"I have my online purchase sent here, It was delivered around 1030am and as indicated on 29's website, April contacted me the same day (usually same day or within 24 hours) in the afternoon and told me the firearm had been processed and ready for paperwork.I came in the next day and was greeted by Joel, a very friendly and knowledgeable guy. He did my paperwork and also helped me pick another firearm for my wife. The whole process went smoothly, he even recommended some add-ons for my new purchase. Limited selections of both pistols and rifles but decent enough. Great people working here and their price isn't too bad. Overall a great experience and highly recommend this biz to others"
"These guys are doing great. Marks on the floor for distancing between customers, must wear masks note on the door, and the staff all had masks on over their face and nose appropriately. I got exactly what I was looking for, and all my questions were answered with a great attitude. Not something you always see in a busy store with a line out the door. I will continue to show my patronage to Called2Arms and tell my friends about the great experience."
"Oh I realized an update was overdue.I recommend this FFL. I would definitely do business with him again if only I lived closer. He has fantastic pricew on ammo I much needed and buying the AK from him was no hassle and pleasant. I strongly recommend calling before you stop by to give a lil heads up you're coming by I'm sure I'll be back when I'm in the general area"
"The customer service was good here. The guy at the counter was able to explain a couple of things to me without making me feel dumb."
"I bought three guns from this shop in December at a gun show. They really helped me make a good selection and started the transactions. The first one went well, and then the second one was good. Each time it was a chore for them to find the guns and sort out all the paperwork. They were very disorganized. 5 months later and several visits with lost paperwork on their side, I finally have the third one. I am glad to say that they have improved their operation and cleaned up a lot of the issues. I know the owner was unwell, so I reserved any review until now. I will go back, they are friendly and helpful people."
"Cameron and team are true professionals. I recently made a purchase and their advice and expertise was exactly what I needed to make the right decision; I'll definitely be a repeat customer."
"Called in with some questions -- the associate who took my call was very informative and super professional. Ammo is of scarcity throughout the country but we're finding it to be more so in CA. We will stop by tomorrow afternoon and pick up what we need. Pricing for ammunition have gone up but I would say that the price tag for 500 rounds is largely reasonable. Sounds like these folks are pretty stocked up these days. Check them out!"
"I haven't been here as much as I used to, but today I had a rough day at work. So I went to the range to blow off some steam and calibrate my firearms. The best part was speaking with the range masters, Jay and Jeff. I asked them for advice on leadership, which related to my concerns. They listened and gave me some advice since we are all veterans. Besides all that, the shooting range itself is nice, and they prioritize safety, which is very important. They even gave me a warning for rapid fire that I wasn't aware I was doing. But it's okay with me because it's for safety reasons. I'll definitely come back regularly--this place is awesome. Give those two a medal."
"Amazing customer service, very helpful with the process of getting my firearms certificate very knowledgeable about the process and helpful."
"Good people willing to help you prices are reasonable as well. They always seem to have new stock in firearms and ammunition willing to answer all your questions and help you through the process."
"Eddie and team do a fantastic job of providing some of the best customer service around. I won't bother looking anywhere else for a firearm purchase."
"They had great customer service and great prices! Big selection of goods and guns including some nice used guns."

Located in a decent sized strip mall off of the busy Broadway street is a hidden gem you might accidentally pass up. A relatively small show room containing everything you need from ammo, parts, to firearms that most standard places don't carry. They also have a pretty solid gunsmith that the local sheriffs trust to have their firearms upgraded, that has to say something.I came here for some small AR parts before and ammo on other occasions. Might I add they have excellent prices on ammo from target to high quality rounds available. The guns/rifles have a slight markup but they're available on hand so it's worth skipping the wait and holding your breath for getting something shipped in. But if you're getting something transferred through FFL, their fee is the lowest I've seen. I'd say that this place stands out from any dealer than I've been to simply by the customer service, knowledgeability and patience that the staff has here. You can take your permit tests as I've seen a few people taking advantage of. I noticed how well they treated the super green customers that were in the market for their first gun. These people really enjoy their job and won't rush or force anything on you. I strongly suggest everybody exercise their 2A rights and if you're gonna do it, this would be a solid place to be introduced and taken care of with your journey. Even the know-it-alls trust this place

I placed an order for a gun on 12/9/2023 for $3,750 with the expectation that the gun will be delivered in few months. Justin and Cassie were responsive in the beginning, but as time went on they became less and less responsive to my inquiries for delivery until they just stopped responding in May of 2024. As of now 5 months later, I still don't have the gun I ordered, my requests for refund goes unanswered, and now I have to allocate resources to take legal action.

10/10 on everything. Amazing friendly staff that feel like good friends. Prices are out of this world. My one and only go to ammo shop. I recommend them to everyone anyone who needs simple range ammo and/or high quality ammo. I drop a few hundred every time I come in the shop because how amazing this little store is. I have never bought a firearm here but they sure do have a great selection at some pretty good prices. Thank you to all the staff for always making sure I'm taken care of.

Awesome service! Great deals! Nice people. Initially bought some reloaded 9mm for $85-something/250 rounds and a bulk of CCI minimags 22lr $52/500 a few weeks ago.Fast service, in and out of the store in less than 30mins...of course, I had to talk shop, too. But transaction was quick.Went through the 9mm, no problem. I was actually wary since this is my first time to try reloads..but they shot really well. I went back to get the 500 rnds for $170 (got a $9 discount) last week. I plan to get 2 more boxes for more range enjoyment.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Clean lanes and restrooms. Was able to take my son and wife here, and made a family day out of the experience. Hopefully they are able to expand the range area. I recommend this facility to anyone in Solano County.

"Arnold, CANo guns here at the moment, but lots of knives. The owner and son (I assume) were very nice. I though I might make a splurge on some French steak knives, but they were out of stock. We did find a nice gift for a friend, a beautiful wooden handle $30 French foldable mushroom knife with a little brush on the end, never seen one before, but saw it hanging on the magnetic knife rack and it caught my eye.The owner was so nice, he knew the knife was for a gift, placed it in the original box and wrapped it before we even had to ask... and all the while continued to chat with us.What a great little store, and a nice quick visit. Suport local small shops if possible!"
"Professional, fast, and very easy to work with. I had a very easy time getting a firearm from Loyal Arms, and while it certainly wasn't cheap, well, it was market price so I guess that's fine.If you're looking for something difficult to find or want a very special piece (think PCCs or 2011s), the selection here is unmatched in Northern California. For any first timers - yes they are located in an office building. This continuously tripped me out but I guess it works for them.My wallet and the distance mean it'll be a while before I consider coming back, but if you're looking for a top quality place with a high end selection this is unbeatable."
"A.S.P. Armory stands tall as the unequivocal mecca of firearms! Within a 50-mile radius, this haven of knowledge and selection reigns supreme. The staff's mastery in firearms is nothing short of mind-blowing; their depth of understanding leaves me astounded with every visit.Their inventory? It's not just great; it's jaw-droppingly fantastic! I've yet to walk in and not find exactly what I'm looking for--and then some! The sheer variety and quality are unmatched, catering to enthusiasts of all levels. And, oh boy, my wife now insists on joining me, not just to curb my incessant purchases, but also because she's grown fond of the vibrant atmosphere and the laughs shared over those clever F* Newsom shirts and decals! But here's the real kicker--beyond the phenomenal range and knowledgeable staff, the prices and value are off the charts! The quality-to-price ratio is insane; I often find myself double-checking if I'm dreaming with the incredible deals I snag.Let's not forget their commitment to education and safety, offering invaluable gun safety classes and guidance on concealed carry. It's not merely a store; it's a community hub where knowledge, safety, and passion converge.I cannot stress enough how A.S.P. Armory has become my sanctuary, a place where I not only satisfy my firearm cravings but also connect with fellow enthusiasts. I'm not getting anything for singing their praises, but this local gem deserves all the applause and support. In the realm of free choice, I implore all firearm enthusiasts and supporters of local businesses: A.S.P. Armory is more than just a store; it's an unparalleled experience that combines quality, value, and expertise in a way that exceeds every expectation!"
"Allen and Patricia were very helpful and friendly. He has a good selection of inventory."
"As with my review for the attached shooting range, I am not an expert on firearms. Not in the slightest. So this review is in the eyes of a newbie, not someone who "knows their stuff". That being said, I really enjoy this place.I've been to all the gun shops on Laguna, and so far, this is the first place I've purchased from. The owner is friendly, funny, and HE certainly knows his stuff. He recently helped me (and my husband) choosing a firearm for me to purchase. I was even allowed to shoot it in their range while I awaited the DOJ clearance, so you better know that once we were done signing the proper paperwork, we took that bad girl to the range (yes My gun is a girl). As I've said, I'm not expert, but shopping here might make me one someday."
"I have not purchased a firearm here but I have bought a few mags and other accessories here. They are very helpful and attentive. Their gun prices seem a little high. Customer service is top notch."
"I had to break in some handguns so I decided to come here. They had some bad reviews but I thought they were fine. The range is behind the gun store and has it's own entrance. They have their own parking area that is marked off by signs. I walked in and was greeted by 2 staff members. They asked me to fill out a form and sign into the log for the lane I was to shoot at. I was shooting in lane 9. It was bigger than the other lanes. It had good room to lay out all my guns. There are only 9 lanes so this is a small facility and I assume it gets really busy at times. I was here on a weekday after lunch so no problem. I saw some 556 rounds on the ground so I guess you can shoot a rifle here but I didn't ask. The range doesn't look long enough for that but I didn't know. I shot all of my guns and had a lot of fun. Easy enough and it was 24 buck as I bought one target. I will come again with my wife to shoot. Seems nice and it's close."
"I will be purchasing a very large, secure gun safe in the next year, so now is research time. My current safe is from Costco. It cost $1000 and has worked great for many years. Now it's contents are valuable enough to warrant more protection and I need more space. Cheap safes (generally $2000 and under) are great to a point. They will protect you from a quick smash and grab, but a even slightly determined robber can get through them. Search YouTube and you will be shocked. I want something that can survive a decent attack, and is very big.I just got back from Hall's Safe Company. There isn't much of a sign for the place, and when you walk in there were only 2 safes in a small entry area. Not a showroom like I was expecting. A guy (not the young guy from the other review) came in seconds later, and I said I was interested in a safe. He explained that they don't resell safes, they make them. He politely but bluntly asked how much I was looking to spend. As someone who has just done a ton a research, I understand exactly why he asked this question. Good safes cost many thousands of dollars. If someone is looking to spend $500-$1500 they need to go to Costco or another safe store that sells lines of cheap safes. And for what those customers want, those cheap safes are probably just fine. Asking this question lets the customer and the sales guy quickly know if a Hall's safe is what they are looking for.I said I was looking to spend $4000-$6000 and he told me to head on back to the work area with him. This company looks like it does a lot of different metal work in addition to making safes. There were a number of large boats and other various projects being worked on. We reached the safe manufacturing area and there were a few safes in mid build. Steel boxes and doors, no finish. The guy showed me a few things about how they build them and explained the different strengths and methods, and what is important. We then went back to a room that had a bunch of finished safes of different sizes, designs and colors. I must say, they are beautiful. The guy explained how the thickness of the metal in the walls and door of the safe, and around the door frame are really important. These are where cheaper safe manufacturers save most of their money. We talked about Chinese vs American steel, and the different safe manufacturers and their different lines, and which were good/bad/etc. Everything he said was in line with what my research has taught me.Hall's safes have the nicest interiors of any safe I have seen. The shelves are made of solid wood and the fabric/carpet is the nicest. You can have them layout the interior however you want, which is excellent. They have a device called a gun swinger that is too difficult to explain, but the coolest rifle storage system I have ever seen in a safe. The only area I felt they were lacking in is the inside behind the door. In recent years the big safe companies have started installing fantastic door storage systems standard with their safes. They are awesome. Lots and lots of holsters for pistols, and various other bags and pockets for other things that would require to you put them in boxes or roll around, taking up valuable rifle and pistol space. The guy said he wasn't a big fan of those systems, and that they didn't work well. Maybe he hasn't seen the new ones in recent years, because the back of the door storage systems are a monster selling point for me. To Hall's defense, I'll bet they could customize the inside of the door better than the standard storage systems I like so much. We'll see.Hall's Safes are custom made. He said they average making one per day. They are expensive, and they take time to build. I believe they occasionally go to large expos like the recent one at Cal-Expo, and have some safes on hand to sell, but I think usually they will make the safe specific for the customer which takes time. If you want a safe tomorrow you will probably have to go elsewhere. If you get a Hall's safe, I think it will cost around the same +/- as other more name brand safes of the same size, but the Hall's safe will have thicker steel all around, have a nicer interior and equal or better exterior finish. I haven't sat down and gotten an exact quote yet, so I can't say that for sure, but it is the feeling I get from asking him about the cost of the safes he was showing me.I am impressed. I will be going back when I am ready and at a minimum I will get a quote to compare to other safes I am considering. If you like nice safes, especially if you appreciate custom dimensions, interiors, and finishes, you should really check this place out."
"Eric came to the rescue when three other FFLs in the Bay Area were unhelpful facilitating a basic PPT on a Saturday morning. The others were either closed, only had a 1 hour window to conduct PPTs on Saturdays (and would not even answer their phones to confirm), or not do them at all, Eric happily accommodated us at his earliest convenience. He was very communicative, informative and punctual. When you have people willing to travel twice as far to get better service then you know something sets the establishment apart from the others. I'm hoping more FFLs change their tone and approach to be more like Eric because customer are going to remember their experience with great businesses over discounted prices in the long run."
"One of the most organized, friendly, modern and clean indoor gun ranges I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, they have super slick gun rental selection too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you to Caleb who walked us through the whole experience since it was our first time there. We will be back!"
"Knowledgeable, informative and friendly staff. The whole experience was 5 star. Not one negative thing to say. Thank you Nick."
"Great place, good guy, fair price, lots of .45 parts & custom work , can engrave a 80% for you while you wate , 5 min. I will go there again,"
"Although they couldn't help me with my particular situation, they did direct me to another facility.Thank you very much"
"You know I never visited this place I am writing and giving them a 5 star review because one email I got on the smith and Wesson site and I am looking for availability of this certain item so they connected me with Antioch armory one email and Mike Y got right back with me now that's the way you do business they won my vote I will buy from them from now on thanks again Mike Y"
"I've been using this shop as my go-to gunsmith for a few years now. He's reliable, does good work and has thus far had great turn around times. There was one time when he very well could've charged further, yet when he realized a repair on my 1968 Remington Wingmaster 20GA was not possible (due to parts unavailability) he stopped the project. Very honest, trustworthy and reliable. He helped me modify my AR variant coyote rifle to meet the "new" California "laws" and has always remained very knowledgeable about the extraneous "laws" imposed on that rifle platform. Bob did a cerakote job on my ParaOrdnance 1911 when the factory bluing started having excessive holster wear; VERY reasonable pricing and the finished product was stellar. That cerakote job has held and remains looking "like new". Accurate Arms doesn't just do gunsmith work; he does FFL, builds fantastic rifles and has a small inventory as well. He has most certainly earned my brand loyalty and will remain my go-to gunsmith, FFL and all around problem solver when it comes to my hunting and target rifles. Give them a try. Also worthy to note, Bob races competitively and vis a vis his racing sport team, raises a BOAT LOAD of money for charity each year and has quietly done this for many years. I have a profound respect for businessmen who go out of their way to help the less fortunate."
"Anything I need firearm related I like to use local businesses. I was fortunate to find NorCal Firearm to help with a recent purchase. Bill is easy and a pleasure to deal with. Living farther away he was flexible to help meet at times that work. Bill's communication is excellent and he is very responsive. He made the process painless and easy. It may be a good thing I live farther away otherwise I'd be buying more from NorCal Firearms :) that said, I will be using him for any future needs and purchases. Thank you Bill. Always good to find a friend and a FLL that makes the process easy."
"The service is amazing. John is a great owner and the people who work there just hands down awesome people who have the knowledge."
"Little update the person who help me was David Montanez great guy lot of patience with the old guy me ha ha I drove all the way from Walnut Creek to do business with them the local gun shops around here suck I rather drive over to Napa and do business with them. Glad I did it went smooth thank you"
"Love love this place. Came twice and honestly need to come more often to become more relaxed around guns and properly handle firearms. The value seems to be a god bang for the buck especially if you bring your own firearm, ear protection. Both times my friends had their own firearms, and ear protection so the only out of pocket costs were for bullets, the lane, and the target which all together was about $50 if I'm not mistaken. That seemed like a good deal but equally I don't have a range to compare it to (pun intended) Another great option is you can rent different firearms. Overall it's a great location to practice aim and familiarize yourself with firearm safety."
"Awesome gun shop in Calaveras, very fair prices was worth the drive from San Francisco. Doug helped me a lot with all of my questions and other gun I'm currently building. Thank again"
"Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of ARs and accessories. I highly recommend stopping by."
"Excellent place to shoot whether you are brand new to firearms or a seasoned shooter. Its $25 entry fee and they give you a target. You can shoot as much as you want! They have great range safety officers and everyone is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!"
"Matt really knows his stuff! He's the best in the business. Big time thumbs up!! He has done everything from pistol work to custom rifle work to accessory recommendations for me. He does top notch work and builds beautiful custom guns! Matt is also an accomplished authority on long range rifle shooting. You'll be amazed at how much knowledge he has to share in that arena!! I recommend him to everyone I know."
