a perfect amount of spice. Very friendly service. Looking forward to visiting their food truck site."

"Really enjoyed the butter chicken and garlic naan. Always great to have more Indian food options here in Merced. This food truck is new and close to Costco."
"We stumbled into this place while making a visit to the Walmart in the same parking lot. It is brand new- grand opening balloons everywhere. It was empty but had two large TVs with the volume up loud, so don't expect a quiet lunch. It is an extensive menu, with items I hadn't seen before. Unfortunately, the menu had so many errors (like incomplete sentences) for the food descriptions that I had to ask for clarification, which made the ordering process frustrating. I got the Paneer Tikka Masala and my husband got Chicken Curry, both of which were delicious. I asked for medium heat and my husband asked for mild, but they put two hot peppers in his dish, and none in mine. Oops. The waitress didn't understand what we were trying to explain about the switch- up, then said the red peppers in his meal were just added for flavor..what? Since both dishes ended up being generatous portions and really good, I just I gave up on trying to communicate about anything else. The food is worth trying, but go with awareness that the language barrier requires some patience."
"So bomb! This is the place to check out!! I at first thought with the name "express" it was going to be food sitting under lights as if I went to a buffet. Very opposite. The staff is very friendly, we located a photo on yelp that wasn't labeled, and she informed us the name and we ordered it. It is my new favorite! Soo flavorful! Stop by and order food from here!"
"Sansar Indian cuisine restaurant is a very nice restaurant that serves authentic Indian dishes. Our server was friendly & helpful. I loved the butter chicken and garlic naan. The Tandoori chicken was also nicely spiced and delicious. All food we ordered was delicious. Our experience was enjoyable and I world recommend giving Sansar a try."
"New place in Lockeford.Went in for an early weekday lunch buffet.Fast friendly service.Great food.Looking forward to our return.Still working things out."
"4.5 stars. This place is definitely worth the drive. Raj is a sweetheart and will make sure everything is perfect. I took off 1/2 point only because I prefer my samosas w/ lighter dough. And I prefer inside potato mix to be a bit dryer if that makes sense. And the green dipping sauce was watery to me. But that won't stop me from going back! Go support them. It will be worth your while:) everything was homemade delicious-ness!"
"We order from this place ALL of the time at work. This is our go-to spot for Indian food in the area. The sauce from their butter chicken is so creamy and flavorful and the thicken is so tender. I'm also a fan of their tandoori chicken. It's so flavorful and I love that they give you a slice of lemon, that little squeeze of lemon gives you a perfect burst of citrus that matches great with the chicken. Their garlic naan is so good I don't think I've found any on par with theirs. I've never eaten here but it's a pretty small spot with a few tables inside if you chose to go that route.Lastly, I just want to say that they are so accommodating for us when we place our big work orders. They organize everything nicely for us so we don't have to deal with it when we pick up the food.Side note, gotta love when people save they've been to a place (here) a ton over the years but only take the time to actually do their review when they have 1 bad experience. Guess all those years of loving their food wasn't worth a review I suppose huh."
"This is a gem!! Very spacious and renovated on the inside. Went for the first time today, was able to dine in and order a cocktail brunch with some chicken tiki masala and nan. The food was spectacular! The nan was made super fresh still ripe with hot oil. Mixed with the rice and masala it was a food coma combo. This is definitely my new Indian food place go to fav for me now. It is conveniently located right off west lane next to holiday cinema. I just want to give a compliment to the service they provided. They went the extra mile every step of the way and accommodated every request I had with a smile on their face. I will recommend to all my friends."
"We love the service we get here. The food is quite tasty. It is a bit on the spicy side but that is to be expected. I would recommend the biryani here for sure. The portion sizes are generous."
"I am sorry to all my yelpers. I am traveling for work ran inside to grab some food and dash back to the hotel. I order had a drink and waited for my food. My waitress was Navjot she very polite and nice . She made feel welcome. She was able to discuss the menu and together we figured out a fire recommendation the Special Chicken Biryani's. Very delicious and light with the rice. Spice level was medium just barely breaking a sweat. The restaurant was clean and open. This is must try if you love Indian food. I will be returning just to give this place a sit down and try . Please support and give them try."
"Best Indian food I have ever tasted! Very organized grocery store/clean restaurant. Also, have Ria money transfer to send money worldwide! Must visit."
"Great food! I saw this new place at 2201 McHenry Avenue in Modesto, CA recommended on a friend's facebook page and I tried it out. I had the Aachari Chicken Wings with a side order of Aloo Tikki. I asked for mild wings. They were not "hot", yet the flavor was very strong. [Garlic, ginger, fenugreek, etc.] The mild flavor of the potato cakes with "cooling" yogurt sauce was a perfect complement to the exotic spices of the chicken. ! Su'ādī! Delicious!"
"DoorDashed the meal. Very good and creamy. Butter chicken was very rich and creamy. And the vindaloo was full and flavor and spicy as requested. Will order again"
"Wowza! Everything I love about Indian cuisine on a crisp pizza crust! It's truly to die for, bravo to the chef! Service is amazing as well! The atmosphere is family friendly clean, with lots of booths for a more intimate experience as well as tables. A great selection of beers to match the menu. All around a great find for us on our trip!"
