"I was downtown and stumbled across this place tucked on a side street by the courthouse. I love gyros and since gyros is in the name I figured they must be good. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I already knew what I was there for so I didn't have any questions. They are on the pricey side I spent about $17 for the beef gyro combo they also have chicken and lamb but the lamb cost more and I think I paid $1 more for beef. When the gyro was wrapped up it looked a little small but it really was the perfect size for me. The fries were huge and fresh, they don't have fountain drink just canned. The gyro was very delicious and there was the perfect amount of every thing in the gyro, the beef was tender. If I'm around here again I would return."

"I enjoyed eating here. I had the steak street tacos, the fried fish street tacos and the nacho fries. The portions were huge. The only thing I didn't like was that there were barely any nacho cheese on the fries, it was more of a drizzle, it felt like they skimped out on it. You can see in the video that it looked kind of bare. I had to buy more nacho cheese for $2.80 for a cup of cheese. That kinda sucked. The staff were friendly. And the store was clean. I do recommend giving it a try."

"What a wonderful surprise. I had no idea Lodi has an authentic Pakistani restaurant. The restaurant is off on a side street to Lodi Avenue, so it's easy to miss.We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamp Curry, garlic Naan, rice and Mango Lassi. "A wonderful thing I'm seeing more of in and around Lodi are these great little fusion restaurants (and in this case, also a market) that combine the foods that we know and love with more exotic flavors. Rice & Spice is no exception. They have a pretty extensive menu that offers up a lot of good stuff. I have been addicted to their pizza ever since discovering this gem. In a town where mom and pop pizza places are still more expensive than most other areas, it's nice to know that at Rice & Spice you can pay a little less and get a whole lot more. They also have a lot of signature specialties that are really great. Their BBQ Chicken Pizza has decent portions of tasty roasted chicken, and a BBQ sauce that is just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I like to get it with olives instead of onions. Definitely drop in for take-out, and be sure to pick up goods from the market. There's a lot there to spice up your kitchen!"

"Some of the best Mexican fares can be found in a truck on the streets. Chimulita- a family owned Cali-Mex fusion food truck serving up some of the tastiest and creative combinations of food you'll ever eat. Widely known for their signature Chimulita tacos- - dipped and grilled corn tortillas, melted cheese, meat, toppings and house aioli. We tried a flight of tacos- - brisket, chicken and asada. All remarkably and subtly different, with varying textures and flavors. Delicious! The brisket quesadilla was also a great choice! The tender brisket wrapped in a crispy shell, packed with cheese and house aioli was superb! Best part is, all their proteins are halal! They're located in the parking lot of a car/tire shop off of Monte Diablo. You can order online or call ahead."

"Picked up dinner here yesterday while in town for work and I'm so glad I found this local gem. Everyone who helped me was super friendly and once I placed my order, the food was ready to go in about 10 minutes. It was delicious and affordable, which is my favorite combination. I asked for medium spicy and it was just right. Definitely had a burn but not too much to stop eating. The rice was worth writing home about too. And the portion size! I barely made a dent for dinner and finished it for lunch today. All for $11 bucks? I am a happy camper. My next task is to find something comparable in my town, but I'm not holding my breath."

"So excited to see this new Indian restaurant pop up in Merced! It also has the CHEAPEST lunch buffet price around! $12!?!? Literally cannot be beat!The restaurant is a small, cozy hole-in-the-wall with plenty of street parking. It's located right behind Save Mart and McDonalds.I came on a Monday at noon and they had a great selection for the lunch buffet. There was Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Tandoori Chicken (among other vegetarian options). There's self-serve Basmati Rice and Chicken Biryani, and Naan or Garlic Naan available for request from the server/host. There's also self-serve Indian Chai available!The server was attentive and good about checking in on me. I had an awesome experience and would highly recommend! Just found my new go-to lunch buffet spot!"

"Tried it today and was pleasantly surprised. We usually go to Elk Grove for Nick the Greek but stumbled on this place and we are so glad we did! This will definitely be our new go to!Hubby and I shared the chicken platter and shawarma fries and both were amazing! Plenty of food and the portions are big! I also got aSingle falafel which was amazing and I will definitely order again! We also had their yummy pistachio baklava and their chocolate nut cigar and it was delicious! "4.5 stars. This place is definitely worth the drive. Raj is a sweetheart and will make sure everything is perfect. I took off 1/2 point only because I prefer my samosas w/ lighter dough. And I prefer inside potato mix to be a bit dryer if that makes sense. And the green dipping sauce was watery to me. But that won't stop me from going back! Go support them. It will be worth your while:) everything was homemade delicious-ness!"

"This place is a one of a kind hidden gem that we're lucky to have here in Stockton! The food is so fresh, made to order and very affordable. There's a small market inside also with a huge variety of spices, flours, pantry goods and all types of sizes. You can buy for a small family or buy in bulk on almost all of them. They're so helpful in explaining how to use the spices and what things they will pair with. I always leave so happy, everyone is so nice, they make you feel like family! I can't say enough great things about this place! It's also VERY clean. I've tried almost the whole menu and every single item is unique flavors and leaves you craving it!
